    Chapter 9

Once they both let down their guards, their friendship is natural and fun to write about. Their interactions make me smile because I can almost picture them teasing each other on the field. Thank you for your review, and a great endorsement, Dugh.

    Chapter 9

Honestly, I think Jason is afraid to spook Corey by pushing too hard so he's allowing Corey to set the pace of their friendship. Jason is protective, but he knows Corey is able to take care of himself, and probably needed to with Zach. Thank you for another great review and all of your support, Gary.

    Chapter 9

They are taking baby steps. Jason is so happy that Corey is giving him the time of day at all that baby steps are an improvement from the last eight years. I come from a pretty small town, but I've run into people from back home when I was visiting Toronto, and even Ottawa, so running into someone when you live in the same city just seemed natural. Thank you for your review and your support, Reader.

    Chapter 9

lol so I guess you're not going to be heading up Jason's fan club any time soon? I wouldn't say Jason is a stalker. You have to realize, the downtown business core in Kingston isn't large. Both of their workplaces would be within blocks of each other, and their homes are only a few kilometers apart. That would mean they would have a greater chance of running into one another, especially at locations like coffee shops. As for being on the same team, I didn't really elaborate on the players who how to bow out, but they were on the same team, and Jason and Corey replaced them. Thank you for your review and your continued support of the story.

    Chapter 9

Chapter 9 Corey jogged down the steps, hiking his bag up to his shoulder. He was in a better mood than he remembered being for quite some time. The sun was shining and the air, though warm, held the promise of the coming fall. The university’s orientation didn’t start for another week, but already there were trailers full of furniture, and the excited faces of this year’s crop of students descending on the city. Zach was still grouchy whenever he’d seen the man, but Corey had given up tr

    Chapter 20

They seem to be getting more comfortable with each other, which is great. I think it would be great for Daniel to have another champion that's not one of his brothers. It might help to draw him out of his shell and maybe gain some confidence.

    For Orlando

Sad, but beautiful, tim. It was a lovely tribute to those who should always be remembered.
  9. A little more information about the pack and the malaise in this chapter. I'm not sure if its a good thing that its not a disease, or not. If it was a disease there's a chance that Kelllar could heal them. On the other hand, if its not a disease, and his presence helps Tobyn, then maybe the same could be said for the pack as a whole... making it a better and better idea for Kellar to stay So far I really like Tobyn's mother. She's kind, protective and caring, of both her son and the pack. I can see where Tobyn gets his sense of duty from. The fact that she made Kellar feel so welcome also increased her goodness in my eyes. I almost forgot about Tilly. I am hoping that her frown is concern over her sister and what brought Tobyn back so quickly, and not seeing the hug. I would prefer her not to be jealous, and only in the relationship with Toby because it's expected, not because she has deep feelings for him. Fingers crossed!

    Chapter 18 Why?

We—are never, ever, ever—going away We are family... and stronger than our enemies, because our strength lies in love... not hate.... Two very powerful... one as part of the poem, and the other as a statement of what we need to remember right now. We are more powerful together. Although I fear for friends more that I did two days ago, I will be the first to walk with them as they hold hands down the street, or hug as they say hello, and even to dance in a place that should have always meant safety, but will continue to mean love and acceptance.
  11. A wonderful Michael chapter! Thank you, Tim I love how both Patrick and Michael are working so hard to communicate with each other. It tells me how much they mean to each other. Peter's mother makes me angry. I can't stand it when people try to use children to push their own agendas. If Peter's mother has an issue with something that Peter is doing in Michael's upbringing, then talk to Peter, not Michael. That little boy didn't need to be put in that position. Ok rant over. Thank you for adding a little sweetness and light to an otherwise dark day.
  12. Well said, Steve So many lives lost to senseless hatred.
  13. I absolutely loved this! The Imp was such a brat! haha He really knew how to get under Angie's skin. I have a feeling that Angel enjoyed the teasing, in spite of himself. I also loved the assignments they were sent on, and how they figured out a way to work together and still accomplish their goals. In a way I wish you had let us see what happened when they woke up, but it really is better this way. We can imagine what happened, but it also leaves the door open for you to continue their story in the future, if you want. Great story, Tim! I'll be seeing these two in a new light now every time we hear from them in C&C.

    Chapter 8

Thank you! I struggle with pacing sometimes... wanting the plot to move along, but at the same time not wanting to rush the story. I'm very pleased you like how it's developed so far. Thank you for your review and your support, Cole

    Adam

This made me so achingly sad for Adam. I want to hug him and try to make things better in his life. No one should have to go through that much pain. I hope Oliver is all right, but the guy must be devastated, witnessing someone he loves being hurt that way. A wonderfully written, if hard to read story, Adi.

Jason has come a long way and I think Corey is starting to let himself see that. I've got the silk rope. You're welcome to borrow it Thank you for your review and your support, Def

*snicker* Yeah, I'm sure the noose is in a handy location Turning down Marco was a big step for Jason. I'm pleased you saw that. Thank you for continuing on this ride. I appreciate the support

    Chapter 8

No, Marco wasn't super sleezy. He's interested in a casual relationship, but he didn't make that a secret. At one point in his life Jason would have been all over (pardon the pun) that offer. As I said in my response to Gary's review. If Jason felt more about Corey than has been said, that may come out the more time they spend together. Elephants... so many elephants... Thank you for your review and your support, spikey.

    Chapter 8

I don't think Marco is necessarily a bad guy and he was pretty up front about his intentions, even if they don't mesh with what Jason was looking for. Thank you for your review and your support, Puppi.

    Chapter 8

It's possible that Corey knows Marco, although it's possible their circle of friends aren't the same. I think a big part of Jason turning down Marco was his not wanting a relationship based solely on sex. Thank you for your review and your support, Tim.

    Chapter 8

hehe I had some fun friends?? And the crave reference made me giggle As for how deep Jason's feeling were for Corey back then, I think the time they start spending together will make it clearer how they once felt about each other. Thank you for another great review and all of your support, Gary.

    Chapter 8

I think for Jason, sleeping with Marco would have been like a step backwards for him. He moved out of Toronto to get away from that scene and to make some changes in his life. He may have made some crappy decisions in his past, but he's pretty determined once he makes up his mind about something. Hmmm maybe he will need a visit to his physiotherapist Thank you for your review and your support, lux_apollo
