    Birthday

Things are going quite well for Grant, Troy and William. Gavin is a good man and I hope to learn more about him when Troy stays to work on the irrigation project. I thing that Sandra and William will be very impressed with their new son-in-law as he works for and with them. The fact that he has found a way to contribute to the success of the family business and will oversee the construction shows he will be a great fit for the family. That alone should help Sandra bond with him. It's why she values both William and Gavin.

    Examination

Dr. Petrucci is the kind of doctor that should be the model for all in the profession. First, because he listens and reflects. Second, because he really cares for the welfare of all his patients. (He asked Grant to work with him to help the doctor with his gay patients.) Finally, he knows his staff and wants to keep and reward them for their work and loyalty. He has a very good business model that works well. Petrucci's reward to both Rhett and Grant, plus his offer to Rhett, was far more than the financial benefit given. Rhett felt weird like he didn't deserve what was offered. Grant handled Rhett's reaction perfectly. Grant acknowledge Rhett's feeling, but also told Rhett that he and the community disagreed and felt Rhett was awesome. I wasn't expecting to like Grant's parents and was surprised it did by the end of the chapter. William's reaction to his son's sexuality and his boyfriend was amazing, especially considering he was broadsided by the information. Sandra is not the warm cuddly mommy type, but she is a strong and flexible person. I love her snarky humor. She does show how much she loves Grant by her testing Troy. Her interrogation of Troy is focused and pointed on his character in a way a business person would be. Troy has passed the first test by standing up to her and honestly telling her about his ideals in business. It was apparent that Sandra had done some prior research on Troy in the questions she asked. Another great chapter even if there were not the expected fireworks.

    Integration

Rhett has only been a side character so far, but a very interesting one. I like that we are getting to know more about him. In spite of his anxiety, the friends are making him feel comfortable. I hope he becomes a member of the group on a regular basis. I'm sure that both Georgette and Natalie will be tempted to start matchmaking for him. He would be a great catch. I also like the conversation that Grant had with Dr. Petrucci. The good doctor was pleased about the new patients Grant is bringing to the clinic, and had not problem with Grant being gay. It is a sign of how far Grant has developed when he freely tells Petrucci that he is gay.
  4. Sorry Gary! I did it in a moment of panic.
  5. Thanks for the offers cutie, but my doctors here have been keeping me in good health. Gary does sound in great need. I think you need to air flight him to Texas where the warm weather and your tender care will help him heal quickly. 😄
  6. I'm sure you didn't. Maybe Drew is considering a different career in medicine and wants to experiment with heal bodies. 😇
  7. A very interesting chapter. The picture so far of Grant's mother is not nice. I have known a few women like her who worked hard to thrive in a male world. I admired them for their courage and effort. However, Grant's mother used Grant for her own ends, instead of taking time to help him develop as an independent, successful individual. Grant had to do that in spite of the way his mother manipulated and used him. It is sad that it took a horrible disease to change her views and behaviors. I only hope for both her and Grant that the changes will bring healing and joy to them both for as long as she survives.

    A Welcome Debt

I can empathize with Grant's pain. Skiing was a sport I loved to do. However, I also remember the first couple of times and the painful day after. Troy's remedy for Grant was superb treatment! There is nothing like a massage with a happy ending. Brian and Grant's talk at the end was special and demonstrates what a great group of friends Troy and Grant have. Tacos or pizza were my favorite meals after a day of skiing. I dread meeting Grant's mom, but with the support of Troy and Grant's friends, I'm sure she will be the loser this time.

    Chapter 1

April is a glorious month full majestic storms and the miracles of new life. I loved these lines especially. The riddle is quite challenging. Riddles have always been a problem for me, so I will await the comments of others to enjoy the fun. They all are great poems that bring enjoyment to me.
  10. At least most of the teen's body was supine.

