This reminded me that I want to thank your for your beautiful descriptions of the hikes. It brought to me memories of similar hikes in the Cascades and Sierra Nevada ranges I had made over several decades when I lived in the Pacific Northwest. ❤️

I'm so sorry, your Royal Nastiness and High King of Evil! I don't know why I said that. After all you nearly had Ethan killed by members of Aiden's pack, then slowly deteriorate as Aiden was held in captivity. Then there was Brandon nearly burned to death by the elemental, and Brandon's beautiful wolf suppressed for years. Also, Alpha Dorian's death in the last few chapters of The Alpha. You would be evil enough to leave Randy out in the cold instead of cuddling with two sexy wolves. Notice I didn't mention anything about Chris. That book was definitely written by someone very kind and forgiving.

Wow! Let me start with the good stuff. Thad is improving and will get out of ICU soon. The whole gang agree that Randy should be told and offered the chance to join the pack. Randy left for time to think, but didn't run screaming in fear as he left. Now for the tough part. We have to wait for a cliffhanger. I do think Randy will be turned eventually. In the meantime, he may drag his feet for a few chapters. WolfM loves to keep us in suspense for a while, but he does owe Trevor true happiness to make up for the many books written where Trevor has been neglected. WolfM isn't cruel enough to continue that trend. I enjoyed the chapter very much, and am hopeful for Randy, Trevor and Skyler. Thanks WolfM!

Hi Drew! I have read your poems Drew and think they are lovely. You write with a lot of emotional impact. They are personal, but about things all readers will relate to easily. How do you think I felt writing to publish the first serious creative things I ever tried to write. I was much more than apprehensive. I was fearful of rejection before I even started. I couldn't think of anything which readers might feel in common to me. I just added another chapter last night. What made me finally feel I could do this regularly was seeing the responses. There are a lot of great people on GA. You know them and they will give you the same wonderful support and encouragement as they did before with your first group of poems. Just start writing in a journal with all your ideas, starts, couplets that come to mind. Don't over think, just do. Later share with someone you trust for feedback, then decide if you want to publish. Don't rush into it, take your time to explore. Gary walks observes nature and reflects on his past. I observe nature from my balcony, reflect on my past, and observe what makes people special. I know you have it in you to do more writing. I know you can!❤️

Thank you James! I chose Haiku to start my explorations for just that fact. This form required me to carefully select words that would give the reader as much sensory input, emotional involvement and action as possible with each word. In addition, I wanted the words to flow to match the moment in each line. I had a lot of fun doing these. I appreciate your sensitive and kinds words my friend.

I love that you caught the smutty humor. When I read the other responses to the prompt in Dessert Prompts, I loved the idea of adding an erotic element to the poem. (I also love alliteration, and use it in many of my comments.) I appreciate your great comment. One of my goals in writing poems it to make people laugh. Thanks! 😄 Terry

The other comments said most of what I wanted to say. I will only add that the young boy is deserving of all the love you can give him. I hope you now embrace him in your heart and soul. Honor his courage that struggled against great hurt and pain to become something better. He shares your past, he shares your future. A very loving and courageous poem. Thanks for sharing with us!

This is a beautiful poem of bittersweet love. Like @Parker Owens and @Drew Espinosa I loved how the rhymes propelled the poem. It was the rhythm that made me feel like my blood was rushing as if I had run thru the forest, experiencing the observations and thoughts you described so deftly. This is one of your best!
