  1. I made it home Just need to sell a kidney to pay for the cab fare home
  2. Page, how is life after your holiday? I might need to start planning my next trip when I get back home. I wouldn’t mind returning to the Sydney Seafood School - a posh lecture theatre to see expert chefs cook up different dishes, then you go into the kitchen to make them and then into a dining room to eat the creations. We do seem a bit obsessed about food
  3. Hey Page I have been enjoying a French Earl Grey in the evenings but sticking to cooler drinks during the day. After a big breakfast I didn’t really feel like much for lunch so I just finished off some homemade hummus and pita bread. A nice and relaxed holiday kind of lunch.
  4. Hi to all the rest hiding away or having lives to live

  6. You better be looking after yourself…
  7. I visited the Sunset Markets today and although the craft side of things was a bit (very touristy), the food offerings were awesome. I can see why it’s a favourite of the locals. Choosing was very hard to do but decided on the chicken and vegetable stir fry - simple but delicious. The biggest problem was walking through the market everything smelled so good. The char grilled van had a big fan sending their fragrance across the carpark as you walked in. The lime soda called to me as well - I was a bit concerned it would be super sweet but nope it was light on the sugar and packed with lime and mint flavours. Freshly made right in front of me No sexy kilt stories like Dugh but I did do plenty of drooling
  8. So true and it will offend them both

  12. We might have some spare rain at home - this has been the wettest winter for over 30 years and a cold front is coming through that will only add to our total for the year. And another front forecast for next week when I’m back home to enjoy it.
  13. Hello from the tropical north of Australia. It is a very pleasant 30C with a breeze coming off the ocean. Several fit young men have been jogging at lunch time. I will have to visit the park across from my hotel every day And just in case that wasn’t a good enough reason to be here, it’s 14C at home, severe weather warning in place and localised flooding. Definitely better here
  14. Sorry to hear that. I had one removed a few years ago. I was on a plane the next day I am keeping fingers crossed for you
