There are no losers indeed, Gary. Their grins happen to be infectious, you know? Mark is really making the effort of showing Nate that he's changed and wants to do what he feels is the right thing. Accepting Nate and Bodie's relationship is like the final proof. And Bodie couldn't be anymore perfect with the advise he gave Nate about Josh. Every gay kid (and any kid that questions his/her sexuality) needs someone to turn to for words of wisdom, confort or just listening. Now, even though I love this new pair, I love even more our old pair and it'll be great to read about them (when is Michael returning to work, how's Candy and the baby, will Kendal adjust his schedule in order to get home in time for their son). I'm counting the days for next chapter

Well, Gary, I don't know a better way to start a day (and a week) than reading the new chapter of one of my favorite stories. The big smile is a bonus . By the way, congratulations on your 50th Chapter!!! I wish there could be 50 more, but I guess you only grant one wish per reader, right ? I'm glad Nate and Bodie are getting some normalcy back on their lives. As gay teens, they deserve to grow up in a positive and safe environment, surrounded by support and acceptance. From now on, they need to be strong for themselves and each other, and with the help from their respective families and the guidance from the uncs, I'm sure they'll be more than ready to face anything that life throws at them. I see you didn't forget about Jeremy. I sure hope one of these days he finds his Michael. Knowing you (according to my reading of COTT), I dare to presume there's a surprise coming up for him. Well, Gary, it's been a while since you posted this chapter, but I'll give you my review anyway. I'll keep it short and simple: I love it!!! It's always interesting when you include new characters and the issues or sadness behind their stories (you did it with Chet, Candy and Kendal's parents, if I'm correct). And now, you're doing it with Nate and Bodie. And that reminds me, wouldn't it be great if Nate and Bodie get their own love story? Maybe a spin-off or better yet, a sequel? Well, I can dream about it, right? Anyway, my gut tells me that COTT is not done yet and there's more to tell about our guys. I'm counting the seconds until your next chapter. Take care Gary.

I heard many times "everything happens for a reason". Right now I'm thinking what kind of reason was strong enough for you to go through that nightmare of a life? And I can come up with only one: you meeting Michael. Out of respect for you and everyone here, I'll restrain my hatred for your so called family and jeff (even saying his name makes me feel nauseous). You have no idea how much I wish they could see you now. Happy, with a loving husband and a better family, and a bunch of friends (crazy sometimes) who support you in every possible way. I guess it's not easy for you to be sharing all of this with us. But hang in there. A dear friend of mine told me "better out than in". So if you have more you want to say (or write, whatever), I'll be here ready, and I'm sure everyone else will be too.

Yes, some people deserve a second chance more than others. But how can you tell the difference? "I've changed" they say (like we haven't heard that line before). I don't feel it was about Rob forgiving David, but more like David forgiving himself for loosing (ok, almost loosing) the one he ever loved, even if he didn't know it back then. Excellent story. It has selfishness, fears, loneliness, regrets, hope and the most important, a happy ending. And for Rob's sake, I sure hope David doesn't fail him again, because I've never heard anything about third chances.

Oh, man.... I hope that you believe in guardian angels, because I do now.

I can't believe I'm going to say this: but I can't wait for Winter to come! (I better get my heavy coat) I've always enjoyed new characters in sequels, so could we expect a few more in your new story? Please I think it's great how you manage to include the youngsters' stories parallel to the adults one. That way, you cannot only tell us about CJ's parents and friends but also CJ's friends as well. Excellent job ! One of the things I liked the most was the fall out between CJ and Papa Brett. Don't get me wrong, that wasn't pretty, but it showed me that, while you have the best of relationships with your parents, you can still have a disagreement here and there. Now, how fast you're able the make amends after you realized it was wrong how you handled the cause of the fall out, that's the tricky part. Although, to tell you the truth, I was a little disappointed by CJ. He conveniently forgot to mention smoking weed, but then I guess you can be honest about somethings and keep others in secret, right? And finally, it makes sad that the Elite Four we all knew from the beginning may become the Fab Five now? Well, I'm sensing you have a lot of surprises waiting for us on your next adventure.
