A really sad testament to what to many have become. Where has compassion and caring gone? The callousness and ignorance of these drivers is appalling. As it has happened many times, just yesterday a driver honked at the car in front of him to move. Do they really not see the pedestrian the other driver has stopped to let pass (as they legally should) or do they not care and only think of themselves? Then, they are the pedestrians who jaywalk in traffic even though the they can cross at the lights just a short distance away - important business to attend too, I guess... A difficult subject, tim, but you speak about it well with sound advice. Well done.

Finally had a chance to finish this, and I have to say as I sit here smiling - I loved it! What a sweet tale, and though I had to look back to be sure, I just knew the blue-checked scarf from 20 years ago was the one from current day. I’m not going to question or ponder how this is possible, I’m simply going to accept that it is possible - and magical. Well done, tim, well done! PS: Don’t know how or where you came up with the name Evo, but I really like it and think it magnifies the charm of this story.
