  1. Well, you do have a set of horns.
  2. The same applies to me as well. He's posted more than I have in the two years I've been here. I have to disagree here. CJ posts in response to his forum activity. The rest of us keep him, and YOU, going by. You both reply to something. Kevin, posts when he's around. Jan
  3. It seems that all three of you post quite a bit. And now that BeaStKid is back, there will be even more.
  4. That's simple, Joe made us do it.
  5. So now we know. Thanks for sharing that Steve. Merry Christmas CJ and everyone else. Jan
  6. The way I see it, any chapter that ends making you wonder what's going to happen next can be called a cliffhanger, some bigger than others.
  7. The only time I have a problem keeping characters straight is when I'm reading stories with similar storylines. Jan
  8. I don't remember seeing this but heres what Merriam-Webster has to say about cliff-hanger; Maybe this will help in the discussion. Jan
  9. Especially true since we have 'corn' chips as well.
  10. Then we have that creamy dish known as Pudding, a type of desert in the U.S. I believe in the U.K., the word is used to indicate desert in general.
  11. Since this posting, CJ hasn't made a single post in over 24 hours. He must be trying to cut back for the holiday's. Jan
  12. Agreed
  13. One possibility for Wilde. He could be the victim of some type of abuse when he was younger by a family member or older adult that could have been gay. Steve and Zeke could be aware of this and are trying to keep him calm, cool and collected. Jan CJ, I forgot to mention, I think you need to crack down on your Beta's.
  14. Naw, just a late 65, early 66 model that I bought used. Wish I still had it.
  15. When I took Drivers Ed in school, the simulators were set up for both stick and automatic. The shifter was located on the column and not on the floor. My first two cars were both stick shifts, a 64 Corvair and a 65 Mustang. Jan
  16. I basically spent the day being lazy. The biggest thing I did all day was clear the ice and twigs off the car from the freezing rain we got Saturday night. I also spent some time reading and drifting out of The Lord of The Rings trilogy that was on TNT. Jan
  17. Thanks again, Everyone. Jan
  18. Thanks everyone. My horoscope for the day is an interesting one. You will see changes in a relationship today -- it's what you've been waiting for. with the current weather, I doubt it. If I lived in Florida or California, I'd probably do just that. But since I don't, I guess I'll have to put in one of my videos and take some virtual rides. It's amazing how a video can fool your brain into reacting, to a degree, to what you see especially for the front seat POV. Jan
  19. What can I say. It's my day. Jan
  20. Been there. Done that. Not thrilled with it. I'm a one person at a time type of guy.
  21. CJ's not a lurker here. But in his defense, at The Talon House, he is listed as a lurker. So technically, he's telling the truth. Jan
  22. I've had a few stick shifts throughout the years. They're alright if you live in an area where you don't have a lot of stop and go traffic to contend with. They are more economical verses an automatic.
  23. Is it our fault you're a sweet, lovable guy?
  24. So basically, you're saying by lurking, you're being quiet. It's the quiet one's you've go to be aware of. They will you when you least expect it. Jan
  25. This day turned out to be an interesting day. It was the day of our annual Employee Christmas Luncheon. It's the one day of the year where the Department Head's help prepare and serve a meal to all three shifts. The fun part had already started hours before I showed up at 10:00 a.m. When I got there, there was police and sheriff's car's at the two entrances to the facility. It seems one of the local newspapers had received a call from someone stating that who worked at the facility and drove a white vehicle had a rifle in it. Because of it, the facility was put into semi-lockdown and all white vehicles searched. No weapon was found. The police did have a suspect as to who made the call and went to talk to him. No charges were filed since the call was not made in a terrorist way. I think all he was trying to do was get his girlfriend in trouble. It also turned out that the SO is one of my department supervisors. Definitely not what she needed.
