I only care if the story is good and written in the correct tense. Male or female, doesn't matter to me. I only want interesting fun stories. And I am neither male or female, I am a Chef. .

Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Clear
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Clear
I do wish I had included Bethany's conversations she's having with her "girlfriend". There is a lot more to Bethany than anyone suspects. That is why I said in the last chapter, after re-writes/re-rights, this might be a good story. Don't feel bad for her is all I'm saying. She was fun to also write/right but that will be scrapped for now, if I ever go back and work everything I cut out. Five had an agenda, there is a method to every thing he does. He's a very calculating individual, and unlike Percy, he is a bit more honest in his feelings, even though he is conflicted. By the way, if you ever get an idea to have twenty-five days with two people stuck in a house, ignore it. Not only are they avoiding the real issue, they have decided to pretend to be a couple. Because they are super smart, and nothing bad can come from that. And that Christmas deadline is approaching. I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but Percy's whole family is meeting at PineCrest for Christmas. How are they going to handle it when both houses are full? Michael was such a fun character to write. He's been on his best behavior thus far. And you're right, the mines are a dangerous place and one should always be careful when exploring. And now they have wives to boot. Methinks that is not a good combination at all. And writing a program that analyzing satellite imaging and can predict precious metal deposits would be worth a gold mine. (i'm pretty happy with that sentence. And before anyone comes at me with the science. It probably is crazy without any chance at working, but in Glacier Bay, all things are possible. -
Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Blurred

In about a year, I think this is going to be a good story after I do a few re-writes/re-rights to it. I just want this story finished so I can move on to the other one that's ready to post. -
Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Blurred
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Blurred
I don't think I ever said it in the narrative. But in my head he was always out, which is why I included the piece we don't agree you hiding yourself for baseball during their conversation. And I'm glad you got exactly what I was going for with the conversation, I just feel it could be tighter, tighter. As it started out, it was all fun and games, and then when feelings started getting in the way, they each had to confront things they had kept hidden from each other, and maybe from themselves. Hopefully, as we get deeper into the narrative, they continue to grow and change as characters. The frantic pace from the first chapters wasn't sustainable for the story I wanted to tell. So as we peel back their layers of self lies, delusions, we find they are more nuanced them what we first believed. This is where I wanted to get too, but it took the eight previous chapters for these characters to arrive at the place that is needed for the back half of the story. I needed the craziness of the gay chicken, the weird sexual tension, so when they actually start admitting their feelings, even if its to themselves, it would feel real and not forced. This story is really about Percy and his "frosted heart". Will he let his dream of baseball destroy any chance at happiness or will he find a way to achieve both. And boy did I just had to use the delete key. That hasn't been shared yet. More will be revealed later on. -
Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Blurred
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Blurred
The grocery store trip, including the hookup in the dressing, was taken directly from my life. In my life, it was two older people, probably just hooking up and I never confronted anyone. As for adding the cheese, I do things like that with the husband all the time. It drives him crazy. Percy was and is out to his family and friends. He was not out at school, choosing to keep that private because he believes it will hurt his future. The school quitting thing, well you might find out who spilled the beans about that at a later date. Its a bit worse in the next chapter. These two should not drink. I think it had more to do with the kink they are exploring, As well as youthful enthusiasm. And sex is always exciting when you first experience it with a new partner. And a bunch of rose colored glasses. The parent scene, I am not happy with how it turned out. I wanted it to go a different direction in the early stages and wrote it more aggressive and unresolved. But I felt it didn't fit the family dynamic. So I attempted to have it be...not in agreement but still show the love underneath. Parents and Kids don't have to always agree but I still wanted to show respect and how both parties are dealing with a son branching out to chase his own dreams. I.don't think i nailed that sentiment at all but that was the goal. This whole story needs a re-write/re-right, it's too sloppy in places. At least I learned never to attempt this again. -

You forget you also found out what Seb and company are searching for. Though you are right, things are about to become messy. All three plotlines converge in the next chapter and we start moving towards the conclusion. I think the story ended up around twenty chapters but things were joined together so I'm not exactly sure how many chapters are left. But the story is complete. So as fast as I can edit and make sure things make sense as best as I can, this story should end quickly. And luckily for you, tomorrow is Monday. .- 14 comments

The Return of the King had like six endings, I'm sure they'd let you get away with it.

