    I get the feeling that The Scar will enjoy taking care of the Engineer when the time comes. I did a lot of laughing with this chapter. It definitely had its moments. To quote myself from the discussion of chapter 18, it looks like I was partially correct on my guess about Wilde. Steve's reactions are quite logical as to how he his reacting. Jan

    Both of my laptops have been Toshiba's. I've had no problems with either of them.

    I wasn't online all day yesterday, Saturday, due to an 11 hour drive back home.

    Not necessarily. I've been to some places that there was no building close enough to jump off of. Even if you tried running across the roof top and jumped. And if you were lucky enough to make it, it would have been the shallow end.

    I can relate to that, EMoe. It is difficult for Beta's and Editors to take part in discussions. We do have to watch what we say. I like the idea of a pool party also, just as long as the only thing around to jump off is a diving board. Jan

    Yes CJ, that was a good idea. I know of another site that moves stories into a 'Recently Completed' section.

    The way I see it, it could come down to one of four, Eric, Chase, Steve, or Wilde. Chase falling since it would appear that he's been set up. Wilde jumps up and attacks Eric, they fight and one falls over the cliff. Steve attacks Eric and the same thing happens. There's also the possibility that the white van that followed them was some was Lump and/or the former road manager with a long range rifle and shot one of the guys that was still on the ground, or climbing up the rock face.     Actually, it sounds like a new tradition for New Years, slow roasted goat added to the menu.

    Actually, all I did was look at the authors home page. Of the ones I looked at, CJ's was the only one that gave the status of each story. That was a good idea.

    I checked three of the Hosted Authors that I read. Of the three, only one had the status of the story at the end of the story description.

    Actually, it would be quite easy for Joe to delete some of his old posts and then go in and do a recount.

    Looks like this bird of prey is taking an unscheduled flight out west to put a certain goat on a cliff. Not only is there a cliffhanger ending, there was some cliffies throughout the story. Excellent chapter CJ. I like the way that Brandon got a measure of revenge with Shirley. It will be interesting to see who exactly has died. We have two candidates to choose from at the moment. Chase being the obvious one, then there is Eric. Jan

    Personally, I like the 1939 version. Welcome to GA, DLP. This is quite a community. There a quite a few writer here that keep the reader entertained. One you get your Authors Tag, you'll have access to several forums set up for writers. There's also a section for editors that offers help to authors and editors alike. Oh, and don't make the goat mad to the point he takes his sunglasses off. Jan

    In CJ's defense, when it comes to WST matters, it is a team decision on issues. If by chance there is a tie on something and we can't settle it, then it goes to someone not directly involved with the team to settle it. When it comes to the Readers Choice Awards, it's looking like I maybe stepping up to manage it as the Deputy Lead and not CJ. Jan
