    People really need to chill. On my way home from work today, a man honked his horn to get my attention and rolled down his window. So I slowed down so I could hear him and he slowed down. We were on a major road, three lanes per direction. The person behind him honked their horn, then gunned it around him. So we approached a red light and were able to stop next to each other. The man was being a good Samaritan and told me my driver's side brake light wasn't working. Is it really that big of a deal for someone to slow down or go around? Have patience, people. The person who gunned it had to wait at the red light ahead of us, so they got real far. *eyeroll*

    My mom and I spent two hours working on cleaning out my basement yesterday. I now have a nice, functional laundry area We battled large basement spiders, conquered a dead centipede *shudder*, and survived the myriad of cobweb traps the aforementioned creatures tried to snare us in. One corner down... a hell of a lot more basement to go.

    I lived in the upper apartment of a house for about ten years. I had a real nice porch off my living room. Halloween was a big deal on that street. I had no idea how big the first year I lived there, so my one bag of candy was depleted pretty quickly. The kids never rang the doorbell for the upper apartment, so I'd sit on my porch, in costume, and toss the candy down to the trick or treaters. It was a lot of fun I would also decorate my porch with corn stalks and carve jack o'lanterns.
