  1. Nicely done chapter! Obviously both guys have "abandonment" issues; I'm really more surprised at Craig's response. It's been long enough I'd have though he'd worked past most of that. And, really surprised they had to go back over the partnership thing again. Was that insecurity that really caused that? Regardless, it's nice to have the story move along, and the acceptance of a coworker is a great thing! You did well here.

    Chapter 12

Finally clearing the air between Casey and his Dad! About time; having a more relaxed home life will definitely help Casey. Now, about the stepbrothers.... At least, Casey and Lane can talk directly, even if Lane at times doesn't always "get" what's being said--but Casey seems to have the patience to stick with him enough to make his point. Nicely done!

    Chapter 1

Looking forward to the rest of this story--the characters you've started off with are certainly diverse! Loved the description of the RA: "Perky is a way of life for her!". LOL! Roomie is an interesting study; overtly friendly but still somewhat guarded and a mystery. The Baseball Jocks sound like typical jocks; always sizing up the competition. Gonna be fun to see where you take these characters. You've done well with this first chapter...now about that next one....<grin>
  4. Thanks, Dughlas! Isn't it remarkable how the darkness can almost "force" intimacy? Glad you liked the chapter--THANKS for commenting!

    Chapter 1

Nicely done! You did well portraying the buildup to release, and appreciation for the control exercised. Damn fine writing!
  6. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this epilogue! I love it when an author cares enough about his characters (and his readers!) to fill us in on the "happy ever after" our heroes deserved. (Yeah, I wish more authors did this!) Such a finely woven, superbly told tale. Now about the next story hinted at here... <grin> Your story has been a great investment of time and emotional energy--both yours AND mine! THANK YOU for making this intriguing story happen!
  7. Think the "Cast" list is a superb idea. When you've got a complex tale going, filled with intriguing characters, it's a real plus, and helps us get maximum enjoyment from their interactions. GOOD JOB!
  8. Well, as a dom top, I love begging ... but back to the story and comments ..... I think the "love" thing caught Clayton completely off guard--he's enough of a planner that I'm absolutely certain he'd planned on doing that emotional reveal in a totally different way. But glad the setting/characters has you rooting for our heroes! And, not too long a wait--I'm planning on the new chapter's release on Tuesday. Be forewarned, it's a tough chapter, and a major dramatic turn. THANK YOU for your support, your kind words, and for reading/following this tale. I appreciate you!
  9. Aw, thanks, Jeff! My goal certainly wasn't to discourage readers from either "Joe" or "Landfall" ... I just didn't want those to be a requirement to enjoy this story. (Although I must admit, it's fun and enlightening to have recurring appearances of the previous characters, since it allows us to get to know them from different perspectives that we had in their stories. And yeah, it's kinda like seeing old friends again! I think GLBT members get an advantage here--we've had to learn to be honest with ourselves; it makes it easier to be honest with others! (And absolutely CERTAIN about your "honest feelings quotient"! Glad you're enjoying the tale--but get ready, the next chapter has some drama. (And it'll be out Tuesday) THANK YOU for your kind words and comments!
  10. Glad ya liked it! The chapter DID give some resolution/clarification to both of our heroes--and certain more of that will happen later, too. As for Ben, Clayton recognizes that it was a fun fling but didn't have the emotional significance of his involvement with Ryan. I'm thinking Ryan's not threatened by any of that--he's comfortable with how Clayton feels about him. THANKS for reading and commenting!
  11. Glad you liked the chapter, Z! Isn't it great--and rare--to have that kind of honesty? THANKS for reading, and commenting!
  12. Aw, thanks for the kind words! Think it's important to note that Ryan "sort of following suit" as you put it is primarily due to his never having had anything approaching a relationship before--this is all new territory for him. Combine that with his still-to-be-smashed insecurities about his body, I don't think it indicates a lack of commitment; just a lack of knowing how exactly to express it. And, glad ya liked the title! I appreciate your reading along, and your rock-solid comments. THANK YOU!
  13. Damn, Tim...you were on that chapter fast! Were you waiting on it or something? You're right, as usual--that kind of open emotional base is something many gay men have mastered; after all, we've had to be honest with our own self-exam first! THANK YOU for following the tale. I appreciate you!
  14. Ryan’s so … relaxed … when he sleeps. I’m back in bed after getting up to pee. I had to disentangling myself from him after a great lovemaking session a couple of hours ago. Now, I’m just lying beside him, watching him. Lovemaking fits. You need to tell him how you feel. It’s time. He’s currently on his back, one arm thrown behind his head under the pillow, sheet pulled to his waist. His deep breathing is bordering on a snore, his lightly-furred chest rhythmically rising and falling. He

