The Power Of Long Letters
raven1 commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in The Power Of Long Letters
Please continue to comment. I enjoy reading your insights and different points of view. I would honestly miss these if you stop. -
Hi Clo! Unfortunately, I can't open your instagram links. All I get are blank pages, so Drew won't be able to use the song on me.
-
That's a good idea, but I honestly thought you would have a few more years. When I was growing up the talk was put off until the first real date for boys, and just before marriage for girls. It was difficult for me as a teacher to teach sex education in school to twelve year old boys, but I got use to it. The girls went to one of the female teachers which made it a whole lot easier for me. I wish you the best of luck.

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when someone says "water sports"?
-
Hi Albert, Ya got that right!
-
Hi Page, With all that water you're not going water skiing?
-
Bucket? Rude? Only when someone is rustling from your herd. I won't mention names however.

The Power Of Long Letters

You may not be the drama, but you certainly create a lot of it!!!!!!! You have me, and I suspect a lot of other readers. hoping something terrible happens to the Xpress. Where the hell did they get access to those pictures? Connor probably got in touch with Jonathan's dad or the douchebag. Hurray for Ray! He is a great person for a bestie. I think with his help, Jonathan will be able to stay at Sunny Hill and Maddox will definitely stand with Jonathan. Jonathan needs to listen to what Ray says and understand that Maddox will not get jealous of the douchebag Drew. He might want to get some revenge, but he won't risk losing Jonathan for something that happened before they met. Maddox will help once Ray recruits him in an attack on the Xpress and whoever is behind this blackmail attempt. I am glad for another thing. Mom has had a change of heart and wants Maddox to bring Jonathan home for Christmas. That's something to look forward to.- 68 comments

Chapter 9 For Better or Worse
raven1 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 9 For Better or Worse
It is simple descriptions of the setting like this that impress me a lot. The vision in my mind makes me feel like I am there standing next to Kellar and Tobyn. In reading my comments, I can't believe all the typos. Still make them, but hope they are less frequent. -
I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya! Both for the weekend and next week at work.
-
I just saw that Bucket has also read it from the comments. 😄
-
Hi Spike! Any plans for the weekend? Hope your week went well.
-
I am sure I will want to read it many times also. It was my first shifter story, now I am hooked on the genre. There are a lot of authors whose stories I like a lot, but Gary's story is still the best. The thing I like about the second read is that I am picking up the subtle details I missed in the first reading.
-
Hi All! Hope you are all ready for the weekend to start. Not sure if I have already told you or not. My mind seems to have a bit of problems with the short term memory switching things over to the long term memory. However, I am going to get the left eye fixed on Tuesday. I am very excited!
-
Definitely! I would also love to see the sights, too! 😉
-
Hi Albert! How are you and Steve? I've been reading a lot of shifter stories lately. I decided to start reading Morningstar again. I love that story, and can't believe how many of the CotT folks commented. I have been having fun reading the comments from you, dugh, Spike and Drew. The first time you were the only one I knew. It's been great fun!
-
It is so beautiful! I can't believe how blue the water is in the picture. I saw this and decided to research online in the images. Of course the first thing I were many pictures of men in bathing suits grouped together with rainbow flags. It sounds like a great, accepting place for a gay family with a lot of things to see and do. Are you guys going skiing? Thanks for the picture.
-
Ya bet we did! We appreciate a great guy who likes to have fun. We've been missing him as much as you did.
-
Hi Page, Have a great weekend!

Chapter 7 Patterns and Priorities
raven1 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 7 Patterns and Priorities
This is fun! I think I remember why certain things happened in the story, but can't say anything. If I did, my comment would be a spoiler. I also liked reading the teasing comments I made and your fun retorts. -
Chapter 5 Exploring New Territory
raven1 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 5 Exploring New Territory
It's fun reading this again and seeing more of the emotions and actions of Kellar and Tobyn as they get to know each other better. Kellar's angry wolf is much more mellow three years later, but Kellar is still a bit innocent. Tobyn started the chapter as a worn out person, and by the end seems to have gained strength and energy from being with Kellar. -
Today I am in a laid back, compassionate mood, and have halfway convinced myself that Hortaimin is a deep in the closet gay. So if I were a writer he would get a extremely horny green. That way he give his father a one finger salute, and live the fun life of a green rider. Of course I can't write worth beans even if I plagiarized Will Shakespeare. So my advice is to ignore any suggestions I make. 🤔

Chapter 4 When Worlds Collide
raven1 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 4 When Worlds Collide
I didn't comment on it before, but I do love the way you describe Kellar's life and home he built. I could picture the setting so well. -
I remember why I liked this story the first time. Kellar is both strong and compassionate as the main character, and this particular world is not the usual world of werewolves, but a world of humans that can shift to the animal form. It also has the great descriptions that make it easy for me to sense the surroundings and perceptions of the characters. I know I'm going to enjoy this again. It will probably take less time, since I won't be reading the comments. This time I will focus on just enjoying the story. Thanks Gary!
