If only mama knew how eager! Rory and Milan's first meeting went well. I don't think Milan will hold his mom's request to Rory against Rory. However, I am sure Rory will do his best to protect Milan, and that may cause some problems. Rory just keeps getting into deeper trouble with his dad. That talk is overdue.

Topher and Matt are not only good friends to Rory, but intelligent and skilled wolves. They remained calm and knew how to handle the emergency created when Rory smelled the scent of his mate. They almost immediately knew what was happening to Rory. Topher got it right when he said,

Since Connor has assigned Rory to check out the Takeda family, then sent him out, I believe the white wolf is Rory. The white wolf was not aggressive, so I don't think Milan was in any danger. If it is Rory I hope he got close enough to Milan to catch a scent of him. Mom and Ayu continue to impress me with their love and devotion to Milan. Some of the other comments about Biosense are very close to my suspicions also.

Some good comments and an interesting development in the plot. I also do not like big companies that try to go beyond the contracts they make. I wonder why this company has opened the lab here and restricts most staff, but locates the Takeda independently in the community. The city council is a mixed bunch, but all are cautious and want to protect their community. I like Connor who as Alpha has a community council and listens to them. He is going for information rather than simply act on fear. I wonder about how both sets of brothers will react to each other. Ayu and Chris will go to university together, and Milan and Rory will attend the same high school. You have set up an interesting and complex set of characters so far @lilansui.

Another interesting brother relationship. It does sound like Connor, Chris and Rory are also a loving, supporting family although much different than Milan's family in personality. Clues so far give me a good idea of some of the things that are to come. This is a great chapter promising many new possibilities for Milan's family. I do wonder if the lab Dr. Kiyo Takeda works for is somehow related to the community. Rory seems very nice and Chris a bit wild but also nice. Connor will probably want to know more about the Takeda family. Will he like what he finds out? Yes, Rory seems very interested in the mandarine scent that clings to Milan's mother. He does have a very sensitive nose and is very curious.

You captured my heart with this first chapter @lilansui. The family is loving and strong. However, my heart was captured by the way you wove the relationship of Ayu and Milan as loving, caring brothers who are willing to make sacrifices for their brother. It was very touching.

Some new mysteries in this chapter have me perplexed. Zephyr challenges his father's corruption and ignorance. Then, talks to Sune as if he wants to challenge Levi. I also want to know who this new voice is who promises Urien to help Urien set up a rule of darkness.

It was fun to see Jackie surprise James and his mother when she showed up in the morning. Roy was duly impressed as were other boys in the school. I think Roy and Jackie will make a great couple. Roy is becoming a good friend for James. I lol when they walked arm in arm towards Jackie in the parking lot. Donovan needs a lot of help. I wonder what changed him from the kid Roy first knew to this angry, arrogant ass. Fortunately James was not seriously hurt by Donovan's attack, and Mr. Marshall was there to make sure nothing got out of hand. I think the punishment dealt to Donovan fitted what happened. I also hope Donovan changes or gets some help. Dion does want to be friends with James, but Dion's mask is more a shield to protect Dion from further hurt. He's already been hurt very badly. James needs to continue his efforts and not be discouraged. He is making some headway, but it is barely noticeable right now. This very intimate conversation would not have happened a few weeks before.

Brandon's tour of Urban MO was excellent and had me googling the place. The food looks amazing and the events a lot of fun. If I make it to San Diego, that will definitely be on my list of places to eat and enjoy as a gay guy. The place where Brandon dances sound like it is very hot! I got a good laugh when Brandon told Trevor on stage that he (Brandon) was the Alpha and Trevor was the Beta. They certainly got a lot of great compliments for their performance. As for Shannon, I am a bit at a loss. I thought I knew all the characters in the Running with the Pack series, but can't remember her. I even tried to find her name in each of the books, but came up with nothing. Where can I find her? I am a bit suspicious of her presence due to some clues in the chapter. First, it seems very coincidental that she's at the same club at the same time as Trevor. Second, Trevor could smell her long before she went to find him. Trevor went to follow her scent, but when he thought he saw a match felt it was impossible. Only after his dance with Brandon did she show up. I'm not sure her presence is coincidence.

Carl is now part of the family and I loved the ways they are using to make him feel welcome. Armand and Colin will need a lot of help working to heal Carl. I agree that some people should never be parents. It is a shame that a few evil people have force Uncle's House to install the new security system, but I'm glad that the kids will be safer from attacks like this. Good job Ronny! That hit made sure that the kids were safe, and the bad guys get what they deserve.
