I'm so glad you like the characters, they are developing as I write so we will have to wait and see how much they'll tell me about themselves

I love shifter stories and so I jumped into this story as soon as Gary started posting it.
The first chapters introduce you to Keller and show the poor young man finding out in the worst way that he is actually a shifter.
The story follows the young man as he meets up with other shifters and slowly learns about them and himself.
I love Gary's writing, because just when you're sure you know what is going to happen next he throws the reader a curveball that opens up a whole new avenue you hadn't thought of. He keeps the reader on their toes and always gives more with each chapter.
The malaise Kellers new pack is suffering from seems to have no visible cause and therefore no cure. But, Keller brings new skills to the pack and new discovery are made with each new chapter.
Simon spun around and stared in open-mouthed shock.
Where there had once been a cat now sat a big black man with hair the same silver as the cat’s had been. And he was naked.
“Who are you?” Simon blurted the first thing that came into his head. “Where did the cat go? Where are the cubs? Are they safe? Who are you?”
“You asked that last question twice.” The man’s tone was calm and unruffled.
“What?” Simon was lost for words. “I’m freaking out and all you can say is I’ve asked
First, I am so sorry for not replying sooner, I don't know how I missed this comment.
Toby has his own things to deal with, but I think he has had more people to help him create coping strategies.
I think this story will center around Danny and Silas, and so Toby and Tara will be a sort of aside.

You are wanted on here and definitely by me. You've been a friend when I thought I had none and been the voice of reason when I was being thick headed.
To me, you will always be a rose in my garden.
A sad but well written short poem.
Thank you Dodger I'm glad you have enjoyed the story so far and I hope you enjoy the rest as well. These last few chapters were hard to write as I'm sure they were hard to read, but they were needed for the story and for the characters to start healing.
Thanks for the comments
I found the same information when I did the research for this story. But, what I also found out was lion did make a sound that sounded like a purr, even though it was made in a different way to house cats. Since that part of the chapter was from Vash's POV and he wouldn't know the sound wasn't a purr since he's only just found out he's a lion I felt it a better way to describe the sound he could hear himself making.
Thank you for taking the time to comment and for sharing the information
Hi Emi, Sorry for late reply I missed this comment somehow....I decided to add a third to Casey and Jackson because the two just didn't seem to be able to communicate without a mediator. Maybe Vash will be able to bring them together at some point in the future?
Thanks for the comment
Thank you, That end bit got added in as an afterthought, it made me laugh and so I left it in.
Thanks, I hope you enjoy what comes next
Thanks CG, I hope I can keep you on the hook
Thank you Hope you enjoy where the story goes.
Thanks Gary, I'm glad you like it so far.
Thank you, everyone, for your comments.
I must admit I am very much a cat person
I'm glad my time is slowly opening up so I have time to add more to this and the rest of my stories on GA.
Thank you both for the comments
