Unfortunately, the reaction of the police officer to eighteen year old Bryce is from the experience of an acquaintance of mine. Granted, he was older that Bryce's character was at the time, but he was made to feel like he was in the wrong and was responsible for what happened to him. The incident has coloured his view of law enforcement in general, so Bryce's reaction reflects that as well. Your story about the incident on the train was a great reflection on humanity. Although one person was a jerk, many other people proved that there are still good people out there. Thank you for your comments and support, Tim.

Alek is a character that I know very well. I know all of his motivations and thought processes. I chose not to have the reader in his mind so that they could get to know him through Liam's eyes, and I am glad that many adore him as much as I do Thank you for your comments and all of your support, my dear, patient friend