    Chapter 5

Well done! A surprising turn of events with the arrival of Tiffany at Ms. Oliver's. You've also got another plotline running (I can feel it!) with Colton coming into the picture strongly. And can't wait to see what happens when the church members leave and Jacob's dad has to deal with the reality of that situation. All in all, an event-filled chapter, with lots of directions for the story's tale, solid dialogue, and some interesting characters I'm sure will develop more fully in future chapters. Well done!

    Growin' Up

GRRRR!!! Been away (again), and now I come back to this? A crashed chopper? I've got my paddle ready for your ass.... Such a great job on the installment of this series. It's a nice transition into "Spring", great character expansion, some nice plot developments still available (I especially liked Ritchie's involvement), and it's nice to see the dads relax more in their roles letting CJ make more and more decisions on his own but with appropriate supervision (is this a "parent's primer"?). Well done story, with great pacing, and rock-solid dialogue. Can't wait for "Spring"!

    pink necktie

Damn fine chapter; building the plot well, realistic dialogue, and a real sense of danger/fear with the introduction of Doc and the mysterious online stalker. Gonna be fun to see where you take this--can't wait till the next chapter. Good job!

    Memories

Tough, tough chapter. I think it's telling that even after all Tait went through, he's still not completely recovered his sense of self-worth; in fact, his discussion with the attorney/assistant D.A. sounds rather dispassionate. Almost like he's reporting it, rather than experiencing it. I'd hope Phil would let the doc know that although Phil is on his way back, he's not all the way there--there should be anger on Tait's part. Really looking forward to Tait's ex- getting nailed! Good job on this chapter--can't wait for the next!

    Chapter 10

Damn fine action/adventure writing! The tension of the situation came through loudly--and Nick arrived, saving the day. (A crack shot, too!) one threat gone--yippee! You did well here! Congrats!
  20. Glad you're here! Get ready for some great reads and friendly people. You're gonna have a GREAT time...just be aware, you're gonna wish for more hours in the day--you'll spend it here reading and socializing! Welcome!

    Chapter 11

Almost feels like a Rodney/Shade confrontation is ahead...gonna be interesting to see how that plays out! Things aren't over with Casey and his stepbrother; there's so much more to his story. Good job on moving the plot along, as well as introducing new plotlines/characters in the drama class!
  22. Christmas is such a special time, and I'm glad you kept it meaningful, but lower key--not TOO mushy, but definitely emotional for our heroes. And those cal rimes will soon be a memory, with new baby, new house to be remodeled, moving mom and say, new puppies, new teenager(s) plus continuing their jobs. Exhausted for them already! A nicely done next step in the story...congrats!

    Chapter 15

Hot fuckin' chapter! You portrayed the instinctive dominance of our cop hero and his sub well. (It's interesting to note that our cop really gets off on the visual; all the images were new/unique, and an obvious turn-on.) It's also gonna be interesting to see where the leak is--and who it is. I've got a couple of suspects in mind, but gonna be fun to watch you prove my guesses wrong. A great tale, served well, spiced to perfection. Well done!
  24. This chapter was rather involved--I had to do a lot of research on prosthetics to learn what all went on--and I'm glad that the overriding emotion came through clearly! Trust me, I cried when I saw a guy walk for the first time on his new legs--remarkably moving experience. I appreciate your comments, and following the story!
  25. Glad you liked this chapter, Parker! It was a fun write--even if the sex was unexpected, it's what Ryan needed--and as you'll see shortly, Clayton instinctively met. THANK YOU for the comments! (And, sorry about the delayed response--I've been away.)
