Unfortunately, some people only leave likes and aren't comfortable leaving comments or reviews That was me for quite a while before I felt comfortable enough to leave a comment. If forced, they might just read and leave without leaving a 'like' for the chapter.
The poem is about sadness and trials, but to me it's also, more importantly about hope. I think the last couple of lines say it all "But the tenet we must cling to is. Those vibrant colors are still there"
This was probably one of my favourite stories of yours (and that is saying a lot) because there is so much hope in it. I don't want to say too much and give the story away, so I will just say it was a beautiful short story that I would highly recommend.
Thank you, LadyDe. I appreciate your support, and your confidence in me
I'm thrilled you were won over. I know not everyone was convinced, but bringing a couple of people over to his side means I did my job showing Alek's journey and change. Thank you again for your great comments and support.
lol Not to worry. There will be a Bryce and Nathan story coming after the Crave sequel. I'll try to make sure Marty and Elena make an appearance too
Thank you for your comments and all of your support, Lisa
I can assure you there will be no sparkly vampires in my story.... well unless Merrick decides to throw glitter at Jenson
Thank you for your comments and support, Drought. Even though you didn't like Alek you stuck with it, and I appreciate that.
It did make me chuckle when I first saw you comment. I'm thrilled you like the proposal.
Thank you for all of your support and wonderful comments, Drew
LOL In this case the vampire already met the guy, this is just the next leg in their journey together
I'm pleased you like the scene with Mama. You're right, she does come from a time and place where being gay was not acceptable. She is trying, and she may falter again, but she has shown she loves her son.
Thank you for your comments and support Jeff
