    Weekly Wrap Up
    I guess there is no completed stories or poems on the site that are worth making a shout out to Well, there is one so thanks to that person for giving us a great recommendation to put at the end of this week's Wrap Up!  In case you missed it in my ramblings last week, we were hoping to have you the readers (if you read on site, you are a reader )  to recommend a completed poem, story or series to have featured at the end of the Wrap Up. All you have to do is go to my profile @wildone, click on the little blue box with an envelope saying Message, and send me one, two, three or more completed story/poem recommendations. It won't be like the more in depth blog reviews, but more a shout out to an author/poet by a reader and the blurb they have shared with the story. Check out this weeks at the bottom!
     
    So what happened at the GA Blog this week you ask?

    Emeric's life sucks; he's unhappy, drifting, lonely and sad. Things go from bad to crazy with the opening of a set of secrets that no one could have prepared him for. He quickly wonders whom he can trust, who is working for 'them,' and why this misfortune fell upon his shoulders in the first place. A twisting thread through history pulls him tighter and tighter, and eventually, either he or the binding may snap.

    What's up, buttercup?
     
    So did you get to use that expression on Valentines Day? I know I'm late and maybe should have presented this last week, but oh well . So I remember when I was in elementary school, getting a box of Valentines Cards and filling out for everyone in my class, boys and girls. I was thinking to doing that this year at work but when I mentioned it to someone, they thought I might be setting myself up for a visit with H.R. So, did you do anything to spread your love this year, and if so, how? Or do you hate Valentine's Day all together?
     
    Now a request to everyone! If you look at the GA Classic at the bottom, it is empty We have been using a list and we have now run out! So if you know of a story you think we should feature in the weekly update, make sure to drop me a PM @wildone. This can mean any finished story. I shall compile a list and then Renee and I will start providing a link and the blub for the stories that you suggest! Even if it has been featured in the past and you think it should be featured again, let me know! For series, let's try to feature up to completed books. This should be your place to feature a favourite story of yours .
     
    Now, shall we visit what the GA Blog brought us this week?

    On Wednesday it was another round of Q & A! Lots of Authors contributed to this!
     
    Then we had an Anthology Thursday this week! Great responses from different people all working to get their ideas going.

    "Man in Motion," follows Be Rad and begins in 1985. To most Americans, 1985 was about the second Reagan term and the economic boom that was following the stagnant 70's. The culture was wrapped up in materialism, so it's no wonder that Madonna's "Material Girl" was popular then. Then there is this parallel culture, the gay culture, reeling from the onslaught of AIDS.

    Weekly Wrap Up
    Well one down, 11 to go  So the topic around North America this week has been the weather. I won't go into temps as there is both Celsius and Fahrenheit used here. The interesting thing is that as both approach -40, they meet. So pretty everywhere in North America above Mexico, it was darn cold. But I don't want to just talk about North America, so what about your neck of the woods. I imagine Australia is basking in their summer. Is Europe freezing cold too, or just a normal winter?

    So have you started to regret the holiday season? Did you maybe spend a penny or two more that you expected this year? I was thinking how lucky we all are in that we can come to GA and read and read and read and not put out a penny if we want! And this community is the reason why! I don't know why, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that contributes to the site, Authors, Poets, Editors, Betas, Members, Review Team, Author Promotion Team, Anthology Proof Team, Site Moderation Team, and Admins. You all make this site the greatest!
     
    Now I remember why I wanted to say that

    Well have we all recovered from our New Year's Eve festivities? Are we back to work if you took some time off for the Holiday Season? Are the students getting ready to head back to skool on Monday? Are you still writing 2018 down on everything?
     
    Enough of those questions and let's move on to the most pressing question on my mind right now... How do you have a pair of underwear? Like do you say I need to grab a clean pair of underwear? Do you grab two, or one? So how is it a pair?
     
    While you are trying to wrap your mind around that one, let's see what the blog brought us all this week!
     
    New Year's Eve, Cia wrapped up December with the CSR Discussion Day:
     
    Monday and Tuesday, our regular scheduled programming was interrupted by a special announcement by Myr:

    So, who is ready to bring in the New Year with a bang? Well let's do something a little different as we all here at GA enjoyed the holidays so let's finish off with you taking over! Why don't we discuss the New Year. I know a few years ago I failed miserably when I said I wanted to be more of a drama queen in the coming year Well, some of you may have thought I'd succeeded. But what the h e double hockey sticks, lets ask you what you are going to make your resolution to be this upcoming year . I will try to get myself to recall it towards the end of 2019 and we can see how we all did
     
    Well lets see what did happen in the blogs this week!
     
    Monday was Christmas Eve and the Review Team Elves were busy working on bringing some Christmas tales to take us into the holiday.
     
    Wednesday, we started to say goodbye to an old friend, the Improve and Encourage Blog feature. There still is a few more but make sure you soak them in while you can.

    So, if you are counting and partaking in Christmas, that is 23 more sleeps to Christmas Eve, and if Santa shows up this year you'll be opening your pressies in 24 days. Or if you are Jewish, Chanukah starts in 2 days!! Either way, I just want everyone to be forewarned that I will be expecting you all to send me a present this year . If not, then you will have to make a New Year's Resolution in 30 days to make sure you get me one next year

    Lest we forget
     
    In case you are wondering what this is, it is something that is done in countries around the world, but my exposure has always been in Canada. Today is November 11th and Remembrance Day. It is a day to reflect on those that have served and still serving for their countries. It doesn't matter what side they were on, they were willing to put their own lives on the line to defend what they believed in. This year also marks the 100th Anniversary of Armistice, the end of the 1st World War. Different countries have different names, but it is all for the same reason.
     
    Please share a Canadian Tradition; On the 11th hour on the 11th day, or the 11th month, take a personal 2 minutes of silence to honour all of those whom stood up for all of us and those that continue to do so. '
    Apologies to those around the globe that the day has mainly past
     
    So, shall we now take a look at the week in review?

    Millennium is the tenth story in the CAP Saga. Brad is the narrator, and takes us from 1999 into 2000. Many of the characters in this story were introduced in “Chronicles of an Academic Predator,” “1968,” “The Land Whore,” “Be Rad,” “Man in Motion,” “A Summer Love,” “If It Fits,” “Bloodlines,” and “The Box.” You don't have to read them before this story, but it will give you a deeper insight into those characters and their pasts.

    Well we just missed a Friday the 13th by a day  Would have been great to have one in this month. I know that some of our non North American friends don't see the hype over Halloween, but we all here do! A chance to become someone else, to come up with new and better ideas on how to scare someone, or revisit an old one. So if you are not into Halloween, why not join us and let your hair down and take in all the fun that we are having here at GA!     Wednesday we had a Birthday Party 🎂! Who's you ask? GA is 16 years old I shall apply for a drivers license for GA this week.

    What to say this week?
     
    Oh, I thought I would like to pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation to our LBO, aka Slytherin, who has some exciting changes coming up in her life and has stepped aside from the Site Moderation Team. Her participation and help with the behind the scenes work on the site has been a great contribution over the years! So, on behalf of the Site Staff and hopefully the membership, thanks LBO.   BTW, LBO stands for Little Blue One, not to be confused with the Liquor Board of Ontario
     
    So we had a busier week last week now that the dog days of summer has passed us up North. Cia started off the week with our next CSR author and story:

    Well, it has come The semi official end of Summer in my little area of the world. Today we had rain, we had hail, an hour west of me they had the S word flying though the air . Hoping everyone else is having less seasonal weather than me! I do realize that the southern hemisphere is ramping up for Summer, and other places don't really have a winter, but seasons are a changing!