    Chapter 8 S1

Devin did great at handling the asshat and protecting the girl. I also liked that both guys are looking ahead to the future. Devin's plan to get two degrees was a great idea. Mac's quick decision to do the same shows how compatible and focused he is on making his future with Devin. Great writing!
  12. Hey Gary! Just finished watching the highlights! OMG!!!! The Leafs were awesome. Kerfoot's deflection to win in overtime was so perfect!
  13. Yes! That was some comeback! Only one more game needed to eliminate Tampa, right? I'm going to check out the highlights.
  14. You're always there for me good friend! I'll remember your words of wisdom as I continue to write. I honestly started out afraid that no one would like my poems, but with comments like these and others I've received, I am gaining confidence. I do agree about connecting with a single poem. As a reader I connected with one poem, then started to read many. As a poet, after I wrote my first poem, I suddenly found inspiration everywhere for the others I wrote. I'm chuffed! 😉 Thanks, Gary!
  15. Wow @ReaderPaul! I loved you comment, but can't believe you favorably compared me to these great poets and writers. I'll have to be careful not to scrape both sides of my head at the same time going thru doors for the next week. I did love your alliteration and laugh it gave me. You also have a way with words, and I suspect that we may soon see you as an author or poet. I didn't fall in love with poetry until I started to read it here. All these guys are masters of poetry. They are also a great group that provide me both support and encouragement.
  16. Good Night All!
  17. It sounds like a horrible cold. I do hope you get better soon. Although you can't cure a cold, there are some good medicines that relieve the coughing and suppress mucous production. The cramping sounds unusual for a cold, though it is common for the flu. I hope you can get in to see a doctor if things get worst. Hope some of you kids can take care of you. Take good care of yourself!

    Revelation

I was surprised the Grant told the truth about the journal while on vacation, but suspected that things would be alright as well as Johns contribution to ease Troy's reaction. Well written!
  19. Hi Gary! Hope all is good with you today.
  20. Hi Albert! Sorry I'm late to the party tonight. I had to read WolfM's latest chapter. How are you and Steve? Hello Man! Drew has to set the example for all his cats. I think Drew's problem is he can't tell the difference between a man's pole and a fence post.😄 Hey Spike! I thought you liked your men brown and skinny, not green and huge. Hope your day goes well. Howdy Drew! Interesting change of topics tonight. Instead of pineapple pizza wars, it seems to be about Drew's kinks tonight. I'm all ears. Hi Bucket! Me too. How's the weather today? I hope no yellow rain is headed your way. That would be bluefish weather. Hello Clo! I admire your open mindedness. I'm sure you have no fetishes....that the local meat man can't handle. Hi @Page Scrawler and @dughlas! Missing you both tonight! Hope all is well.

    Higher 17

Hi Weinerdog! I agree with all that and would add one more reason. I think she is also jealous that Seth is both smarter and better looking than she. I don't think this is the last we'll see of her, but maybe she'll get ill enough to need treatment somewhere far away for a very long time. We can only hope. 😈

    Higher 17

It's great to have Randy back. He's made a big adjustment, but things will only get better from here on. Randy is also asking some great questions related to becoming a wolf, as well as speaking openly about their relationship. It sounds like he is seriously considering a throuple with Trevor and Skyler. I did get a great laugh at how Trevor responded to be led on a leash. Sander's interference could have caused trouble, but I think Randy's sense of humor kept him grounded in what could have been a tense moment. I am impressed that Trevor identified Randy as his lover. It was fun to have Skyler arrive in time to join the fun with Trevor and Randy. Cassidy strikes again with her homophobia hate, and again is set adrift. Yeah for Tanner. It sounds like he got his reward with a boat load of horny guys and gals. Good to hear that Thad will be home soon. I was also curious about Seth and intrigued by what both Randy and Trevor said they thought about doing with him. Great chapter WolfM!
  23. Ouch! You nicked one of my pet peeves. I don't want to bleed an essay on the subject, so I'll leave before I flood the room.
  24. I enjoyed the banter in the comments. The chapter is good also. Grant's agony over the journal is his own making. I honestly think that's punishment enough. Troy loves Grant too much for it to become a big issue between them. I honestly believe that Troy will be excited to get the journal with John's love letter back. He may make Grant promise not to do that again, but he will also realize it is an important reason the Grant is now in his life and loves him. I also think that if Troy had a problem, that John would intercede on Grant's behalf.

    Approval

Another great chapter with little or no stress and lots of good news. Now I'm really worried. The storm is going to be horrific, going by how long the calm has lasted. Can't wait for the fun! 😄
