  1. Actually, you mean you were arguing with the Goat. The goat is always right. If you don't believe me, just ask him.
  2. CJ's already said it will be a little late.
  3. I have to agree with you on this, Graeme Jan
  4. I think most sci-fi shows use some kind of Universal Translator so that they don't have to use sub-titles. I would be interested in sci-fi especially since a four of my authors write it. Sci-fi also gives you more leeway when it comes to the technical aspect of your universe. Jan
  5. Since CJ is the team lead, you wouldn't be able to sneak it past him since the WST gets it started, then Myr sets up the polling for it. Jan
  6. When you stop and think about it, every chapter ends in a cliffhanger until the next chapter is released. When a chapter ends, we are left waiting for the next chapter to see what happens next. Some like to end a chapter with an obvious cliffhanger. Jan
  7. But you do give us lessons daily. Also, don't forget that the posts in the sub-forum in the Lounge does not count towards a persons total number or the daily posts. Jan
  8. When the goat decides to move, he moves.
  9. Only one more post to go and CJ will be the first member to reach 5000 Congratulations to that prolific goat author. Jan
  10. I'm lurking too, and I've only got 8 posts so far today. Jan
  11. You know, there is a way to settle this once and for all. It is almost time for the annual Readers Choice Awards. The entire GA membership would then have a say for sure. Jan
  12. I'm a Goat watcher, I'm a Goat watcher.
  13. Your not going to be able to slip it past us. There's too many watching you. Kevin was watching me to make the post when I reached 100 and our resident beast beat him to it. Jan
  14. CJ, you and Steve are going to have some competition in the future. I just finished a chapter tonight for one of my authors who ended it with a cliffhanger. He's already done with earlier chapters of his current story. Jan
  15. Ah, but you have been on. I saw you here when I was online at work this afternoon, 1:00 to 1:30 local time. Jan
  16. Bear in mind also that there is at least three other WST members who have been posting in CJ's forum. And one of us has the the title of The WST Deputy Lead. Jan
  17. I agree. I even called myself a Lurker, just like a certain goat, before I reached 1,000 posts. But that seemed to slip thru the cracks. Jan
  18. Actually, he was asking me if I would have sex with him. His letter went on to indicate that he was curious and wanted to try it. Bear in mind also, this was back in 1987 when I got that letter. And believe it or not, I still have it. Jan
  19. I have to agree with Rad. It all comes down to a matter of choice for each of us. I've already told you about an ex of mine so I won't go into that again. There was another that came along shortly there after. A former neighbor of mine moved back into the neighborhood with is his dad. He was 15 at the time. Over the next two years, we got to know each other on a big brother type relationship. He felt more comfortable talking to me than he did his dad. Eventually, he and his dad moved back to Atlanta. I later found out that one his friends that I had met was gay. After he moved, he started writing to me and at one point, I came out to him. He replied wanting to know if I would get gay with him sometime. Later on, I got a letter from him want to see me again. He as having problems with school and was getting close to going in the army, which he wound up not doing. Over the years, we kept up some contact. Eventually he disappeared and it took 13 years to find him again. I found out he's living in Texas, the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I found out from him, that he'd been married 3 times and at one point, he did ask if I would get gay with him again. After a brief period of time, I stopped hearing from him again and he wasn't returning my calls. Was he Bi? I don't know. I'm thinking now more in the line of being gay and very deep in the closet and since he was living with is mother and her family, he was afraid being found out. Those two case tend to make me shy away with a relation with someone who's bi. Jan
  20. Lets face it. We are all postaholics in some fashion or another. Some more than others. And there are some of us posting here that have access to forums that others don't. Jan
  21. I think that would be the ultimate cliffhanger to the story if the Queen of the Evilest Cliffhangers was to suddenly disappear because of describing and using bombs in great detail.
  22. I don't know either, but I assume they would start at the beginning and go through the whole thing and tally up each person. You can do a search of posts and topics from your profile. This shows you all the topics you've started and the replies you've made. Jan
  23. You're one of the rare ones then Benji. I have to agree, that some want their cake, and to eat it too. My experience with Bi's is thru some of the dating sites out there. I hear those groans. Some of the hits I've gotten are bi's looking for one thing and one thing only, and it's not a relationship. I mentioned in the S.O. some about an ex of mine. To make a long story short, I was in a two year relationship with a straight man, not gay, not bi. I guess you could say someone in his late teens early twenties, he was still questioning.
  24. Excuses, excuses, excuses.
  25. I think it would be true in any country. Go off the beaten path and really see what an areas like.
