Steve is very fortunate to have you there with him. Did the doctor indicate how long this will last? Is there any treatment that is effective or will shorten it? Also, please take care of yourself. You need your strength if you are to help Steve.

Armand and Colin are doing some great things for the kids. As they become more and more involved, I know more kids with touch their hearts and be blessed with their generosity and love. I do think that some of the activities they are doing just for boys or girls would be wonderful for both. I mentioned before that my mom loved to fish and many outdoor activities like this are not gender specific. I am excited for the family as they prepare for their trip to Europe. As for Richard's home, it might be a great place for their family to live. It doesn't mean that their club home is not needed, but they do need more space as the family grows. Their apartment at the club could be very useful for the family.

One thing I really am hoping for is that the family and friends get together to brainstorm a plan to place as many orphans as possible into safe loving homes. I also hope that they can devise a program to help the older orphans get the skills and training to be successful as they leave the system to become independent adults. James would be an example of what should happen, but with more community involvement to give the young people more choices of jobs.

Richard needs a lot of support. Mrs. Anderson must be a very compassionate and wise person to let Richard to with Armand. I am glad the family is there to help Richard. I liked how the boys decided things together when shopping.

Hi Albert! Glad you showed up! The tiny tyrant has been in a bad mood today. He started the day with an nuke the minute he woke up. No reason or provocation. Your much better at discipline, so maybe you can knock some sense into him. Say Hi to Steve and wish him my best!

I love dried and ground Thai red chili with green mango slices as a snack with a whiskey soda on a hot day. ❤️ I rural favorite here in Thailand.

Dougie, a Donny T. clone with slicked by bleach blond hair, isn't Gary! So your argu ment is baseless.😛 Threats agains Nick and his fellow frogs are yet to be effective. Try again! So go to an Elvis chapel in Los Vegas and get married! Albertans kicked him out with no love lost there! Albertan's would know that and place you in the correct stratum! Duh! Everyone knows that is just the movie set. Avatar was filmed in China and The Martian filmed on Earth in Jordan. Movies sets are fake. Sorry to mess with your delusions Drewdo! Please don't cry.😪

Hi Page! Sorry about the cilantro, but it is in most Thai soups, sauces and salads. Only chilis, garlic, and basil are used more. Hope you guys are having a great day!

Not sure what would happen, but from family experience that wasn't the case. By family experience I mean that girls have been in the minority for three generations of my family. The average for my grandparents, parents and siblings have been one girl followed by three boys, or three boys followed by one girl. My younger brother broke that pattern by trying to add another girl on the fifth try, but got another boy.

I'm sure that Gary did not agree to this at all! You better be nice or he will repossess your herd! As for Alberta, I doubt your claim. Albertans are more stubborn than even you. They are like Albert+++. Their idea of a prank would be to bury you in Dinosaur Provincial Park for paleontologists to find a million years from now and go crazy! "OMG The Shire had dinosaurs!"

I have my own minion. Aod did the shopping and cooking today. Dinner was Three Layered Fried Pork with tamarind dipping sauce, Savory Pork Meatball Soup flavored with cilantro and garlic, and Wicheanburi Grilled Chicken. I do love my personal chef!

I do expect Colin, Armand and Tommy to add to their family soon. However, it does seem like Armand is making sure others are also getting in on meeting and having fun with the orphans. Hopefully the adopt a kid syndrome with add to adoptions by others in their community. The rents for the apartments these are very inexpensive compared to today's prices. No wonder students have big problems paying for their education.
-
I know that Colin and Armand can't adopt all of the kids, but secretly hope Armand's project is to get them all adopted in good families. I could see Armand include his friends and family in other excursions with kids from the orphanage. The community of friends, family and staff Colin and Armand have would make wonderful parents for many of these children.

Interesting discourse in the comments! As a retired educator I am very pleased that Thomas and Colin will be learning a third language. Depending on how long the stay in Europe, I am sure they both will learn more when in Italy and Spain than a tutor could teach them.

Aristotle would be proud!

Only a few years older than I am, so I am not surprised that we agree on libraries. Librarians have been my mentors and friends since childhood in the 50's. Those close feelings for libraries and librarians continue. I still connect with some of them on social media even thou I now live half a world away.

I understand the set up works now. However, when Colin's father retires, Colin needs to have in place a individual that he trusts and has an investment in the club who will do what Colin does now. It's the same reason that John is training Colin. It also would provide less stress on the staff during times Colin will be absent for family emergencies and trips with Armand and Thomas. It's like another kind or safety measure to protect the business, staff and members, not a replacement for Colin, but a backup for Colin.

Way back when, I was a volunteer in the Oregon Zoo's Education Department. I got to work directly with the keepers and animals. It was a lot of work, but I loved it. I did have the privilege of hand feeding the animals a few of their treats. It was a privilege, because by then zoo veterinarians were putting animals on diets, because of health problems caused by the public feeding them food. I did love the day spent at the zoo and think a trip for the kids at the orphanage is an inspired idea. I also love the idea of children learning a second or even third language. Colin's trip to Europe will be even more interesting when he goes next.

Happy about the decision to get the security in place quickly. I bet the insurance cost will be very pricey. I also hope that plans will be made soon for Thomas' friends to visit.

I think that Armand is making a wise decision on the clinic. I encourage art everywhere, but art at the level of Armand's talent need to be both public and protected. A clinic dedicated to the health of children would not be a good place for one of Arrow's murals. I agree with Colin that leaving the job for art students at Yale, builds good will. It would also encourage art students and provide them with opportunities to create.

I'm hoping that the dads can find some of Tommy's friends from the orphanage to play with him on a regular basis.
-
Tommy has a much more normal life, and his Dad and Papa love him so much. He still has a touch of insecurity that was apparent when he check to see Armand had the painting. I may be a worry wart, but I hope the two paintings in the car don't get mixed up!

Is that your excuse for forgetting to add a side dish competition? Creek Fried Potatoes would have put Elaine at the top?

I am glad that Tommy was not a witness to Mrs. Withers' homophobia. Except for her hate, the adoption went extremely well. In spite of the hurt she caused her own family, I hope Mrs. Withers recovers. Pete's place for a celebration was sweet, and the grands all showing up at the gallery was a great ending to the chapter.

Thanks for the reminder Aaron. I saw some of your recipes as well as some from a friend posted there. I am going to add some of these to my cooking projects. Cooking project-the process of taking a great recipe and revising it over a period of time to make it my recipe. An example is taking a recipe like Beef Burgundy and adding some Thai spices to give it some heat.
