  1. The history of the painting was interesting and I feel that the painter might also be a seer. I was wondering why they didn't tell Delia about her Earth Mate, but figured it might be part of the meeting to come when Clarence talks to the pack about the possible alliance with Morningstar Pack. The fact that Kellar will probably be pressed to identify the Earth Mates may make a difference in the outcome of the meeting.
  2. Another hopeful chapter that I really love. I hope that Logan's recovery is not too much longer. I also think that the proposal that the two pack work as allies, temporary working together or even merging was a great idea. I think Clarence will think the same. It was great diplomacy to give Clarence the lead in this respect. I guess we will see the results soon. Delia's painting is very interesting and I hope to find out more of the history from the keeper. I think it important most of all to Kellar, since the evidence points to the wolf in the painting as a possible ancestor of Kellar's. I can't believe that I didn't leave comment on so many great chapters before. I must have been binge reading at this point. It is such an engrossing tale, and I must have been compelled by this to simply read it all as fast as I could.
  3. Logan has to have been a loving child. His father loves him so much. Clarence's love and patience with Logan, as well as Logans trust of his father was so well written as Clarence made sure Logan was able to drink the tea and follow the instructions that Kellar had told Clarence to give to him. I think he will awake from this a very different man. Tilly will take care of anything else needed to keep Logan in line. 😄 The teamwork of Kellar and Tobyn working as healers was also special. I hadn't remembered this from the first reading, but really enjoy the fact that Tobyn was able to see the mist this time. Vega is a special pack and hopefully both Vega and Morningstar will benefit from what Tobyn and Kellar are doing. I hope that Bill will be the next shifter to benefit from Kellar and Tobyn's new ability to work as a team to heal. Another very bright and happy chapter. I so love this story!❤️
  4. I guess I didn't comment on this chapter the first time I read. So now I get the chance. I thought the pack meeting was encouraging. However, Logan's attack was distressing. It is especially upsetting because he has been identified as Tilly's Earth Mate. I am glad that Tobyn was able to stop Kellar. I hope that Logan's cure will leave him more like the child Delia taught who was curious and intelligent before the tumor took over. I do hope that Kellar can cure that. I liked Delia before and even more this time as not just the keeper, but a teacher with compassion and a desire to teach all. I hope she can help Kellar find out more about healers in the past and what they did to help the pack. I do remember Bill from the first read. He is a great surprise that is not easily forgotten.
  5. I looks like the Earth Mother has given them even more of the telepathy skill. Maybe like hearing and scent the ability is more of a strengthening of what was easier to do as wolves, but now has grown to include their human form. @dughlas's comment has me wondering if this is the calm before a storm coming when they arrive at Vega camp. It was not heartening that they received no acknowledgement of their calls. Does that mean something has happened at the camp? Will they find it abandoned? There are many more questions not only about the camp, but what will happen if they find the camp and any shifters left there. Wouldn't it be fun if we all had Earth mates?
  6. I am still impress with the way Kellar and Tobyn worked as a team to help Elinor change her mind. Tobyn reminded her of the importance of carrying through their plan of contacting other pack. Kellar explaining that they were not exactly at the point of death when Warren fired the shot was just the first turn. The fact that the Earth Mother had given them an unheard of ability really sold the whole thing for Elinor. She now sees them as tools of the Earth Mother to save her shifter children. The dialogue was so authentic and the emotions it evoked felt so real to me.
  7. Hey Albert! Let me know how you liked it. Is it on Netflix?
  8. Hi Bucket! Your crossed fingers worked. I now have depth perception and better that 20/20 vision. I will need to get some reading glasses to keep from getting headaches from reading too long. Short term reading like emails is no problem.
  9. Hi Clo, Got back from the doctor's check up. It went great. I love my new vision. This time there was no bleeding in the eye like the first eye. I still have to wear the shield to protect it for a week more.
  10. The main thing I remember from reading this chapter before was that Warren was the hero. However, I missed the fact that Denver realized that Warren had arrived much earlier, not to open the shop, but to be on the lookout for Reznick. Warren did not have enough time to get the rifle and get to the truck in time, he had to already have the rifle ready and in the truck. The one thing that bothered me was the way Reznick inferred that there were more hunters. I also remembered how Warren had told Kellar about finding information on the internet during their conversation at the train station or cafe. That sure sounded like it might be related to the hunters. I was very happy they were able to take Reznick out the first time, since he won't be able to warn fellow hunters about the copper necklaces. I had also forgotten that this was the event that lead to Tobyn and Kellar discovering that they could communicate telepathically as wolves. A very exciting chapter.
  11. I just have to say it again. The bonding was beautifully written and a joy to read. I really wish that I could have seen the colors. Again you know how to write a wonderful scene of making love without getting near salacious. It was so caring and full of love.
  12. I liked Timothy M. comments about this chapter. His list was very good, but they almost always are whether or not he is a beta or just one of the readers. Not much I can add except I love Miss Sybil very much and hope she recovers her abilities as a seer. I did like the way Tobyn and Kellar reminded her of all the many ways she still contributes to the welfare of the pack. She has become the keeper that they need as well as a grandma, mentor and leader behind the scenes as an advisor to the pack.
