  1. I would love to continue our feud, but I have got to get ready for my date. Have a great evening and say Hi to Steve.
  2. I see you are channeling your inner Drew again!
  3. No, but I will be soon. Aod and I are going out to dinner, then to our favourite gay bar for drinks. Check on me in a few hours. I'll either be hilarious or pass out.😜
  4. If I remember right, that ticket is for somewhere in the UK. Not Thailand. Try again.
  5. That's very early or very late depending on what you do.
  6. Hi Albert! Either your up very late or very early. 😉 Were you making Steve's birthday extra special??? I hope he did have a great birthday.

    Chapter 5

What a very romantic vacation and very well planned way to propose to the man you love. I loved every minute of the time leading up to the proposal. I do have to say, I also caught the conversation at the airport arrival and expected a wedding soon. I don't know if I want it to occur where they are now, or back home at the lodge. Such great descriptive writing. Pierre is precious. Andrew is devious, but I love that about him.
  8. We knew! We can hear your alarm clock to off way over here in Thailand. That's one big boom!

    Chapter 4

I enjoyed the tour of the restored lodge. The opening was delightful, especially the entertaining and funny way Ryan put the biddy bigot in her place. Christmas and the wonderful gifts they gave each other was so nice. I do understand how Andrew felt being without his beloved parents for the first Christmas in so many years. The details added to the interest and mood of the chapter. They were never too much. I look forward to New Years and the trip to Mauritius.

    Chapter 3

I've read about many shopping trips, but never one where 15 million rand (1 million USD) was spent. Great trip, because it detailed enough to get what's going on with the Belle Catherine to maintain our interest, but not be boring.
  11. Great chapter! I loved the plane trip with the funny conversation between Vincent and his scared little wolf. The resort sounds beautiful and I loved the way you described the house. Poor cold Caleb. I hope he gets his wish for next years summit. David's discovery of Heather and the problems she faces lends some tension as the threat of the MPC vampires could destabilise the area. Remis has great cause to be angry. However, WTF is going on at the end? Who is making accusations about Mason biting his daughter as a teen? Looking forward to finding out about this as well as the games.

    Chapter 2

Andrew and Ryan are off on an adventure to build their lives together. That is a great start to a story. I enjoyed learning more about the men, especially how they think. Andrew's kindness and good nature was very well developed in the dialogue and actions as he first viewed the hotel, then purchased it. I also enjoyed the people like Thomas who work at the hotel. Your description of the hotel was excellent and convinced me of its potential for becoming exactly what Andrew envisions for it. Great chapter, glad I don't have to wait.

    Chapter 33

Taoism is an ancient belief from China (about 500 BC I think). Here's the basis tenant from online: Taoism is an ancient Chinese philosophy and religion that instructs believers on how to exist in harmony with the universe The important Taoist principles are inaction, simplicity and living in harmony with nature. Taoist philosophical principle rested on a belief in the law of unity of the two opposite forces: yin and yang. ...and by extension black and white, male and female, love and hate etc. It also recognises 5 elements: air, fire, water, wood and iron. (I think that wood and iron represents the different nature of organic and inorganic earth.) Here is the most recognised visual of the religion.
  14. I just looked at the time... so it's off to bed I go! Good night all! Have a great day.
  15. Hi Gary! I hope you are getting some of your energy back. Is it warm enough there to have melted all the snow yet? 😉

    Chapter 1

A bittersweet beginning that gives important history of the two young men and their long relationship. It is a nice way to introduce these characters and their story.
  17. That's OK as long as you keep supplying them to Texy. Here's what your old employee is up to now.
  18. So that's where Drew gets the missiles for his bombs! I think you should try to sell these to the Russians. I'm sure Wile E Coyote would endorse them.

    Stay Humble

Mrsgnomie you had me laughing so hard at the playful rivalry during the practice game between Jay, Loren and Loren's followers at the game. Jay's homecoming was also great. One thing did bother me and that was Loren not telling Jay about the Lars incident and the discussion between Loren and his friends. That was an important piece of information. If Loe is not upset about his parents, why is he resisting going to visit Jay's family for the holidays? For that matter why does he not accept invitations to visit the families of his friends, especially Corey's family? Jay did use the wrong approach to convince Loren. It was demeaning as it implied Loren was broken. Loren is proud of what he accomplished on his own and Jay undermined that achievement. I don't think it was intentional, just Jay not thinking about how to say something. Jay just wants to share his family with Loren and share Loren with Jay's family. That is natural for Jay growing up in his family. Unfortunately, in spite of the love Corey's family gave him, Loren is afraid. Loren's reaction may be normal for an abuse victim so the whole concept is alien to him. Married people have the problem each year of whose family are we going to for the holidays. Loren doesn't understand the stress he is causing Jay to pick between Loren and Jay's family. Loren needs to truthfully explain to Jay his fear of family, and also apologise to Jay for how he reacted. Then use his courage to agree to meet Jay's family. Loren overreacted and hurt Jay very much. He needs to give Jay a hug.
  20. Thanks for the advice Albert! But I think I would be safer to keep on the run. Texy might get close enough for a direct hit if I stay stationary. Say 10 feet away. We all know he can't hit the broadside of a barn from 30 feet away.

    Aftermath

The price of ignorance was steep for Pinnacle Hold. If Vikkel had even allowed the singing of the old ballads, maybe Berrand might have been scared enough to stay in the cave. Had Vikkel been wise enough, the loses would have been minimal. Now the entire community face the danger of starvation along with threadfall. Jevikel and Kadin do need to get out of there. It might even help the chances of survival of the rest as there will be fewer mouths to feed. Jevikel and Kadin do need to heal, and while they wait may be they can help build something that will help protect the rest from threadfall. They also need time to themselves, because of all the pressure to conform will break their souls if they remain much longer. Great chapter Mawgrim!
  22. Oh Clo, how could you! The nightmares I'll have tonight!!!!
