    Chapter 4

    LOL... LOVE the graphic!
  2. Yes, I did give away that bit in the synopsis, but you are right, he hasn't disappeared as of chapter 5. But as most people have guessed, it is next. Maybe I should modify the synopsis to not give that part away, but I was thinking maybe that it would draw readers in too...
  3. Chapter 5 Bryan woke to the alarm on his phone going off. Reaching across the warm body beneath him to the bedside table, he quickly turned it off. Wyatt grumbled as he buried further into the pillow. Bryan couldn't help but grin at how cute his boyfriend looked trying to hide away from the day. He couldn't blame him though. After all, this was Wyatt's week off and he deserved to sleep in a bit. Bryan gently kissed the bare shoulder, making his way up the back of Wyatt's neck. The grou
  4. I had a bad reaction to an anti-anxiety--Lexapro. I had only taken one pill and felt horrible--hot flashes (no I'm not there yet!), severely dry mouth, flashes of pain that made me think I was having a heart attack. They say the side effects get better eventually, but they were horrible. I'd rather have my panic attacks than feel like that everyday. Yeah, I called my doctor the next morning and she put me on Zoloft, a much milder med that has worked fine since. Glad you got off that med if it made you that dizzy. Hope the new one works for you, Phantom. And Carlos, so glad you realized the Chantix was causing those side effects before anything happened! Congrats on quitting smoking on your own, I'm sure it was tough.
  5. Chapter 4 "I knew you two were made for each other," Sarah gushed as they settled at a high top table in the club. Wyatt laughed at his best friend as he swallowed down the amber whiskey. "Yeah, yeah, so you keep telling us." They'd finally been able to meet up with Sarah and a couple of Bryan and Sarah's work friends to tell them the news. It had been a couple days since they had told Bryan's mother, Carol. Bryan had been ecstatic after leaving the estate, rambling on and on about how

    Chapter 3

I think it would be cool to live in an historical house like that too. Things will be coming to a head soon. We're not done seeing Darrin by any means...

    Chapter 3

"...or has it?" That would be the question. She is definitely a cultured, southern lady and manners mean a lot to her, even if she's not pleased with what might be happening. So glad you are enjoying it!

    Chapter 3

I'm glad you like the images of the plantation. Settings are so not my forte, so if you ever think something needs more details feel free to let me know! And Carol is the epitome of the Southern matriarch, so she's going to rely on her good manners, even if she's not happy.

    Chapter 3

Thanks! I think it would be cool to live in a place like that too. I've always imagined what it might be like.

    Chapter 3

Yes, Eddie was moved to the care facility when their father died because Carol couldn't do it on her own and Bryan was at work during the day to be of any help. Eddie will come into the story a bit later, but I can't say much more without giving things away.

    Chapter 3

hehe, a couple more chapters of 'build up' then...splat!

    Chapter 3

Glad you enjoyed it... a couple more lead in chapters before the s*** hits the fan...

    Chapter 2

Glad you liked it. There's going to be a bit of interesting twists coming, I think. And Eddie is going to show up later as you suspected. I do hope to get in more detail with the students. Unfortunately, right now, I'm having a hard time finding time to write, so it's going slower than I anticipated. But hopefully not tooooo slow.

    Chapter 2

Thank you, so glad you liked the proposal! And yeah, Darrin is..., well, you probably know me by now that he's not the nicest of exes.

    Chapter 2

yep, you haven't seen the last of Darrin...

    Chapter 2

hehe, it wasn't actually conscious but that's pretty cool that it does look like Damn. You'll see Darrin again soon in chapter 4, and you probably will like him even less!

    Chapter 2

Thanks so much! I'm glad the engagement came across well. Darrin definitely has some possessiveness issues.

    Chapter 2

hehe, you probably won't like Darrin much later either. Glad you are enjoying it.

    Chapter 2

It is a bit of mixing, but as a teacher myself, I'm starting to find my former 6th grade students as adults now serving in restaurants, meeting them in bars (yes, this happened! And I was shocked to see what an amazing dancer my shy 6th grader turned out to be.), etc. While I don't 'hang out' with them at all, running into them everywhere is practically a given. Glad you enjoyed the engagement!

    Chapter 1

hehe, yeah, guess I can't stay away long! Hope you find this one intriguing.
  21. Chapter 3 "Are you sure it's a good idea for me to go with you?" Wyatt asked as he climbed into Bryan's grey sedan. Bryan could see Wyatt was nervous, his hands smoothing over his tan slacks. "Of course." Bryan frowned at him like he was crazy. "Why wouldn't I want you to go with me when we tell my mother?" "Just not so sure she likes me," Wyatt mumbled as he stared out the window. "That's stupid. Of course, she likes you," Bryan insisted, even though he knew his mother still held out
  22. That's what usually happens to me. I'll start cleaning the living room, but have to put away a couple dishes. So I stop to fill the dishwasher, realize the trash is full, take it out... hmmm, yard needs to be mowed. Yeah, that's my ADHD, so it usually takes forever to get things done.
  23. The last few weeks I've been working on really cleaning out the house. It started with the girls' rooms and has slowly progressed one area at a time. As a former teacher, I tended to keep everything, sure I could use it for something--some craft, some project, etc--plus, I have a husband who has to keep every computer, monitor, old laptop, keyboard, etc that has ever come into the house. I finally decided that it's time to purge the house of extraneous items. I don't plan to go back to teaching 6th grade science or afterschool craft classes. I might go back to teaching preschool, but why keep ten egg cartons in case I might be making 'caterpillars' with 2 years sometime in the future? So as I am finally nearing the end and the final closet, this is what came into my head as I stared it down. The closet... the final frontier this is the continuing endeavor of the Hunter Clan it's five week mission to clear out old clutter, to seek out lost items and new organization to boldly go where no one has gone in months... Yes, I am a sci fi fan....
  24. Glad to see you hung around! I would have missed meeting you! Happy GA Anniversary!
