  1. Okay, so I'm pleased wth how the baked oatmeal so I'm posting a picture of it still hot in the pan. (I had to stand on a footstool to be at the right height. ) PS: I forgot to mention I besides the strawberries and dark chocolate, I also put almonds in as well. Edit: It’s mmm mmm good!
  2. I’m just wondering if the strawberries are too dry - ie. not enough moisture. There was only a small amount of heavy cream left so I pored that on top to add a bit more moisture. If all goes well, you’ll be seeing a picture of a piece of it plated.
  3. My version (dried strawberries and dark chocolate chips) of baked oatmeal is in the oven. Fingers crossed...
  4. Oopsy, it is indeed 473 and not 437 Good catch, BB!
  5. Good night Mike. Happy dreams to both you and tim.
  6. It’s always nice to be appreciated.
  7. Oh, this made me smile. Nothing like a little hint, eh Mike?
  8. It’s the Neilson brand that I bought. Perhaps, Sealtest and Natrel haven’t gone down that route yet?
  9. @Mikiesboy I have almost all the necessary ingredients to make baked oatmeal (I’m altering it a bit to make it with almonds, dried strawberries and dark chocolate chips ) and guess what I discovered? The 500 ml and 250 ml cartons (whole milk and cream) have been reduced to 437 ml and 237 ml, respectively. I didn’t check, but I’m thinking those size reductions are across all milk/cream types. Even the 1L carton was looking a little short in stature... Cheeky buggers reducing sizes while likely keeping the price the same.
  10. That is absolutely awesome, A. for you!
  11. Good night DiCers. The sweetest of happy dreams when your turn comes...
  12. But, but, but I like canned beans. Well, these kind.
  13. I have dried cherries, but the only nuts - at the moment, anyway - I have are unsalted, dry roasted peanuts. Not sure that would be a good combo. I’ll think on it...
  14. Something to look forward to, no doubt about it.
  15. I guess it wasn’t much of a train wreck if you’re collaborating again, eh? See what I did there?
  16. Oh, that banner is nice...
  17. I guess I'm going to have to settle for another hot chocolate, eh? And, as promised, here's the "snowman". It's pretty awesome, imo.
  18. I had no idea, either. I hope there’s a roaring fire in the fireplace cause I’m cold after my walk. And in a minute, I’m going to post a pic of a “snowman“ I passed along the way.
  19. Twenty minutes is even better. When I imagine a poem being written, I think more of it taking days - or at least a day or two - to put the right words to paper so to speak. Some minds are just made the right way to have an idea or a thought to be able to have it come alive like this.
  20. 😊 thank you As for you writing that whole entire poem just last night? I am wowed...
  21. As is no surprise, you’ve posted something brilliant and thought provoking. I am in awe of your talent, I just wish I could come up with a brilliant response in return. Well done, tim. well done.
  22. True, you are a part of my virtual world, but being virtual cannot negate how much I value you both. Hugz to you both.
  23. @Mikiesboy Way to go, tim!
