    Chapter 22

I think Pierre has to be rattled after that incident, but he does have David to talk to and help him through his feelings about being grabbed. Thank you for your support and your review, Lux

    Chapter 22

Thank you, Parker I think everyone was watching both Jason and Corey closely. Their history isn't a secret, so people this is a big change for Corey, and his relationship with Jason. Luckily, the opinions so far seem to reflect well on Jason Thank you for your review and your support, Parker

    Chapter 22

Unfortunately, homophobes do exist, and can ruin a perfectly good evening. Luckily this encounter ended without too much trouble. This could have ended a lot worse. I'm sure David has fantasized about what he wanted to do to the guy who hurt Pierre. Thank you for your review and your support, long1jo.

    Chapter 22

David has been told what happened many years ago, but he also has heard about the apology to Pierre and observed Jason with his own eyes. David is not the type to hold grudges, or quickly judge. I think the fact that Pierre believed Jason was sincere also went a long way to fostering their friendship. Although Jason has never really analyzed his feelings, he's always held Corey above almost anyone else in his life. Corey's opinion means a lot to him, and his actions (except for his cheating, which blew up so spectacularly in his face) shows how high he holds Corey's opinion of him. Thank you for another wonderful review and your support, Gary

No, I don't think bushy beard guy would want to meet up with David, if he knows whats good for him. Liz is a pretty perceptive gal and she genuinely likes her brother in law. I think her regard will help Jason's road to forgiving himself now that everyone else has forgiven him. Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Chapter 22

Chapter 22 Jason flipped up his mask and took in the view in front of him. There were only a few cottages on the lake, and no one else appeared to be around this week. It was a peaceful and relaxing location. He could almost imagine it during the summer months, with the sun glinting off the water. “It's beautiful here,” Corey commented from beside him. He turned to grin at the younger man. “It's amazing. I can't believe they're selling.” Their snowmachines were parked behind them, alo
  12. What a wonderful review for a such a deserving poet. tim, you know poetry isn't my favourite genre, but one thing I will say about your work is that it always makes me feel. I may get upset. teary, angry, or laugh until I cry, but everything you write elicits a reaction in me, even if I don't understand, or can't appreciate a poem's technical aspects.
  13. “It would be for the greater good then?” such altruists these two. I'm thrilled with how far T and K have come in such a short amount of time. They've admitted their love for each other and have taken the first big steps to full physical intimacy. I know T has a hard time with change, but he is really trying, for Kellar's sake... and his own. I understand T's fear of not being in control, but sometimes, with love, you just have to let go and free-fall, especially when there is someone like Kellar waiting to catch him. The intensification of their aura's and the fact that they are acting as if they are joined is interesting. I wonder if the strengthened colours will mean that there is even more "dust" to feed the depleted pack when they return? I can't wait until they get back to see what effect this has on the rest of the shifters. Monday is a long way away, but I will try to be patient

    Chapter 21

I would be angry if I were Corey too, but I think he buried that anger because he knew his mother was so isolated in that marriage. Now that she's finally left him he is getting therapy which makes him face those feelings he buried a long time ago. I like the characters too. There are aspects of different friends I've had in each of them. I really love writing about them together. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 21

Jason would be more than happy to take care of Corey, but Corey is also a very independent guy, so it will take some time to find some balance. I hope the holiday will be good for them. I think they deserve some fun times. Thank you for your review and your support, Tim.

The vacation has started well for them. Corey missed his friends more than he likes to admit to himself. Thank you for your review and your support, Puppi.

    Chapter 21

I think realizing he has unresolved anger against his mother threw him for a loop. For most of his life he's known he was angry with his father, but he's never really thought about his feelings towards his mother on the day he was kicked out. It would be a tough position to be in... wanting to help his mom, but also not understanding why she continued to stand beside the man who hurt her and kicked him out. As I said in a previous review response, Jason doesn't want Corey to have any doubts about how Jason feels about him, and I think Corey is actually starting to believe it. thank you for your review and all of your support, spikey.

    Chapter 20

I'm glad you understood where Corey was coming from. He didn't want to hurt Jason, but he didn't want his mom to see him as a hypocrite. As for his mother's reaction, there will likely be more conversations between them in the future Thank you for your review and your support Lisa.

    Chapter 20

Corey is lucky that Jason is determined to keep the communication open, no matter how upsetting the subject. If they were at Corey's, J might have left, but once he calmed down he would have come back. This is too important to Jason to risk a misunderstanding. I think Corey and Jason are happy with the way the chapter ended too Thank you for your review and your support, Tim.
  22. Change that to woman, and that was how I was feeling this week. Getting old and reminded of your own mortality sucks. I think it's only natural to wonder what legacy we will leave behind. The good thing is, we never stop learning, and don't stop growing unless we want to.

    Chapter 21

Thank you, Gary! These friends were close for years before everything fell apart. Pierre might have been new to three musketeers (he joined them in Grade 9) but the whole group was close. Everyone knew that Jason was excluded from the friend group, but Corey also missed not only his friendship with Jason, but being part of that family. He was still friends with Drew, but not having Jason in his life left a big hole in his adopted family. It may not have been mentioned, except in passing, but Corey stopped coming back to town after he was kicked out, so he also missed out on being part of the Sedor family. Thank you for your review and all of your support, Gary.

    Chapter 21

I hope it does help corey to trust in what he and Jason has, but he does still have years of distrust (mostly with his dad) to work through. Luckily, he has sought out help. Corey is more hurt and in need of love than I think Jason realized. I think he gets it now, and that is why he's been so quick to forgive the times that Corey hurt him, but tried to make amends. Jason's "I'm not going anywhere" was another way for him to try to reassure Corey that he can trust what they have... trust him, especially in light of his conversation with Pierre.
