lol yes it would appear that you're one of the lone anti-Jason holdouts. It is great to get a different perspective on Jason though and see where the holes are in the story. What is in my head is more detailed where Jason is concerned. In my head, Jason did try to find Corey and Pierre at certain points, but Drew refused to talk about Corey or Pierre with him. After being shut down he stopped trying. I mentioned in an earlier chapter that Drew wouldn't talk to Jason about his friends but I obviously wasn't clear on this point and will have to think about going back and adding more detail. I believe you're right and Corey is seeing Jason in a new light... but also with the good things he remembered from when they were younger. I think Jason realizes how big of a chasm he'd have to cross for Corey to ever contemplate a relationship with him, and that's why he doesn't want Corey to know about his attraction. I'm so relieved that Kellar was able to save Adelin.. not only for Adelin's sake, but because it would have likely torn Kellar up inside to lose the girl. I know that he won't be able to heal everyone he tries to help, but losing a 'patient' so early into his (can you say healing career?) might have made him question himself and his abilities. I was wondering the same thing as a few other reviewers... did it have to be Tobyn's energy specifically, or could Kellar have drawn on anyone's energy? I suspect there may be a conversation about that at some point. although, would Keller really know or was his request instinctual? Although we think that Kellar and Tobyn's feelings for each other are pretty obvious I wonder if Tilly would notice? Her attention was pretty squarely on her sister, so I'm not entirely sure she would have noticed if Tobyn and Kellar kissed, much less held hands. We'll just have to wait for future chapters to see what, if anything, she observes between them. Now that Kellar has healed Adelin is he going to try to leave and save himself from heartache? I get why he would want to leave, but I just don't think the healer in him will allow him to leave this pack until he figures out this malaise. I know Tobyn wants to do the right thing by his pack, but his attraction, and apparently his need to be close to Kellar, is going to make it really hard for either man to walk away from each other. I think the parents are handling this relationship well. Having teenagers myself, I understand the desire to pretend your kids are virginal until they're married, but it's unrealistic. By giving the boys a little bit of trust, it encourages them to act more responsibly and to being open with communication... at least it will with Nelson and Eric. Oh and I've never known that gelato could be so hot!

I would guess that Zach was always kind of a jerk, but is acting even worse now... especially if he did notice the attention Jason was giving Corey. As for the crush? Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa.

I don't think Corey is naive or overly forgiving when it comes to Zach, I just don't think he cares (or ever really cared) about the guy, so it's easy to dismiss him. Remember... when Zach shoved him, he did fight back. After the slide, he wasn't hurt (luckily) and that play won them the game. For him it was no harm done, and their team won, so he was willing to let it go for the sake of peace. You're right, if Jason does start to act strangely, Corey will likely notice... who knows what he'd make of that behaviour. Thank you for your review and your continued support, Tim.

I think blaming this on 'not getting laid' in a while is a convenient explanation for Jason. He might not want to examine those potentially disastrous (in his mind) attraction to his friend. Corey notices the protectiveness (eg at the bar), and he hasn't seemed overly bothered by it, but that might also be because Jason has tried to let Corey deal with Zach on his own terms. I think Jason wants to believe his reaction is just because he's missing sex. Anything else, in his mind, would complicate things, and potentially send Corey out of his life again. Corey's reaction would be interesting to know though I wouldn't be surprised if a lot more people noticed Jason's
