  1. I used to, but not anymore. Although I did enjoy "Get Out." The thing about this chapter is that it's so well written and feels so real that it was excruciating to read just a few days after the massacre of 9 and 10 year olds in Uvalde Texas.
  2. Except it was straight porn.
  3. I really miss it. I use the crossed fingers, "hope your writing improves"
  4. The chapter start had the opposite effect. It put me on high alert that this was THE chapter where the hammer fell.
  5. Not enough food for me in Denny's senior menu dishes. I'd prefer they give a senior discount for any dish instead.
  6. They are still here in the US.
  7. Surprised, yes. Enjoyable, not.
  8. Ritch is in a Alaska when this is happening.

    You left me.

What a great chapter! Well worth how long @Mrsgnomie made us wait to find out what really happened the night the music ended for Loren & Lars. I also can't fathom the abuse their parents put both boys through for so many years. Nor why? And we can't forget forget Aidan and LoeJay in the pool. Nor the beginning of the next evolution of Loren/Jay/Seamus/Matt's relationship/joint family. Superb.

    Me, too.

    Baby Mugget

"With the gentlest touch, I brush his baby fine, red hair to the side." I don't remember, does Aidan also have red hair?
  12. Given the stratified setup, like eating in different dining halls and different work duties, it's quite possible D'gar might not ever cross paths with the boys unless/until they are candidates.
  13. Another great chapter. No danger, no yelling. What a relief after previous tension and turmoil. It's wonderful the way you fill in details about life on Pern not covered in most stories, both Anne's and yours. I hadn't realized that there was a separate dining hall for non-Riders, or that there were so many that they ate in shifts. How were able to carry so many people on the dragons when they jumped 400 years? I hadn't realized there were 500 dragons in a full Weyr. I hadn't realized how poor some Holds were nor how hard life was there. I love having this fuller picture of Pern,

    Chapter 31

    Great chapter.
  15. "Operation Hammerhead" took place in 2573. At the point you took us to in that story, the Alliance fleet had totally destroyed the enemy fleet. How come, 47 year later, in 2620, the Alliance has become so powerless that "Earth has fallen. The mighty Alliance fleet was trashed in a lightning attack by advanced aliens. Earth and her many colonies are occupied."????

A fun chapter. CJ & Chipper have a great friendship. They are two very busy men, with growing careers and expanding number of acquaintances --- but they always prioritize spending lots of time together whenever they're in the same city. I loved watching Chipper and Liebe interact. She receives love from so many people. When will you publish the first Liebe spinoff?
  17. In previous Mawgrim stories, D'gar experienced the deaths of many people close to him and it affected him deeply. He really shook him up to learn (while he was still in the air fighting Thread) that two children and one of the riders from his wing nearly got killed. In GAGA, he actually holds himself responsible for this possible tragedy because he was the Wingleader responsible for the area surrounding the Weyr and he had assigned only one rider rather than two to keep an eye out for people being outside the Weyr. D'gar is usually the calm peacemaker but he was in a rocky emotional state when he got to Jevikal and Kadin and exploded on them.

    Island Blowjob

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. I was the golden only son & eldest child. I and the older of my sisters moved as far away as we could, me to Alaska, my sister to California. My parents clearly got the message that we weren't going to ever move back "home."

Isn't that the nature of dreams, creating a different universe with it's own logic and what makes sense?
  20. Great chapter. Very well done how you tied up the strands at the conference, then opened new ones back in NYC.
  21. Now that I think of it, the same conditions of sensible President and Senate must have been in place for CJ to have been confirmed as Ambassador to Cuba ... and even more so as Ambassador to the United Nations, which is a highly political position. Your vision for American politics over the next 10 years is more optimistic than mine.
  22. In the last chapter, you also remembered something I'd said a while ago. I'm very impressed. You get a lot of comments for each chapter of each of your stories, from many different readers. How can you possibly remember what each one of us has said? Do you have a spreadsheet like you have to track the characters you've created?
  23. My goof. It's Chief Justice Obama who'll swear CJ in. So John Roberts was already gone, and a sensible President and Senate voted Obama in. May it be so. BTW, every time I read HTTC, I'm impressed anew with what a great, feel-good story it is.
  24. Thank you reminding us who characters are. You do it very subtly and smoothly.
  25. I think Mae West would have something to say about that.
