I agree... sometimes being picky can be a mask. Is it in this case? We may have to wait a while to find out
Thank you for your comments and support, Parker. Hopefully dinner will be as interesting as your spice rack
LOL I agree, but right now Liam is a good buffer for them I think. It takes the pressure off of making a move or a decision.
Thank you for your comments and support, deville
Chapter 26
Liam pulled up to Alek’s house with his stomach fluttering. From force of habit, he peered nervously around the neighbourhood for anyone who might see him going inside, but quickly chastised himself. This wasn’t supposed to be necessary anymore, and he needed to get past this anxiety.
He turned off the car and pocketed his keys as he stepped out into the cool evening air. Taking in a deep breath, he headed up the front steps and rang the doorbell. He smiled when
What a beautiful memory, and a wonderful way to pay tribute to your beloved friend. (And I'm fine with however you choose to share these cherished memories with us).
I really enjoyed this. It was very heartfelt and I could feel the emotion coming through each line. I agree with Gary: I like how you repeated the first two lines. It really worked here.
(And Gary is a great cheerleader, isn't he?)
The power to give pleasure and the power to inflict pain.. words can do both. I will reiterate what other's have said before me: I am sorry that you were hurt, even if the pain did spawn this beautiful poem
This was beautiful, Renee. It perfectly describes the joy and love I've found in some very dear and cherished friends I haven't had the pleasure to meet face to face. Thank you for this.
'A bowl of fruit In my birthday suit' is still one of my favourite lines Like the others I love the positivity in these poems. You've always been a bright light for me here, and it's wonderful to see a glimmer of that light making a resurgence
I think people come into our lives for a reason. Whether it's to bring friendship, impart wisdom (whether good or bad), or even just make us smile for the few minutes we know them. Their impact on our lives can be large or small, but all of those meetings leaving a mark. I don't regret anyone I've met, and I certainly don't regret meeting you
Chapter 25
After Bryce made himself presentable, they drove in his car the cafe picked out by Nathan. It still amused him at how excited Nathan seemed to be when he learned Bryce would be joining them. Judging by the way both men had behaved, it appeared the attraction went both ways. Maybe there was a chance for the two men to make a connection after all. When he looked over, intending to tease the other man, Bryce’s glum expression made him recall their earlier conversation, an
I agree wholeheartedly with Val on this. I think this is my favourite so far. "Only equal love and mirrored madness slake the thirst, fill the soul" Wonderfully evocative of a soul-deep craving for the one we desire.
Well worth the wait!
This was a fun and lighthearted chapter, with ugly sweaters, puppies, and young love. I was giggling as I pictured the sweaters and Michael's face when he saw his
Ad always, Kendall has shown how good of a dad he's going to he with his advice to Nate... not that Michael won't be a good father, but Kendall seems almost born to the job.
Great job, Gary and welcome back CotT!
