  5. Doing good. It's a bit hot here, so I kept myself to places with aircon today. 39 C and high humidity does tend to slow me down.

I read CJ's stories on CRVBoy's website. I think I left off during the time CJ was in Georgetown. I don't know why I stopped, but probably just forgot to check for a new book. GA is so much easier to keep track of what I am reading and want to read. That is why I make it my main base for reading now. It is also easier not to get stuck reading an abandoned story and get frustrated.
  15. Explosions is a very unique and intriguing short story by one of the great writers of gay fiction, Carlos Hazday. Stepping outside his normal comfort zone Carlos has created a new universe and history of lycan culture in Atlantis. In the space of four chapters he has developed characters that are both complex and real. How these wolves survive the destruction of Atlantis is the unexpected surprise at the end. This is a great read. Also, a nice introduction to the talents of Carlos Hazday.

    Departure

This is a great short story that is complete and rich in imagination. It stands by itself proudly, but I am excited that this is just the beginning of a very unique universe. I like the way this ends as a celebration of a new lycan form and culture. It does leave many avenues for further exploration. Thanks, Carlos for taking a risk!

    Embers 3

The bonds in this group was one of the highlights of the whole story. It allowed a range of emotions with each character and situation without being too heavy. You and most other authors on GA (at least the ones I have read) are in denial about cliffhangers.

Hi Carlos, I like the direction of this story as well interested in the series you mentioned. Is it part of the CJ universe? I have actually been a fan of yours for years, but never able to let you know until I discovered GA. I hope to catch up on CJ and the family soon. I also admire the help you give to other writers. Just keep writing and I'll keep reading. Terry

That analogy was exactly what sprung to my mind. I am a history and science nerd and this fits my interests so closely.

Now that was something I didn't expect, even with the clues given. It does make sense. Wolves and dolphins are predators near the top of their food chain, intelligent and very social living in packs and pods. Great idea and I am looking forward to how this plays out.

The fight was exciting, but I liked that Alketa spared Tejan's life. It shows an alpha that thinks of his pack first. It seems to have work as Tejan is now assisting and giving advice on where to relocate.

    Danger

I also like the idea of merging lycan culture and mythology. Atlantis is a very interesting setting for the story that is unique to the stories I have read. I am looking forward to discovering more about the history and setting as I read this tale. Good start to this story that capture my imagination.

    Embers

Embers by WolfM is a great story written by a great author. Brandon is a complex young man who has overcome many roadblocks in his life. Fate has left him at odds with his wolf, lonely for his husband, a marine stationed in Iraq, and a dangerous job as a firefighter. When his alpha asks for volunteers to go to Australia to fight fires he jumps at the chance. His wicked sense of humour, protective nature and sense of duty are just a few things that will endear him to you as he faces the adventure ahead. Excellently written this story will make you laugh a lot as Brandon and his mate flirt, then cringe in fear with the descriptions of fighting the fires. This is the latest of four great stories in the Run With the Pack series. It stands alone, but also fits so well in the series. It is just one great reading experience.

    Embers 17

From start to finish a wonderful story. I enjoyed all humour and adventures. Brandon is a great character and I hope we see him again. Maybe a story about how he gets his own pack? And two husbands?
