I love to read what you write, and although I'm not a poetry expert I can see that what you write means a great deal to you and comes from sometimes painful places inside of you . Like others, I hope you change your mind and continue to grace us with your words, but ultimately, this has to be for you and no one else. Make the decision that is best for you.

I am so happy that Tobyn finally explained his reaction to the news about K and T being mates. His explanation makes sense, given what we know about him. He had carefully laid plans and a belief system firmly entrenched. Finding out there are earth mates and HIS was a man, no matter how much he was attracted to that man, would crumble the reality he carefully crafted for himself. I hope this experiences teaches him to stop using running away as his go to response. k is a very understanding man, and if asked, he would give T space to process, as long as he knows the guy isn't going far and will be coming back later to talk. I also kind of get why he didn't realize they were mates.... There was some willful ignorance there. He knew he was attracted but refused to allow himself to exam why he was attracted so quickly and developed feelings so quickly. Again, I hope this experience teaches him to have more of an open mind. He's right though... they're young and he will probably do something bone-headed again The two young earth mates will be good for the pack. How old are they again? I guess right now they feel drawn to each other as best friends, and after their shift those feelings will develop into something more? What can I say? When these two decide to resolve issues, they go all out Corey did know he was wrong, but I don't think he ever thought Jason would know and he'd have time to ease his mom into this... Maybe he was delusional about that, but he thought he was doing what was best. When Jason found out, Corey did what he had to to fix it. They admitted they loved the each other to themselves, but not to each other. Jason was talking things slow, and was protecting himself too. Corey did hurt him over Christmas so he's naturally cautious. Corey would take things slow, not wanting Jason to think he's rushing. Jason does learn some lessons well and he learned with Luc how important communication was. He didn't want to make a decision without giving Corey a chance to explain, but he was ready to walk away if he felt like he had to. One of the things I've learned over the years in my marriage is that the other person can't read your thoughts, nor should they be expected to. Jason learned the hard way with Luc what happens if both partners don't communicate and aren't on the same page. He loves Corey, so he was willing to hear the man out. If Corey wasn't willing to be honest about them, then he would have had to decide if he could live with that, but at least he would know where he stood in the relationship. I like that both men were comfortable enough in the relationship that no one jumped to conclusions or made insecure assumptions. Corey seems to have finally realized that 20 year old Jason and this Jason are not the same guy, and I don't think that Jason has ever been the jealous type, and he already trusts Corey. Thank God Tobyn pulled his head out of his ass in time! I was worried he would start back-peddling again and try to distance himself from having a mate, but he really stepped up here. Not only did he bust a hump to get back to Kellar, he assured the man he was done running now and was going to stop denying their connection. Heck he didn't even take Kellar's "blood brother" easy out. I was proud of him in this chapter. I was imaging the scolding he received from the women of the pack. I think Keller may still going to have some moments of doubt... He was denied by his mate and hurt, but they are definitely on the right path now. I worry about them leaving "evidence" behind. I can't see that hunter going after Kellar without telling his nephew. He hasn't been alive and didn't make that many kills by being stupid cocky. Hopefully the added strength of having two mated pairs will give the pack enough strength in the inevitable fight. Wonderful, felling good about the future, chapter, Gary

Sometimes what we mean to write isn't always what appears on the page. Although you might not always write about ''pretty" things, you put a lot of yourself on that page, and I, as a reader, appreciate that effort.

I do adore your love poems to Mike. They always make me smile for the rest of the day.

I really enjoyed all of the scenes you've described, but I think my favourite was Craig's confrontation with Carley. For so many years he'd allowed her to get her way and take the lead, and in that moment he not only stood up for himself, but for the man he loves as well... it also allowed him to take another step out of the grief that consumed him for so long. It showed amazing growth and strength in his character.
