  1. Hey Nick! Albert is saying that Clo is very dangerous.
  2. Hey Albert! Does that mean I have to pay full price, or do you give Senior discounts?
  3. I hope you didn't resist temptation and showed him all your great skills. Hi Gary!
  4. Good work, Clo! Kindergarten kids are awesome. I never got to teach those ages, but did teach 5 year olds. The toughest are middle school ages as they rampage through puberty!
  5. Impressive hacking if you managed to get rid of all the incriminating evidence. We all know the angel is just a disguise for your inner devil! You missed this recent photo of you and Clo!

    Chapter 1

An interesting beginning. The Baron, who in my opinion is a arrogant ass of a father, is the most developed character so far. Pink's character is developed by implication not a lot of description. Considering how he was raised, his name, the way he is treated by the other knights and his decision, he is both intelligent and brave. I look forward to Pink meeting the pitiful dragon that seems to prefer boys to girls. Good start!
  7. Fixated on Dragons this month @Cia? I'm game. I always enjoy your recommendations!
  8. The way you keep tickling my funny bone makes me think you are spending time in the HP universe learning tickling charms. I love this cryptic exchange between you and Addy.
  9. OK, if you do this for Christmas, it could be like the Nightmare Before Christmas, right?
  10. You could enlist the Songbook team and write Halloween! Dancing on the Graves. For the song, Monster Mash could work.❤️😄
  11. I love your great sense of humor @Valkyrie. This is so fun. I wish you could continue the tale of these two. The underlying idea of a dragon shifter working for the UPS was inspired. GA needs more comic relief types of stories like this!

  13. I love this lady's sass!
  14. Hey Albert! Hope you and Steve had a great weekend!
  15. I like Kavan's snarky nature. I also think that it irritates Legate Christmas Tree a whole lot more than Caspian. Considering Konstantin's position in Caspian's organization, I wonder if Konstantin has already told Caspian of Kavan's real power. I also wonder why Caspian constantly enlists Gideon to do the smallest tasks involving Kavan like telling Kavan his presence is required by Caspian. The explanation why Caspian is a chromatic witch vampire was interesting. I wonder if Caspian has any secret vampire powers related to also being a chromatic witch.

I can see the problem you are facing. With changes happening daily, what's written over a time of a few years would have many inconsistent inclusions that could serious challenge a reader. Like I said before, your essays are very good. I love the way they challenge my thinking, as well as being about to discuss these with you.

Excellent point Mancunian! Having lived through what is now history, to me it's part of my life. To younger readers it is history, bordering on ancient history depending on their ages. BTW, mobile phones were not in existence in the 1960's, but they were science fiction.

    Missing Children

What more will they find when the rescue the rest of the children? Piaolo and Kyrie have received recognition for their adventure, but also know it makes them even more different in the eyes of others.
  19. Aunt May's magic is her love. This very brief story is a great way to sample the world of The Boot series. A little love goes a long way to make your day special.
  20. I got some of that from the trailer. Mine is having a friend decided to reveal to the world I was gay, when the only one who knew was my best friend. He did it by pretending to interview me. He asked me one question. Did I think athletes have better bodies than other people. I gave him a one word answer, yes. He used that in his school essay to tell my classmates in his considered opinion that meant I had homosexual tendencies. The English teacher let him read the essay to the class knowing what he had written. Society perception dealt an even worse hit to another friend who was straight. Because his voice had not changed by age 17, someone decided he was gay and raped him. He kept that secret for years. Growing up in the 60's was not easy. I for one honor the drag queens who started the Stonewall Riots for their courage!
  21. Hi Bucket! How's the weather down there? Started Christmas shopping yet?

    Last Days

Since I'm from Oregon this caught my eye. The Overlook Hotel in the movie is Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. The final moments of the cinema was very sad.

As usual your arguments and example clearly illustrate the point you are making. It is the point that causes me discomfort. To edit out the cultural elements to extend the life of a work limits the power of the author to create. It's like a homogenizing process that extends shelf life of a product, but diminishes the texture and flavor. Of course, the target audience of these writers are high school students. However, including the weirdness is how people learn about history and culture that change quickly. It challenges the reader to go beyond just today. Personally, the video's you chose were excellent and relevant to the point. I was thinking about Romeo and Juliet before you even mentioned it in the essay. That work is so wonderfully written that it has been retold in many different ways including Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet as well as Romeo+Juliet. I did enjoy the essay very much even if I have a slight disagreement with the point. Thanks @Comicality!
  24. Hello Clo! Have you started your Christmas preparations yet?
  25. Hey Albert! Been there and done that. My second BF was an expensive lunatic! Literally! 🤪
