    Chapter 10

No one is as stealthy as they think they are... especially when in comes to feelings. Funny how the people directly involved are sometimes the last to know Jason's feelings may be more intense right now, but I think that Corey has even considered Jason romantically since he came back into his life. Thank you for your review and your support, Dr.P.

    Chapter 10

Maybe having someone else notice the looks he gives Corey will force him to face how he's feeling? He doesn't want to spook his friend, but the more time they spend together, the more obvious its likely to become. Thank you for your review and your support, Parker.

    Chapter 10

He may be in luuuurrrrv... but I don't think he's ready to even contemplate that possibility right now. Sometimes outsiders notice things that we don't see ourselves. I think that's what happened in this case. What will that knowledge do to Jason's behaviour? That is yet to be seen. Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Chapter 10

Thank you for the vote of confidence, Dugh. Jason is really afraid to mess up and lose what he's managed to rebuilt with Corey. Others noticing his behaviour would naturally spook him because he knows what he lost before. Thank you for your review and your support, Dugh.

Still no love for Jase, eh? Thank you for your review and your continued support, jaysalmn

    Chapter 6

I'm so happy they talked and set things straight between them. I was worried one of them would try to be noble and walk away without ever talking to the other. Now on to starting to enjoy the bond between them

    Chapter 10

Chapter 10 Jason had woken up Saturday morning feeling muscles he’d forgotten existed. It’d been years since he’d played ball, and his body was letting him know about it. Sitting in the grass, he stretched out the tightness. They had two games today, with one being against Corey’s ex’s team. After the altercation last night, Jason had asked around, and it was confirmed Zach was playing in the tournament. When he’d let Corey know, the brunette shrugged as if it was no big deal, but Jason

    Chapter 9

Zach seeing Jason do something as intimate as putting his hand on Corey's back would set him off. He may not have valued the relationship while he was in it, but not having any competition will also make some people complacent. I agree that both Corey and Jason are maturing and that is helping them to rebuild their friendship. Thank you for your review and your support, Parker.

    Chapter 9

The past can be a lonely place to live. If Corey can let the past go, he can move on, one way or another. Thank you for your review and your support

    Chapter 8

Thank you, tim! Sex is everywhere, and if Jason wants a hook-up I doubt he'd have much trouble finding one. You're right, finding someone who wants the same things you do? That can be tough. Thank you for your review and your support.
  11. I think it's sweet that Nelson brought Eric to a restaurant that seems to mean so much to his family, and It was great that Eric seemed to realize why Nelson brought him there as well. Although they are teenagers, with a teenager's raging hormones, they balance it well with maturity and an understanding of what their partner might be feeling. Great Date Night Part 1!
  12. Oh this made me so sad. I had a feeling that Tobyn's sense of duty was going to prevent him from exploring his feelings for Kellar. Kellar is also far too noble and good to consider trying to poach someone he thinks belongs to another, no matter how much he may want him. My hope is that after spending time together, helping the pack, that their bond will be strong enough for Tobyn to not be able to let Kellar go when the time comes. It's going to be painful for both men though, as they get to know and like each other more and more with the belief that they can never be anything more than friends. I do like Tilly so far though. She is obviously concerned about her sister and wants her to get better. It's hard to root against someone you actually like, but I will find a way

    Chapter 9

Thank you, Spikey. I really enjoyed writing this chapter. Jason's intimacy with Corey is instinctual and comes from their past friendship. Now that they're around each other again, and Corey doesn't hate him, that closeness is bleeding back into their interactions. Zach... is Zach. People like him generally have a hard time leaving well enough alone. Thank you for great review and your support.

Corey is trying to listen to his friends' advice I think. He wants to at least put the anger behind him. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 5

Sometimes children don''t appreciate the toys they have until someone else wants to play with them... I think that's what happened here. And the age analogy fits Zach too Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 3

Thank you, Lisa! I really appreciate the review. Jason has really matured. Sometimes it takes something bad happening to give you some perspective. Although Jason knew he screwed up, he didn't know how he actually made Pierre feel until that moment. That can be an eye opener. Thank you again for your review. It was great!

    Chapter 9

Douche-nozzle? I love that Jason's protectiveness comes pretty naturally to him. He'd tried to protect Corey (and Drew) since the boys were 4. Thank you for your review and your support, BuffyWillow.

    Chapter 9

I think Jason is scared to make a wrong move with Corey, and doesn't want to push too hard. I can guarantee that Jason is deliberately trying to be in the same place at the same time as Corey. It's just something that happens when you work within blocks of someone. I do agree though that Jason is allowing Corey to set the pace and call the shots when they do meet. I didn't elaborate about what the other coach said, but I'd imagine its about his behaviour since he did look chagrined. Thank you for your review and your support, Tim

    Summer rain

This makes me long for warm summer rain. I remember when my kids were little, dancing in the rain was one of their favourite things to do. Thank you for bringing those memories back

    Chapter 9

I'm not sure Corey was necessarily stressed with Zach, as much as he just wasn't happy or fulfilled in the relationship. As for Zach being trouble waiting to happen? There is always that chance. Thank you for your review and your support, Def.

    Chapter 9

Although Zach is based on one person in particular, I do know a few people who have similar traits. Corey's grudge has been in suspended animation until now. It's easy to ignore something when its not 'in your face' every day. The same can be said of his feelings about his father. Its not going to be easy for him to do now that he sees the man fairly regularly. Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Chapter 9

I think the actual physical distance between them made it easier for Corey to continue to hold a grudge. With them being in the same city now, and running into each other, it's harder to remain aloof and unaffected... it also reminds him what he really misses about his friend. Corey is a submissive in relationships... I hadn't really thought about it, but yes, I think you have a good point. He does take a fairly submissive roll in romantic relationships. Thank you for your insightful review and your support, Dr. P.

    Chapter 9

Zach is an idiot, and a brave drunk. As I said in an response several chapters ago, Zach is actually based on someone I know in real life, and he was a jerk when he was drinking too. Now that Corey is relaxing and letting the friendship happen, they are starting to get back to the easy, familiar interactions, although they are older now, so jumping across a couch to noogie a younger sibling "might" not happen now Thank you for your review, and your support, Drew.

    Chapter 9

Corey tries so hard to not think about his father that I don't think he even realizes how much the man has affected his perceptions of other people. Maybe a talk will help? Thank you for your review and your support, birthday girl
