    Chapter 14

As I said in my reply to lux, this was a conversation Jason and Corey haven't had. Corey hates talking about his parents and Jason never wanted to push. Maybe it's time he did? Thank you for your review and your support, Reader

    Chapter 14

Thank you I think the crash was inevitable. This was one thing that Corey and Jason have never addressed and it was bound to come out sooner or later. Thank you for your review and your support, Lux

    Chapter 14

Chapter 14 Jason poked at his food, not really hungry, but knowing it would be rude to leave the table. “Are you okay, honey?” His mom’s concern was evident in her voice. “I’m fine.” He pasted on a smile and looked up at the worried faces of his family. He had come home earlier that day, and knew he’d been lousy company from the moment he arrived. All he could think about was Corey. When the handsome brunette had kissed him, he’d been caught off guard, but thrilled. In his wildest

    Chapter 13

We'll have to see what the new year brings. Jason felt that he was right to wait too. Finally getting together with Corey might have been physically satisfying, but he knows what he's risking if they aren't careful at this stage of their new relationship. Thank you for your review and your support, tim.
  5. OMG tim's turkey baster comment had me crying with laughter! That was great As much as I understand where Tobyn is coming from, he frustrates me. I honestly think if he knew he and Keller were earth mates it would actually strengthen his resolve to keep their distance. After what happened when Fendral lost his mate, he sees an earth mate as a potential liability, not a blessing, and I think K realized that during their conversation in the truck. Eventually I believe the pull is going to be too strong to ignore, but how much damage to their hearts is he going to do while he tries to walk away... or let K leave? K frustrates me for a lot of the same reasons. They're both good men, trying to do the right thing, and ripping each other, and themselves, apart in the process. I can't wait to see what this road trip brings. The proximity is only going to strengthen the bond their hearts feel, regardless of how stubborn their minds are.

    Chapter 13

I have a friend who went through a similar situation. its a terrible thing to have to go through, and I'm sorry that you know what that feels like first hand Right now I think Corey's mom just wants to get away from the situation, and forget for a while. Don't worry, I can't see Corey letting her walk away without at least getting her fair share in a settlement. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 13

For me, it's the little things that can really make or break relationships. Shared memories and shared interests can add wonderful dimension to a couple. There a lot of questions they still need to address and I think they realize that. the newness is exciting, but something as simple as 'do we tell people now or later?' Is very important not to assume. Thank you for your support and your review, Tim.

    Chapter 13

Jason has matured and changed a lot where relationships are concerned. Corey has seen that, but whether or not his father's behaviour affects their new relationship remains to be seen. Corey is a smart man, but emotional responses don't often have anything to do with intelligence. Thank you for your review and all of your unwavering support, Gary.

    Chapter 13

Unfortunately, Christmas together will likely not happen now. Corey knows his mom needs him. I hope he sees that Jason is not his dad too. Corey carries a lot of anger and resentment where his dad is concerned, and he has to work it out at some point. Thank you for your review and your support, Def.

    Chapter 13

Corey's mom put up with a lot and it seems like this might be her last straw. I agree that she would be in a better place if she stays gone from that man. Jason did show a lot of restraint, although I don't think his body was 100% on board with his mind Thank you for your review and your support, Dugh

    Chapter 13

They are talking about their issues, and that is a very good thing. I think both of these men want to make sure they do this right. Whether or not Corey's dad's latest indiscretion will cause him to pull away remains to be seen. A lot of his reaction to Jason back then had to do with his dad, so he will be affected in some way by this. Thank you for your review and your support, Spikey

    Chapter 13

Life does have a tendency to make itself known when we least expect it, doesn't it? And who knows what would have happened if those lights hadn't come on. Thank you for your review and your support, Parker

Luckily he didn't elaborate about why he wanted to cancel their plans, so he might not have as much to explain, except that he was able to get away Thank you for your review and your support, Puppi

    Chapter 13

It did take a lot of control for Jason to walk away, but he wouldn't want to risk screwing this up by rushing. It means too much to him... and he isn't that hormone driven young man anymore. Thank you for your review and your support, Lux.

    The Jar

Ooooo I loved this! You appealed to my inner horror and spook lover. It's a wonderful Halloween tale in July. Thank you for this, Tim

    Do No Harm

A dark, but wonderfully crafted tale. I can understand why John felt like he had no choice but to kill Jack. The man was crazy, and there was no way he would have let John leave to go to the police. I'm with Gary, I was ready for him to die by the time John finally did it. Wonderful story telling, my friend. (Sorry for the late review by the way. I don't know how I missed this one )

    Chapter 9

Uncle Radford sounds like he's going to be a challenge, but he might be able to help wade through some of the medical jargon for Deke. So I guess the alpha mantle is passed from father to son and not to any brothers the current alpha might have? Or is it a chosen successor? If that's the case and Deke's father chose him, I can see that pissing off his uncle. Although I'm sure the details are going to be tough, it will be good to learn more about what the doctor was trying to do. Maybe there are even clues about who was helping him? Once again Park seems protective of this human werekin. Very interesting.

    Epilogue

Something I've read over and over is not to put too much detail into a sci-fi world. With this being not only my first sci-fi, but also my first posted story, I tried to be careful to add detail, but not so much as to overwhelm or bog down the reader... or come across as a science lesson. I learned a lot from the process and hope that my next sci-fi story will reflect all of the things I've learned. The vampires in my world are really only named such because they do have fangs and drink blood. In other respects, except for a moderate increase in strength, they are intentionally like the humans they are descended from. Thank you for reading and for your insights. I hope you enjoy the second half of the story.

    Chapter 12

Corey does seem pretty obvious about his desire to be around Jason doesn't he? Chapter 13 has been posted now, so you can see if you were right about your predictions Thank you for your support and your review, Tim.

    Chapter 12

I think Jason has really matured as well. It's taken Corey some time, but I think he's seeing Jason as he is now, not as he was then. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 13

Chapter 13 Corey tried not to be disappointed. He shouldn’t want Jason to kiss him, but when they were lying in the snow that was exactly what he’d hoped. When Jason had been hovering over him, pinning him to the ground, he could have sworn, despite their thick coats, that he felt the man’s hardon pressing against his stomach. It took a great deal of effort not to continue to buck up against the muscular body and seek friction against his own hard cock. Cursing his stupidity, he pulled of
