    Chapter 4

Regarding Snave, very early in the chapter we find the following: They stopped before a large oaken door banded with iron and inlaid with red walnut. "This room has a single very large bed," Raimey said, looking at Jamie with a small smile. "Will that be sufficient for the needs of yourself and your apprentice?' Jamie grinned, gave a gentle jab with his elbow to Garvin. "What do you say, my apprentice?" Garvin raised an eyebrow at the term, but nodded. "I like the sound of it. But perhaps we can see it?" Raimey nodded, lifted the door's latch bolt and pushed the massive panel inward. Snave immediately glided into the room and found a spot in a corner, as if the decision to take the room had already been made. In truth, in one look, it had. Jamie and Garvin both gasped at what their eyes beheld. So Snave came with them, and then back with them later to the room where eating the food happens.

    Chapter 3

Okay -- in the sequel, they can discover the ability to see in regular darkness, as well, at will. Or maybe, would someone named Will need to be with them, to see in darkness at Will?
  3. Probably the name was Americanized at some point. I agree with others, @R. Eric, who have expressed the wish that you continue to take care of yourself. I fight mild depression myself, so I know a small amount of what you are going through. I have also fought prostate cancer, and now am fighting an early stage of malignant melanoma. I look forward to not only more chapters of this story, but also your "Ark II" and "Bluebloods 5.1 Red Alert" and all other stories you continue.

    Chapter 3

I am wondering -- do the enhancements to the eyes of Jamie and Garvin allow them to see in regular darkness at will?
  5. This is wonderful to see.
  6. Blue skinned Jovian cat sees ultraviolet.
  7. My pet, Alien, has green scales.
  8. My cat shifts shape to dog.

    Chapter 3

When I read the title, I thought it was either a very small and short "male organ of generation", miniscule membrum virile, excessively moderate masculine extremity, undersized extrusion of maleness, pallid penile protrusion, petite phallus, tiny tool, wee willy, micro member, miniature manhood, diminutive dick, overly concise cock, OR a very short stature of body. As in the Doorways story "The Darkness Between Doors," I see you have crenellated towers of the castle. I think the Prince is going to be a very interesting character!
  10. My new cat loves to swim.
  11. I enjoyed reading this story. Jesse and Marty are young, but not necessarily innocent. Young lust turning in to love. Great stuff.

    Chapter 2

So, that makes Garvin the apprentice to the Wizard's apprentice?

    Chapter 2

Wow, I see so much in this chapter. I am reminded by the nether of the basement of the workshop of Nicholaas. Jamie and Garvin could only see what they looked at, until Flitch gave them the ability to see in the nether. @Geron Kees, did you say you started writing this story BEFORE the Charlie Boone stories? I am guessing Garvin is becoming magical as well as Jamie. The way Jamie brought himself and Garvin into the nether reminded me of Keerby trying to open the elf portal in "Elementary, My Dear Charlie Boone!"

    Chapter 1

@raven1 -- there might be one or two you haven't read yet from one site. I will look at one particular site and tell you in the private message that you, @Mancunian, and I have already set up -- IF I am correct. In the meanwhile, I will hugely enjoy THIS story.

    Chapter 1

Terry ( @raven1 ) --- just re-read all the Charlie Boone stories a few chapters a day for the Fourth, along with a chapter of the new story each day!

    Chapter 1

@raven1, @Geron Kees already has Chapter 2 in the que to be published. And I certainly agree with the statement about enjoying the comments of "the usual mischief makers here." And, with Jamie's unpredictable magick, Jamie and Garvin could end up in the Charlie Boone universe, or with Pacha'ka and company, or accidentally come through an Armenti Door.

    Chapter 1

Oh, this is going to be good. I'm going to have to read it again soon to understand it all. Looking forward to that.
  18. I almost completely agree, @Ron. But schools need comprehensive sex education, not "abstinence only" or "bare bones" (insert penis "P" into vagina "V" and rock back and forth until ejaculation). Kids need to be aware of differing types of sexuality. Kids need to understand birth control options. Kids need to have an emotional understanding of sex and sexuality (though that is quite a task to accomplish). As far as promiscuity, there are many differing views of what consists of promiscuity. I would say someone with one sexual partner in 20 years is not promiscuous, even if there were 20 sexual partners or hook-ups before that. But some will always disagree with any definition someone develops.
  19. Space Cat got Tabby Cat pregnant.
  20. @astone2292 has combined humor, retail, and fun in a delightful story. If you have never worked in a grocery or retail store, this may help you think of things of a differing angle. Join Retail Ninja, Mike, and others in this story. Well worth reading.

    Chapter 3

My dad was also a butcher for many years. Not glamorous, but we always had good meat when Dad worked as one. Many big chains now use prepacked meat, supposedly for simplicity and uniformity. But I enjoy going to a small store which has at least 6 persons in the meat department, and you can get the amount of fresh meat you wish.
  22. My new pet has fluorescent fur.
  23. Hero radiation proof. Saves the prince.
  24. Unfortunately, @JamesSavik, you are correct.
  25. Aliens. Six legs. Very inquisitive minds.
