Doing well, thank you! I did have a failure in the kitchen yesterday. I found a recipe for cornbread with jalapeños, cheddar and corn that was supposed to be light and moist. Don't know if it was the recipe or me, but it turned out heavy and dry.
I'll be taking off on a grocery/pharmacy run in a few minutes, but be back later. It sounds a bit chilly up north. Hope you and yours are doing well.
Great pictures! Thanks for posting these. I'd take on any of the couples. I wouldn't want to separate matched pairs. That would be like using only salt or only pepper to season a hot steak. 😁
Latest update!!
@kbois has posted the pictures for the book cover of Spirit Wolves!
They are on the Table of Contents/Recommendation page of that book.
(...and are very hot men!)
Great news! The 70 recommends goal has now been met thanks to @Sussins and @VBlew
Cheers and thanks to all who made recommendations!
A very unique story with an excellent ending. I had two quick thoughts immediately after finishing the story. They were Netflix and Tim Burton. It has the same kind of energy and feeling as a "Wednesday" episode. This is only the second story of yours I have read. Fortunately there are many more to read.
A forceful dark story that was riveting. The setting contributed to the tension and dark mood. The characters are complex and well developed for a short story. It is a great read, and I highly recommend it!
Sawasdee Khrup Dugh and Mom! 🙏 That's good to hear. I will try my hand at baking cookies this year for Christmas. I still have to buy a fake tree and then find where I stored my Christmas decorations before I start to decorate.
I agree about group work. Those assignments were the absolute bane in my university studies. I'm sure the instructors do this more for their own benefit, than the students' benefits.
Hangover is finished! Today's projects are all cooking. I finally found a store that sells Masa Harina, so now I can try my hand at tamales and cornbread.
I haven't read your work yet, but do intend to start. I was commenting on the fact you are obviously off to a good start on you new project, and also intend to read it when you finish.
I love this story which is both dark and humorous. Kavan is getting better about holding his comments and keeping his temper in check. The training was tough. The trap room sounded a bit tedious, but very dangerous if Kavan loses focus. The first outing went off well, but it seems to have uncovered another danger that needs to be eliminated. Ry's bonding with Ombro was a nice inclusion in the chapter. Great reading!