Frosted Hearts: The Lines Become Clear

MIchael was conceived as a know-it-all professor out of touch with human social interactions. He's spent too many hours in a lab and not enough time out with humans. He's single minded and always thinks he's the smartest person in the room. The relationship of the three couples are explored in future chapters. I'd like to say he gets better, but isn't that a relative term anyway. -

I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Christmas messing up everyone's schedule. I'm sure next Sunday it will get back to normal. -
Percy left the kitchen and walked slowly towards the stairs. Everything hurt, the least of which was his shoulder. And with each step, he was reminded of the events of the previous night. For the first time since they had arrived at PineCrest, he felt guilty. Without doing it consciously, he realized he had been seducing Five since their time last summer. Until today. Last night he planned for it. Suggested it and then did everything he could to ensure it happened. He even cleaned him

Even though I agree with you. Alas, she has already declared there are only two more chapters. I think it ends with Cody and Joel living happily ever after, once Joel's parents agree to allow them to see each other. But you are right/write.

I remember the cultural impact Brokeback Mountain (bareback mountain) had at the time. Two of America's hottest actors playing gay roles. I know the book was hugely impactful as well. And while I understand the need to normalize queer love stories into the mainstream, that doesn't excuse how boring that movie was. Too much time was focused on them not being together and not enough time of them "falling" in love. So when jake says, I wish I knew how to quit you, I didn't believe either of them. The pacing was off, the music was horrendous, too many long shots of faces. None of these things made me believe they were in love. At best, they shared a secret. As pure entertainment, they got more wrong then they got right. The only thing I really believed, Jake was a bottom. This just made me laugh and made my day. Because you are half right, I did forget hockey had a puck instead of a ball. Sports balls encompasses. all professional sports. Group mind think, keeping the masses entertained, insisting "We" just won when all you did was yell at a TV. I am making fun of all of it. Straight guys wearing the names of other straight guys on their backs. The idea of being a follower and broadcasting it to everyone makes me genuinely confused. Not knowing who is teaching your kid, but you know every single quarterback the Mapleleafs had since the beginning of basketball in Scotland is absurd. By the way, all of the above statement is mostly tongue and in a cheek. But I do not understand the following and practice of sports balls. To each his own. I'll continue to be the odd bald out. .

My memory is that the first two seasons were really good, and then it kind of went off the rails. I don't believe I ever watched the final season, I just lost interest. But the first season, based on the UK version almost scene for scene, was really good. But I haven't seen it since it first aired back in the 90's I think.

That will be an add on chapter, when after this story, Percy and Five go to London to see the sites and run into a school chef on a bus, who is reading a story. Its on a double decker bus, its hot, I've already written it. -
I don't believe I ever watched it. When QAF first came on, I watched the American one first. I didn't even know it was a british one first until maybe ten years later. By then, i would have been already tainted due to the American one. Though I found out that dude from Sons of Anarchy starred in it.

Who wouldn't like sex with either of those characters. I'm more on Percy's side, just because he's not blond. -

There definitely will be fighting. the question is if its Five and Ethan, Ethan and Percy, Five and Percy, or could it be someone not mentioned yet. But there will be fighting. -
The lead actors aren’t hot. Too straight. I know nothing about the actors but methinks they like girls in real life. They are just so straight looking and acting.

So what I just read, you hated this chapter. Fuck my life. I’m going to hit back another eggnog. -
Strike One: It's about sports balls. Strike Two: Neither of the leads are what trips my trigger Strike Three: Every influencer is trying to get me to watch it. I understand that if we don't support gay media, they'll stop making it. But I supported Queer as Folk back in the day, and that gave us Will & Grace (the worst show about representing gay lives). I think it's telling that QAF is over twenty years old at this point, and has been the best show in all that intervening time. I might one day check out the hockey show, maybe, but I've seen the trailer and it doesn't interest me. I also didn't watch Boots (on Netflix) because I don't like the color green. And their uniforms aren't sexy, and their boxers/undies are so straight. Can't have a gay show that doesn't feature jockstraps. I do believe that's written down somewhere. That aside, you have made my day a bit sadder now that I have the definite knowledge of only two more chapters. I shall miss trolling you in the comments. I might pick one of your older stories just so I can get a taste of what I crave. . I might even try to get all the new readers you picked up for this story, and see if I can organize a site wide troll for that story and start it all over again. That one has 56 chapters, lots of opportunity there. Hope your christmas was amazing and you got what you wanted from a sexy santa.

We will be finding out the answer to that very soon. I actually think next chapter will rival Krista's in length. But not in girth.
