  1. The nightmare poem reminded me of the nightmares i would sometimes have as a kid, and how I would run and leap onto my bed so the monsters underneath couldn't grab my ankles and drag me under. Its amazing what our brains will come up with while we dream. Sadness made me want to give you a hug, since you're too far away, here is my cyberversion

    Chapter 15

Corey did realize what he did, and Pierre gave him the needed kick in the behind to go and make the apology he knew he needed to make. Pierre is a smart and kind-hearted man. He is also coming from the position of being in a stable and happy long term relationship. Would his feelings about Corey and Jason be the same if he was still single? I'm not sure. Jason needed to talk about Luc to someone and who better than the man he has come to care so deeply for? He didn't make excuses and even took some of the blame for the situation, and he is hoping that the knowledge will help Corey get over some of his fears. Thank you for another wonderful review, and all of your support, Gary

    Chapter 15

Jason has doubts because he realizes how deep-seated Corey's trust issues are and how easy it would be for Corey to lash out at him. As I said in my response to C.When, Jason has taken a lot of anger without a word, because of his guilt over Pierre, but he won't allow himself to be blamed for something he didn't do. I completely get where Corey is coming from too. His father really messed with his perspective about commitment and honesty in relationships. His mother also has a big part to play in that as well. Corey, although he might not realize it, sees her forgiveness as weakness. He doesn't want to be weak. Thank you for your review and your support, spikey.

    Chapter 15

I agree with you, it could be disastrous if Corey takes his fears out on Jason again. Jason might feel guilty over what happened and has taken a lot of anger because of it, but he won't put up with being blamed for something he didn't do. Thank you for your review and your support, C.When

    Chapter 15

I imagine you're not the only one who would have hoped for Jason to slam that door first. Jason does have very strong feelings for Corey and I don't think he's ready to give up on this yet. Luckily, he is taking his time and not rushing headlong into anything. Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Chapter 15

Both men want each other, but they're smart enough to realize that its too soon to take that big of a step. At this point I think they both just needed to feel the other one close to them. They are not out of the woods yet, but the hurdles they built themselves seem to be out of the way now. Thank you for your review and your support, lux

    Chapter 15

Chapter 15 “What are you doing here?” Jason asked, looking confused and not quite awake. “It's almost two in the morning.” “Can I come in?” Corey pleaded softly. “Please? I need to talk to you… to explain.” Jason considered him for a moment before opening the door wider and motioning him inside. “What’s there to explain? I thought you made yourself pretty clear.” The door closed behind Corey, cutting off the icy wind, but it did nothing to dispel the chill in the room. Corey wince
  13. It sounds like Tilly and Adelin are both very bright and observant women. I'm not sure what Tilly's saying to Tobyn, but I suspect she's standing up for herself in some way. Either she's telling him to choose and and commit, or she's telling him they need to stay as friends, but not in a relationship. That said, I can't imagine her, from what I've seen of her so far, making Tobyn choose between her and Kellar, but I can see her reminding him what's at stake with the pack... If that means "great your head on straight and go on your mission like you need you and shelve your feelings for the healer," we'll have to wait to find out (because you're cruel and won't post daily ) I suspected K might make the choice not to leave just yet. Besides his feelings for T, he's also a healer and he knows he's needed. I still think T has an easier time with everything. he's not the one faced with the prospect of a future watching his love with another.

    Chapter 14

What Corey said was rude and cruel. He does need to apologize. The question is, will he do it before too much time has passed or too much damage has been done? Thank you for your review and your support, B. Is it bad that I love that this made you so mad?

    Chapter 14

Corey did have an awful reaction, and it was tough on Jason, but Corey isn't a bad guy. He's going to have to look at what happened and examine why he did it, and Jason is going to have to decide if he can accept any apology that Corey might give. Both men have some thinking to do and decisions to make. As for the bribe? I think you'll have to talk to my editor Thank you for your review and your support, BuffyWillow

    Chapter 14

well I do have to try to live up to the title I feel bad for Jason too. He was prepared to at least be a friend, but even that was thrown back at him. That had to hurt. Thank you for your review and your support, Spikey

    Chapter 14

You're exactly right, Dugh. If Corey doesn't resolve his issues and they get involved, there are always going to be doubts that could cause them to crash and burn. Sometime's phobias can be irrational, and I think Corey's phobia is causing him to view the world through that lens.. including Jason. Thank you for your review and your support, Dugh.

    Chapter 14

Learned helplessness... I can see that, but to be fair to her, she has tried to protect Corey from this by not discussing her marriage with her son. She should know though, that he picks up on her mood and knows what's going on. The fact that Corey's actions make people angry actually makes me happy, because it means that people care about the characters As much as I do Thank your for your review and your support. I hope I hear from you again

    Chapter 14

Emotional reaction are often not the most rational. Corey saw his mom hurting, hates his dad and Jason, who has cheated before, was an easy target for his frustration. Was it right? No. Does Corey need to apologize? Definitely. Will he? Now that's an answer for a different chapter. Thank you for your review and your support, Parker

    Chapter 14

It can be tough to have a character make decisions we wouldn't agree with, but I'm pleased that his actions make sense, based on what we know about him. Corey's not a cruel person, but he was cruel to Jason. We'll see if he pulls his head out of the sand and seeks forgiveness. Thank you for another great review and your constant support, Gary.

    Chapter 14

Thank you Geemeedee I wanted to have each character act and react true to form and I'm thrilled you think they do. I know I hate when I read a story and think "_________ never would have done that/said that". Corey did act like the Corey in my head would act, no matter how much his actions might make the reader curse him. Thank you for your review and your support
