    Chapter 19

Fully in the moment... yes I think that accurately describes what happened when the chapter faded to black Thank you for your review and your support, Dugh.

    Chapter 19

It will be a tough road for Liam, and he does know logically what he's getting into, but sometimes attraction supersedes logic and can short out a person's self-preservation. Hahaha can you imagine if Jason brought home a colleague? Oh my! I think Corey was safe though, since it was so late. lol What rug? There's a rug? Thank you for your review and your support, BuffyWillow.

    Chapter 19

Corey does have a flare when it comes to welcoming someone home, doesn't he? The circle of friends may be expanding. We'll have to see how loud Liam becomes again in later chapters Thank you for your review and your support, Def

    Chapter 22 Limbo

Beautifully written, even as it describes to much pain and heartache. Sometimes the hardest stage is that state of limbo, where no one wants to let go, no matter how much your head tries to tell you otherwise.

    Chapter 19

Sexually frustrated hockey players can be fun to write about I actually have some ideas for a possible off-shoot story... we'll where it goes Thank you for your review and your support, Puppi.

    Chapter 19

I believe you're right about Liam and Alek. It's never easy when one partner is in the closet. It can lead to a lot of tears and heartache. "Gilt-edged" I like that Thank you for your review and your support, Parker

    Chapter 19

I really like Liam, and he wanted some attention in this chapter. He was pretty insistent. I also wanted to show a little bit Corey with friends outside of Jason. Although he and Jason have gotten very close, its never healthy to be joined at the hip 24/7. Corey did accept the reason for Jason's lateness without question. It seems they've come a long way from Corey's distrust. Thank you for your review and your support, Gary.

Who wouldn't like to be welcomed home by a hot, naked guy? Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Chapter 19

I've known lawyers (mostly junior lawyers on big criminal or litigation cases) to sleep on their couches in the weeks before court and have family bring them fresh clothes in the morning. Luckily Jason should never have to do that, but he will work some late nights. I think, judging by the welcome home he received, so far Corey is pretty understanding.

    Chapter 19

Chapter 19 Corey smiled when he heard the phone buzz in his office. It must be Jason confirming whether he could make it tonight. After a wonderful couple of days with each other, the real world, with jobs and clients, made itself known. The lawyer called Corey earlier to tell him one of his deals was falling apart, and needed some attention. They’d planned to have dinner then go to see the new Underworld movie. Neither was sure they were going to like the film, but it was still fun to

    Love Lost

Marriage can be hard work, especially if you leave the tending for too long. I agree with Puppi... The disconnect can be slow and insidious. We may not see how far we've drifted apart until the distance is almost insurmountable. It's wonderful that you and Michael recognized the distance and have made an effort to bring that closeness back.
  12. First things first... HE CAME FOR KELLAR!! *happy dance* Now for the rest of my review. This was a really hard chapter to read. I just wanted to hug Kellar. He was in so much pain, and I can understand why he felt the need to leave. As far as he was concerned Tobyn had made his feelings clear. Who would want to stay where they believe they're not wanted? Then, after all of that internal pain, he gets trapped by that horrible man. I can't imagine how he felt... not only had us mate rejected him, but he thought he was going to die. In the end T came back, and saved his mate... now if only he can get his head out of his ass and accept the mate that loves him and not just want him for a good night's sleep.

They are finally a couple and no one is more pleased than the two of them Thank you for you review and your support, tim.

    Chapter 18

Haha I felt bad for Jason, but I laughed too. He just wanted to get the heck out of there, but you're right... everyone wants to talk and wish each other a happy New Year right after midnight. He should count himself lucky he got out of there when they did Now that you mention it I have a mental image of Liz when Drew went completely mental over the news Thank you for your review and your support, B

    Chapter 18

I'm looking forward to writing about the cabin. When the three friends are together in my head, it can get pretty boisterous. Add Jason into the mix and it should be a very interesting trip. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 18

The talk with Drew was one of my favourite scenes to write, so I'm happy you enjoyed reading it. To Drew, Corey is as close as a brother to him, so it would make him happy to have two important people in his life happy. Thank you for your review and your support, Def.

    Chapter 18

One of the things I've learned over the years is that communication is very important to a relationship. Jason found this out the hard way with Luc and doesn't want to make the mistake of taking things for granted again. Corey has always known how important communication is, but sometimes his judgement is clouded by his emotions. Both men are only human though and will make mistakes along the way. Thank you for your review and your support, Reader.

    Chapter 18

One thing about Jason is that when he decides to commit to something, he gives it his all. Up to now that mostly meant work, and family, but there was also the start of that kind of commitment with Luc. He wanted to make sure that Corey understood how much the relationship meant to him and to make sure that Corey felt the same. He has already been burned once because of lack of communication and is trying not to make the same mistakes he’s made before. Thank you for another wonderful review and all of your support, Gary

    Chapter 18

Sometimes the people involved are the last to know, right? Jason is very serious about this relationship. The idea of a serious relationship with Luc made him realize that he was ready to settle down, even if the reality of Luc soured him a little. Thank you for another great review and your support, Spikey.

    Chapter 18

Chapter 18 Jason was going to lose his damned mind. It had been over half an hour since they decided to leave, and they hadn’t made it to the exit. Why did everyone want to talk to them now? Corey’s laugh pulled him from his internal grumbling. “All right, Kev. We’ll see you later. Enjoy the rest of your night.” “Night, Cor. Jason, thanks again for dancing with Sonia. You saved my two left feet from having to get up there.” As Kevin waved and wandered away, Jason gripped Corey’s

    Chapter 16

I agree with you... Jason's forgiveness needed some tempering. Although he understands why Corey would react the way he did, it doesn't mean he's going to accept that everything Corey's dad does will come down on his head. Thank you so much for your review, Tim, and I'm sorry it took so long to respond.
  25. Well damn.... the timing of that forced reveal sucked. I know Keller feels terrible about this coming out publicly, but he was shoved up there to speak to the pack and was painted into a corner with all of the questions. I know Tobyn was blindsided, again, but he really needs to stop dealing with his problems by walking away. At the very least he could have asked Keller to meet him at his place to talk, instead of leaving the guy hanging... again. I do understand where T is coming from, but HE needs to do a better job of understanding K. K isn't used to packs, or even having a family. He hasn't had to explain himself to anyone in a long time. Another wonderful, rant worthy chapter, my friend. Biting my nails, waiting for next Monday.
