Chapter 23
“Whatever you’re thinking about must be pretty serious. You look lost in thought.” Alek’s voice broke through Liam’s introspection, and he peered up at the other man with a sheepish smile.
“Sorry. I was just thinking how this time last year I never thought we’d be here, on a date… in public. It’s nice.”
Alek looked embarrassed as he moved the food around on his plate. “I know we should have done this a long time ago. I can’t apologize enough for hiding you
You're right, Alek needs to make some changes if he wants Liam back, and he needs to make those changes without Liam around.

This is some of your most angry writing, and I completely get it. There is hatred out there, directed at all walks of life, and most of it is bred through a lack of understanding that causes fear. Fear can turn people into ugly and violent creatures that the god(s) they profess to follow wouldn't recognize or condone.
Each of these poems add their own blend of spice, yet they seem to all be part of one master dish, presented to the reader in flavorful bite-sized pieces. Really well done, Parker
Thank you, Gary 'a man in love who is falling in love' describes Liam well. He's falling in love with the man Alek is evolving in to.

Communication has worked well for them so far, and Liam needs to go slow to feel comfortable with the relationship. Alek realizes this and is trying his best to make this relationship what Liam needs.

I've been trying to figure out what to write about this. I've written and erased several comments, but nothing seemed adequate so I'll just say: you did a great job of describing how it feels to be out of place... out of step with the world. I've felt that, and it's not a good feeling. Excellent job
lol well there has been a lot of cheeping for the Bryce story so I should probably start building up some background
Thank you for your great comments and all of your support, Drew
It makes me happy to see Alek winning a few more fans. It means I've done my job showing the changes in him
Thank you for your comments and support, Terry
LOL I had a lot of fun writing the scene between Liam and Bryce. Bryce is a great character to write.
It seems like Alek is slowly winning you over, even if he does still have a little more to prove. I'll have to see about getting him into a Pride parade
