Ah... So nice of you to say that. I was worried it would be too sweet, but once I decided my direction I wanted a good ending with emotion but not syrupy.

Thank you for reading and commenting! I was indecisive about the ending at first, but then I thought it would be too cruel to the readers to have anything but an escape. Especially since the theme was Secret admirer.

I can never read that word without thinking of this song: Almighty God by Duke Ellington. Sang in my choir and it's such a beautiful song. Ms. Alice Babs was Swedish, so a bit of pride in that too. -

Joining in the local celebrations is one excellent way to become a native. Jahke is turning into a very valued member of the household. Him not being a push over adds to the appeal. Not just a pretty face. And body.

Now that went terribly wrong... What a first outing! That crow better be informing a certain someone so this danger can be eliminated. Jahke can't stay cooped up inside all the time. But he won't like going out now. And here's an opportunity to bond with Kiorl! Just the cherry on top of his day.

Sweet, caring, horny, slightly vain Jahke! I think Sitka's tactic of leaving him alone and thereby giving him a push to join in is a good one. Hard to admit to oneself just how much you want to enjoy demons naked, but he's getting there.

Odd that they left so quickly and that he can't catch up with them. Even in his current form, he should be pretty fast in the forest. How long did he linger in the trolls house after freeing them? Was he detained somehow?