  13. I missed commenting on a few chapters I read, because of the cataract operation. I had read them in the morning before the operation, but did not write comments. I will continue to write comments, but not catch up the others. This is because I tend to mix up details and where they appear if I don't write my ideas down quickly. Hope you understand. Now for this chapter's comments. The house hunting conversation that turned personal is a favorite of mine. I love the fact that both Tobyn and Kellar want kids. Of course that lead to the talk about consummating their bond, which in turned lead to them talking about how to prepare for that. That conversation lead to a few laughs. The phone call from Warren created some angst, but the fact that Warren was able to identify Reznick's nephew and BS his way through their conversation was good. The discovery of the silver as the way hunters can identify shirters was even better. The fact that Warren was able to observe the hunter to find the answer and come up with the solution was awesome. I know it helped him feel confidence and Elinor help him understand that he was now family. This was a very happy and uplifting chapter. I enjoyed it very much.
  14. I was impressed by the scene in the train station with the immediate change in Warren attitude and physical changes. The conversation there and at the cafe with Kellar was a display of the ranges of those changes, as well as reveal a very different POV of Warren's development as youth. It was funny to see his reaction to Adelin and her to him. It seemed both experienced interference of the others to delay their meeting. Appearently Tobyn was slightly more successful with Adelin that he was with his mother. Telling Tilly about Dane and Mace was a help to both Tilly and Tobyn. Tilly, because it strengthens her hope, especially when Kellar says when they find her mate, no if. It also helps Tobyn to realize one more benefit having a male mate to the future of the pack. Just Tobyn and Kellar being in the pack should help both boys realize they are Earth Mates much sooner and will less anxiety.
  15. Went to bed early, because of the side effects of general anesthesia. Of course I woke up way to early! So I still haven't been to see the doctor. Hope you all have fun today! I'll check back in about 4 hours and let you know how great I can see.😊
  16. Hi and Bye All! I'll get back to you after I see the doctor for the follow up tomorrow.
  17. Done and headed to bed at home now. Doctor said it went great, but I won't see the results until i visit her tomorrow morning.
  18. The comment I made the first time was focused on Adelin's reaction to the news that Warren was her Earth Mate. This time I focused on Kellar and Tobyn. Since the writing has not changed, it could be I have changed as a reader. The change of focus from actions to character wasn't intentional. Tobyn and Kellar have both changed, but to me Tobyn's change has been much greater. First, Tobyn' has accepted that his number one priority is Kellar and not longer the pack, Second, his responsibility to the pack has changed to being Kellar's and the pack's protector and not just a breeder of new children. The individual small changes he resisted, but the overall big change was accepted easily. He is becoming a more flexible personality. Tobyn and Kellar both have increased in power and can easily know what the other is feeling emotionally and possibly physically also. This chapter holds much promise for their future, and that of the pack.
  19. Hi All! I am checking out early tonight! Surgery tomorrow. I am not worried this time, but still don't like the thought of sitting and waiting through hours of preps and recovery for a 10 minute operation. I also hated the after affects of the anesthesia with a fuzzy mind and feeling of being out of balance when walking. Anyway, take care and have fun. I'll try to update you about the same time tomorrow, but won't post much more than that for and additional day or two. Take care! ❤️
  20. This was a real twist for me when I read it. The clues were there, but I didn't connect them to Warren. This is an interesting part of the story that shows what lengths Kellar and Tobyn will go to in order to strengthen the pack.
  21. Dang, but the bonding can work miracles if it does this to morning breath: I think that first thought Kellar had about the bond being complete was more from his innocent nature, than wishful thinking or fear of the unknown sex exploration that they will get to sometime in the future. Fortunately, the next kiss eliminated that idea. The definitely need more of everything. There also might be a blood exchange as a booster. They really need a sex talk with Miss Sybil. I can see red faces in both Kellar and Tobyn's future. Does that make me a seer? The details of this chapter that stood out to me were that the senses Kellar had have increased so that he now can hear and smell much better. It would seem that the exchange of fluids was powerful in its effects enough to keep Kellar safe. The bond has also increased his need to keep Tobyn safe. I hope that he has found out enough to be very alert to future dangers.
  22. I still love this chapter so much. The sex was erotic and loving, but not pornographic. I usually skip thru those on other stories. Of course I have to comment on Tobyn's after sex comment. It is hard for him to change his thinking on what he fears about the death of an Earth Mate. That one in particular goes way back to his early youth and the effects he thinks it had to the alpha and pack. I was happy that Kellar pointed out some of the differences while accepting Tobyn's fear without judgement. The ability of Kellar to accept other's feelings without making judgements is one of his most endearing and powerful traits.
  23. Just a quick comment, since I can't see much of the comment box. This format problem is becoming irritating. I was so focused when I read this before on the rescue and Tobyn's new acceptance of their bond that I missed so much of the humor in the chapter at the end. Now they can face the future together. I can't remember exactly how this changes their abilities.
  24. I had forgotten this part totally. I had to laugh when Tilly inadvertently spilled the beans and set Tobyn off for the second time today. She really was excited for Tobyn and Kellar. I think it gave her hope for finding her own Earth Mate. Elinor and the rest of the pack didn't have a problem. That's why I commented about Tobyn being a Drama Queen. He certainly had a lot of drama for one day.
  25. Hi Albert! I got in a few more chapters, and enjoyed reading comments by you, Bucket, Spike and Drew. How was your weekend?
