    Chapter 45

    Making memories.
  2. Thanks. Sounds interesting.
  3. Yesterday I hung two 150 year old doors to divide my tack room from my barn. So much work. I had to reframe everything and trim down the sides and bottom of the doors. It was something I started probably twenty years ago, but never got done. The doors have been leaning against the wall and mocking me this whole time. My tack room will become the garbage and recycling room since I don't need it for tack anymore. It has a door to the outside, so it will be very convenient.
  4. G'day, people... and others.
  5. Blame Alaska. Hope you get relief soon. Hi, Mum!
  6. Greetings to the unwashed masses.
  7. Thank you, Frank! It's been three years since a comment has brought me back to this story. It's always been a favorite of mine, but I have written a lot more stories since, including an entry in the recent anthology. I have also written four multi-chapter westerns which have been extremely popular. I hope you will check them out, and I'm pleased to hear I am up there with your favorite writers. Thanks again, friend, and please remember that we authors love getting Story Reviews in the Review section. They tend to bring new readers. Cheers! Gary....
  8. I really need boots for going out in my woods with my dog. I have three winter coats I've had for years. It's great to have in case one gets wet.
  9. Um... definitely.
  10. I bought two pairs of winter boots today. One is heavier, warmer, but clunkier. The other is really tall, and my calf actually slides right in. Yeah, I have big calves from years of running, biking, riding... and eating. So they will be great for deep snow and walking in the woods... and driving. The heavy ones will be great when I work in the barn for long periods of time... toasty. Thank you for your attention on this matter.
  11. Hello to the misfit gang! Chilly, sunny day here.

    Chapter 44

Now they have two magnificent studios to share. Road trip!
  13. Stay tuned.
  14. To be completely honest, Lewis intrigues me too. What Gran did to him was almost as heartless. She took away Lewis's best friend at a time he was opening his heart. What her attack must have done to the poor boy who crossed the street to avoid what was probably the first boy he kissed. Did he close himself up forever?
  15. Imaginative story well worth a read. T the very least it will make you smile. Cheers!

    Skee and Zipi

Awww... so charming. I loved this little fable. I'm a sucker for enemies becoming friends... wish it happened more in real life. I could see this being a series. Thank you for making me smile. Cheers!
  17. Thanks for the support, Bendtedwreath! I won't deny it hasn't crossed my mind. Grandpa intrigues me, and like Sheriff Willard in "Sidewinder" who intrigued me too, he's one I could see delving into. Time will tell. Why should we have to feel guilty for who we are? Moss should have been able to explore his feelings as a gay man, and no one should have the power to destroy that or take away his innocence. Gran was a monster. He needed a Lincoln, he needed Link, someone with the patience to wait and hope... and love. I like this pair a lot, and everything about them as a couple feels right to me. Amen to living together in peace, being there for each other, and living authentically. Cheers! Gary
  18. Hi, Brother B. Nope. Just finished putting a new latch on the garage side-door.
