This was a fantastic story. Loved the SciFi elements, and the world that was created. Excellent work.

I will say, the story tags don't describe the whole story.

Wonderful story that should be told to the sci-fi world. Exceptionally crafted, its safe to say its a masterpiece. A must read for sci-fi lovers.

Excellent story, wonderful writing, and the character development was truly first rate.  The author created a truly unique storyline with some comfortable ideas and creatures, but some truly unique ones as well.

Sit back and get ready to enter a truly unique world full of interesting characters and great adventures.

Fantastic, gripping story! It was fun, with a start that would remind a Star Wars fan of a Han Solo adventure, then a little gritty like the old Babylon 5, with a bit of unknown adventure like the current Expanse series... all rolled into a very original and addictive story that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time.

This is an exciting sci-fi space cowboy adventure!  Our hero sort of falls into his leadership role accidentally, but makes the most of it with his equally accidental crew.  Great fast-paced read for anyone who likes adventure stories.

What a tale this is. It has all the elements that will make readers turn to the next chapter, regardless of the hour. 

The characters are full of life, capturing our hearts and minds. A sci-fi story with elements of drama, comedy and tragedy as the plot unfolds. 

A jolly good read. 

If you like SciFi like Asimov and Heinlein wrote, this story will rock you.  Detective Inspector Darien Taine of Terran Sec has just successfully completed a case.  He is paid a deadly visit by two Amsus Inquisitors who have declared him a member of the 5th Column and sentenced to immediate execution.  He escapes with luck, some friendly help and a stolen spaceship with an inadvertent passenger.  He stays one step ahead of the Amsus Hegemony who have ruled this region of space for several hundred years after the fall of the Imperial empire.  Along the way he makes friends, saves lives, battles the Amsus, discovers lost technology, faces betrayal and becomes a hero. And that is only in the first part of the story!

The author has created a great cast of characters to which you can bond to.  The plot is both interesting and exciting.  This is a wonderful story I enjoyed very much. I recommend you read this, even if SciFi is not your favourite genre.  It is that good!

Good read! Well put together! Some sex, but not overl y focused! I like Scifi and this fulfills a good story line.

An exemplary space opera, with suitable number of omissions to stress the magnitude of events and significance of the central character, as well as his transformation. For me that would be a great anime series (and actually the spirit of Gundam, Macross and Galaxy Express 999 is there, if only spirit). Some deus ex machina moments as befits, some comedy and not much sex descriptions, the latter is rather a plus. The tradition of the golden-age sci-fi is also here.

Great read. Admins and the author should make an effort to put the rest of the series here because in its entirety it is only available on CRVboy.
