    Chapter 23

People have different tolerance levels for forgiveness I find, and Alek is lucky that Liam still has some forgiveness to give because others (including some readers of this story) would have walked away. Luckily, Alek seems to realize how close he came to losing everything. Thank you for your comments and support, David

    Chapter 22

LOL I think the number of pages is due to the fact I finally got caught up in my responses haha Bryce is a hoot. I enjoy writing him Thank you for your comments and support, Lisa
  3. I would have to agree with Rob and Trevor about this: If they went together. as a date, it would be a hollow statement, just for the sake of making a statement and could actually detract from the message. Dancing together? Now that's entirely different I really enjoy the talks between Rob and Eric. Eric might be a bright young man, but it's good to have an older, more experienced sibling around. I hope they don't lose all of that closeness when Rob moves away in September. Great job at the pitchfork preventative measures
  4. I remember reading and really enjoying this story. I'm going to have to read it again to reacquaint myself with it before the CSR day

    Rainy Day

This brings to mind titans, uncaring of the world around them, while the wind swirls and the earth quakes beneath their feet.
  9. These are as lovely as the first time I read them. Ode reminds us that we can find beauty in the little things. No matter what happens in life there is always something beautiful in the world, even if it's just found in a tiny wildflower Visit was sad, but filled with love. A ghost of a past love who has come to give comfort when it's needed. thank you for sharing these
  10. Each of these three poems speak of pain, but they are also about endurance. There are lines in each that really speak to me: "One step forward two steps back. It only matters that you try." Yes, life can push you back, but you only live, if you try. "It can stifle you with pain Yet also make you sing". I know some of your writing can stir up painful memories, but it's the good moments... the times that it makes your heart soar that seem to make it all worth it. "The thing this life has taught me. It takes determination to endure" I may not have been born when this started, but I recognize how much of a toll the fight for acceptance has taken on the gay community... how much of a toll it's still taking. Stonewall was the trigger for a coordinated resistance that shaped the LGBT movement, and I hope that no one ever forgets how far the community has come, and how far it still has to go. Raw, painful and wonderfully written, my friend.

    Chapter 23

Well, I'm glad you're all caught up now, CG Yes, they do both have some fault in what happened. Things are rarely black and white. They have a chance, though, to learn, and maybe rebuild from the ashes of their mistakes. Thank you for your comments and support, CG

Not hurried, but a slow and sensual moment. Beautifully described, Parker.

    Chapter 23

Yes, love is a strong motivator, and I also see Alek as a changed man. Would everyone have given him another chance? No, maybe not, but Liam loves him and sees the changes, and that's hard to just walk away from. Thank you for your comments and support, DDK

    Chapter 23

I reminds me of their early days too because in many ways they are starting from square one. One major change is they are actually dating, which is something they didn't do last time. Thank you for your comments and support, Jeff

    Chapter 23

So, no closer to convincing you Alek has changed? This will likely be something we will have to agree to disagree on, but knowing your opinion does make me try harder to show Alek in a better light. Thank you for your comments and support, Drought

    Chapter 23

Yes, their firsts are seconds this time around, but I think each experience is still new, in a way, because there isn't the same cloud hanging over things of needed to keep things a secret. Liam gets to see the differences between "in the closet" and "out of the closet" Alek Thank you for your comments and support, Parker

    Chapter 22

I don't think either of them has shared much about their parents before. Liam, because it was a painful memory, and Alek would likely see it as inviting an argument about when he was going to come out to his parents (since I haven't put the reader into Alek's head I will leave the reasons as pure speculation ) Thank you for your comments and all of your support, Tim
