A beautifully written, but tragically sad chapter. I'm with the group that says the dream is important and hope that Tyler is finally able to figure out the growls and name. Elijah heard him shout out Boston, but that's what Elijah thought he heard and not necessarily what Tyler said. Both Austin and Ashton are older and it might be Elijah's instinct that is correct. They might still be alive and somehow associated with Kenneman and his sordid business. I think that Tyler and Elijah need to stop by LA and visit Kenneman. This might be related to the two big items Kenneman purchased at the auction.

I love this chapter and how we got to learn more about the kids. I don't know why Elijah had that feeling that they older ones needed to be first. The logic was for the younger ones, but sometimes you need to go by instinct not logic. I do like pairing up Logan and Tyler. Logan must have something very special for Tyler to be attracted to him so quickly. I guess we will find out sometime before the end of the book.

Hi Clo! Aod and I are doing well. To be honest, I was getting a bit too absorbed in GA as well as doing all the other things I wrote about. After the operations, family visit, and painting the condo, I decided to cut down drastically on reading and commenting on GA for a while. I was spending 8 to 10 hours a day 7 days a week. That's too much. I am getting back to reading, but am cutting down on my comments for now. It gives me time to do things I have put off for a while. I want to learn Thai and how to cook Thai food, but have put those off for years with work and Covid. Then it was the reading at GA. So, next week I am going to sign up for some classes. I'll still check in a lot on CotT2 and you folks, just cut down the reading. I am happy that the neighbor situation will soon be resolved.

I wonder what Ases felt like after the transit ride. The rebel's plan sounds traitorous, but I don't think we have heard the complete plan yet. It makes me uncomfortable that Timok is in on the plan. It is also not clear if Essell is the one being "turned in to the Kardoval" or whether Ases is included. Bouncer definitely doesn't like the plan. Great cliffhanger Cia!

Jonathan's brief talk with his dad when he first arrives sounds like his mom has his dad on a very short leash. She probably has made dad's life miserable since Thanksgiving. Dad is at least trying to make amends, but Jonathan is going to make sure they know he will not simply do what they expect. Drew just doesn't learn, or maybe as suspected is in it for the money. I loved this part: I also loved Simmon and his conversation with Rusty and Maddox. If I were rich I'd hire Simmon in a minute. It only took Simmons a few minutes to figure out Rusty and respond in kind. Waiting for the next great chapter to see how Rusty handles Jonathan's parents, or how they handle Rusty.

It was an amazing story with many heros. It was daily news here for weeks. The cave they were trap in is about 250 Km from here in the neighboring province of Chiang Rai. Shortly after the rescue, they boys and their coach spent several days in a Buddhist monastery retreat. Many Thais, single or in groups, take retreats to meditate, seek counsel and make offerings of merit during times of stress or great changes. Here is one sight that seems to have a little knowledge of what the kids are now doing. Most are back to getting their education. One is now a student at Cornell University.
