I really love this story and alternate universe to JKR's, except that Blaise is a girl instead of the hunky guy in the movie. It is also more rich with humour that makes the tension less oppressive. Harry now has the unity of houses working for him, and an Order of the Phoenix working with him instead of keeping secrets from him.

😟 I get the same problem during the burning season. Fortunately this year it was only 6 weeks long. (Four years ago it started in Feb and lasted to June.) There were also several unseasonal showers this year that cleared the air for a few days after, as well as kept the burning more controlled.

I liked the Ministry meeting where we got to see a more aggressive Mr. Weasley. It also helped Harry realise how his influenced had actually helped many people that were attacked by Death Eaters at Christmas. I had to chuckle over Harry's panic attack at becoming a parent. He still has a year to decide and at least 9 to 10 months before he takes over as a parent. Even then, he will have more support of friends and family especially Molly. Great chapter.

Loren's picture perfect family that was out to kill him took a hit that cracked the picture a bit. Not only is Jay's family not perfect, the younger brothers seem to have both good and bad things in common with Loren. Taylor and Derek love to tease Jay, and know just which buttons to push. Their discussion of Jay's sex life had me cracking up. Taylor is especially quick witted and definitely hot. Loren's empathy for their situation was evident when he asked their girlfriends to help in the kitchen. Robert and Donna are good parents, but it is disturbing that they so obviously favor Jay. The fact that Taylor and Derek are so open and honest means Loren has backing in the family for future family get togethers. Great chapter. I did like the fact that Loren has committed to return to visit Jay's slightly less that perfect family.

I was concerned about Harry the night before the official engagement, however Draco was able to help Harry understand the their engagement did not involve Moldiwart of forgiveness of Draco's parents. The conversations between Harry and Draco's parents went well and Harry did score some points with his wit and insults. This was a fun chapter to read.

Kadin can sure read Jevikel's emotions as Jevikel felt guilt at not watching Jemina better to prevent her death. Jevikel's revelation about Merida’s conversation was not a surprise to Kadin either. I am happy she is on their side and helped in their escape. I agree with Kadin that Gatri is a bitch. I can't believe she is stupid enough to threaten to blackmail Jevikel at a time like this to get her own way. I am very encouraged that they are now escaping to the weyr, but worry about Jevikel's injury. I think it might delay them more than they think.

In love, engaged and I enjoyed they have Narcissa's approval. I think it is more likely that Harry will convert the Malfoys rather than the other way around. I love the banter between the boys.

This is definitely a different take on Ron, Harry and Draco. Goyle and Crabbe may have been following Death Eater's directions, but they definitely don't like it. Great new Potter universe. I am very much enjoying this story.

I do like the idea of Crabbe and Goyle being very intelligent. It is a switch on cannon with potential for a lot of humour. Nice there is not a lot of angst to muddle thru to get Harry and Draco together as lovers. I am sure that Draco's parents as well as Lord Moldiwart will be out to get them.

Whoops! Food for the gossip mill. Loved the Great Hall mixup. I'm enjoying the humour of the story, and Harry's dilemma about his dream of a certain Slytherin.

Whoa! Harry is taking charge and will be the leader of the Jr. Order dedicated to defeat the Jr. Death Eaters with friendship. I wonder if they all will get to the sleepover stage that Harry and Draco are in now? 😜

I like that Harry uses his power as the "Boy who lived" to stand up to the system, especially since it is represented by Umbridge. I also liked that he offered his friendship to Draco after the trial. Draco is as abused by his father as much as Harry has been by Vernon.

Having read a lot of Harry and Draco fanfic, I am in agreement with Miles. This is a great start to the story. I think that Myr is correct in stating that most fanfic writers do a piss poor transition from cannon. Fortunately, that is not the case here.

The Kardoval were caught off balance and obviously tried to somehow control the situation. I loved how Garjah, Ases and Essell out maundered them to get the time needed to prepare for the "dinner" confrontation that is sure to follow. Bouncer again had to let his opinion be known by all. Garjah did a good job of pointing out the advantages, as well as reassure the crowd that their home was safe and strong enough to not be threatened by the Galactic planets. Essell provided very good reasons for delaying the meeting with the Kardoval and Ases giving the three time to assess how the people received their arrival, then plan and coordinate what would happen next with the Kardoval. Ases did his part by being polite, positive and respectful to the crowd and representatives of the Kardoval. Excellent arrival on the planet. Looking forward to finding out the people's reaction and the Kardoval's response.

Switching Sides is a cute story of Stanley and Don who get caught in a mixup of time and bodies. They get a chance to go back and change both of their futures. It is a delightful romp they have of the day before. This short story is a great read with two wonderful character that are totally unlike each other. Lomax fills this humour short story with all the fun and love you can handle. Great story, great author. Do yourself a favour and read this warm and wonderful fantasy frolic.
