I would suggest that you tet, would like "Death to the French" aka Rifleman Dodds(USA) by C.S. Forester. and also read Poo Poo and the Dragon again by C S Forester. And if you want to compare a good filn adaption with the book African Queen. You must have seen that.

The piture labelled Valiant is of HMS Indefatigable which was a razeed(cut down) 64 gun third rate ship of the line[three decks] into a 44gun(mainly carronades) fifth rate frigate[two decks]. Probably the most sucessful frigate of the War. She was sucessful because of her gun power was more powerful than other frigates and her sailing ability. She is know for being captained by Sir Edward Pellow, who handled her very sucessfully(before 1800) and for her joint capture of the Spainish Gold fleet. The spainish fleet was detained during a peace interval and the cargo (several years of income from South America) was in todays value tens of billion of pounds. This did not go as prze money but went to the Admiralty. Prize money only covered war prizes. The picture is quite famous but I cannot remember the artist. HMS Valiant of this time was a 74 gun thirrd rate ship of the line[three decks] So I would suggest a valiant cruise on a not very profitable ship?

I read these when I was a teenager, The Last of the Wine (1956) The King Must Die (1958) The Bull from the Sea (1962) The Mask of Apollo (1966) I thought they were very good. I did not read “The Persian Boy (1972)” until 10 years ago. I believe it comes into this category. Although I was shocked by the difference from her early work, I would recommend it to anyone including my maiden aunts The contemporary novel is The Charioteer I have not read it but have had good reports of it The other one which I am told is good is the Praise singer. I have only read tiny sections of it before it was borrowed?

There is one, Roger Quitler, and half the boys of my generation known him thru "The Ash Grove" and Arnold Book of Old Songs, but like me, did not know anything more about him. The Arnold Book of old songs, and The Ash Grove was the standard songs book you had to learn.

At 12, I was given the score for "Where is Love" and after one run thru, gave it up. You must have been very good. We then went to London and the New Therater and saw the Musical. Although the programme says Keith Hamshere as Oliver, I think there must be a lot of poetical License. Oliver was small and it was near perfect. 4 or 5 years later when the filn came out I was at University of Bradford, it was painfully obvious that it was a girl or young sounding women. But it was Mark Lester on the credits. Only the Provost and organist agreed with me. Personally I think it showed up most in " I'd Do Anything " where the difference between Fagin gang and Oliver

Dolores Esteban, on 26 Dec 2013 - 9:10 PM, said: Definitely like this one better. Lovely song and the voice of the vocalist is a pleasure to listen to I had not hearded this one before I like it. but the indistinct diction and extra oramentation got me. I like Tarja Turunen more powerful voice, definitively a trained voice and could compliment the heavy backing. Both are definitely on my listen list. This is an interesting version, which may entertain! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEWcOcX_AHQ

I am not an expert as I stopped when I was 13, but I always thought that the boy soprano voice was a very specialised voice being trained to project into a large empty catheral. The ladies voices I have heard, do not have that quality, I believe because they are more natural or have been trained to use a different projection technique. I would have thought that if a girl had the same technique trained into them, they would sound the same. The limited experience I have had of girl choirs is that they sound different and better{in the main}. Probably better as they have a longer singing life.

The song Walking in the Air by Howard Blake was intended for a boy soprano. And was originally sung in the filn by Peter Auty, a boy choristor at St Paul's Catheral. It was later recording by Aled Jones, another boy soprano. The female voice [as conventional used] is not quite right and the song has to be slightly altered to fit.

The tree is lit at dusk on Christmas Eve, and extinguished after as the last wassailer leaves on Twelfth Night( Epiphany Eve). It is never in the house after twelfth night.

I would recommend that you take a bean bag instead or together with a tripod as it can reach places that a tripod cannot!

Now the question is, what is David Crystal's basic accent. I remember at school. a boy was given a piece of shakespierce to read with that same accent, an it sounded 'non sensible'. The same piece by 'correct' english accent was bland, A bristol lad did not finish the piece, it was deemed too saucy!

How common are backhoe loaders in Mexico, I do not know, but the size required to dig Atlantis and shift her is remarkable small. This is because of her very light weight. A UK medium size backhoe[75hp] which is found on every building site will do it. This equates to a small USA backhoe https://www.deere.com/wps/dcom/en_US/products/equipment/backhoe_loaders/310k_ep/310k_ep.page? Here is a youtube of keel boat being moved, This boat is ten times more difficult than Atlantis, and the backhoe used is miles too big. It could not get close enough to Atlantis. In the UK, you pay extra for a non yellow backhoe. -

This may be a case of making the prophecy come true. Since it was put forward, who is to know how much holding back or extra effort has been applied by companies and governments to meet the curve. I certainly know of cases where "the project has been held back because it does not meet the curve" There is no market yet for the product. Simalarly when I have been left alone in the bar at night because "we need a new product" huge effort was expended. -
If you cannot get butter or butter type substitute consider a good olive oil. Greek style is to use olive oil plus salt on very bland bread instead of butter. For pan frying consider peanut oil/ground nut oil instead of butter. although not as good in my opinon try olive oil instead of butter (3/4 of quantity of butter) google recipes ( do not use top quality olive oil it is a waste) Be careful, try not to use oil olive for frying Does not realy work.
