    Chapter 2

What a fun, interesting story! Like everyone else, found the proposal moving, and (again) like everyone else, loved the cool students around. I'm hoping you'll incorporate the students interests/involvement as the story progressives--it'll be a different perspective from the other characters. And also know that Darrin is trouble, and gonna be interesting to see how all of the friends/family rally around to deal with his menace. Loving the inclusion of the protective older brother. He may require professional care, but his heart is in the right place, and can't wait till the happy couple meet up with him--suspect it's going to be a moving scene as only you can write it. Good job--more, more!
  2. Nicely done chapter--but my paranoia has kicked it. It's all going TOO well, isn't it? The house lined up, the kid deal "done", the parents wild about grandchildren, Carson wanting to move....I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Regardless of my issues, well done here...and I'm looking forward to more!
  3. And the captain settles back, anticipating a quiet flight--why do I suspect more drama ahead? And, definitely some stronger interpersonal relationships to develop. Good job! Looking forward to the next chapter!
  4. LOL! You're gonna find yourself like so many of us here--wishing for more hours in the day so you can read the great stuff here, and chat with some really great folks! Glad you're here--get ready for fun!
  5. Welcome, Vogie! As a writer, you'll appreciate the resources available here to you, from editorial to beta readers to appreciative members. Can't wait to read your stuff! Glad you're here!

    Chapter 23

The only one left is Silas' trusty dog. Hopefully she'll sense the threat and move in. Damn fine writing for this cliffhanger!
  7. Glad you're here, Brand! Since you've lurked around here some, you know there's a wide variety of stuff to read and become involved with (chat, forum topics, writer's aids, etc.) And, now that you're registered, you'll get to enjoy all that stuff even more! Nice to have ya onboard--enjoy!
  8. Glad you're here! One of the things I love about this site is that it's all about the story! If sex happens, it's a natural part of the story line--it's not just sex scenes strung together with the barest of plots. There are other sites for writers that are far more focused on the erotic than here... And I enjoy those sites at times, too! Dig around, read the stuff here, chat with the friendly folks...you'll see what a great place this is! Enjoy, and welcome!
  9. Glad your here, Mack! Lots of stuff to read and do, as you know. Enjoy!
  10. Hiya, Hari! Glad you're here! How can we help? If you're here to find some great writing, you've come to the right place--no matter the genre, you'll find something you'll enjoy. If you're here to socialize, some of the nicest people around are here--dive into the chat rooms and the forum topics. And, if you're here to write, you'll find the support services and helpful people you've always wanted in your corner! Make yourself at home--you're among friends! And, speak up; your voice is important. Welcome!
  11. DAMN fine chapter! Lots crammed in here. Loving Dr. Harding. His innate confidence and dominance may make him the perfect match for one of our characters, who's tired to being "in control" all the time. Got a couple of ideas for that pairing, but not telling now. And, guess I'm the only one who sees demons where they arent...but, what if those really aren't Tom's parents? What if it's a ruse for an assassination attempt? A priest? Not from/associated with the hospital? In at midnight? To deliver last rites for a patient who doesn't need 'em? Yeah, yeah, paranoia is a wonderfully horrible thing...and yet, at the same time, one of our favorite authors has been known to take us on roller coaster rides and down rabbit trails! Finely done, action-filled chapter as usual, with all the things we like about our characters done with our authors usual flair. Now, bring on that next damn chapter!

    Chapter 22

Silas is a tough cookie, and it's gonna take all his street smarts to pull this off. And, inspite of his innate self-confidence, his letter seems to indicate a lot of doubt. Well written, but another damn cliffhanger.... <sigh> Bring on that next chapter!

    Chapter 9

How messed up are THOSE family dynamics?!?! Discarding a child that wasn't "perfect"? And then maintain the deception all this time, including beloved grandma? GRRRRRR! Jason may have enough ammo now--supplied by mommie dearest--to finally be rid of all this insanity and become his own man. Good job of handling an explosive situation!
  14. Glad you're enjoying the story so far....trust me, there are severl surprises ahead--get ready! Thanks for the read, and the comments!
  15. Been away, and had to play catch-up (4 chapters!) and it's definitely worth the read! The family dynamics are messed up, our hero's outwardly cool but inwardly as insecure as anyone. You've caught his dichotomy perfectly! Now, with Patrick back, will he come out? Nicely told tale...looking forward to the next chapter!

    I Promise

Nice background work on the guys--but hell, they deserve full-fledged attention; the story of the openings of WOOF and Prime will be a good start for more! The usual good job here...fun story, interesting, realistic characters, well-done dialogue--all the superb stuff we always get from you. More, please!

    Chapter 4

Really loving your character of Dorian; a genuine smart-ass, incredibly dominantly horny ... and yet, as surprised as anyone might be at the way Felix makes him feel. You've drawn some great characters here, and done some hot sex stuff too--thankfully, it only adds to the story. Why am I suspecting that /Felix is gonna be somehow implicated in the drug deal? You've done a good job here with intriguing story-telling. Can't wait for the next chapter!
  18. Yipee! Glad you're back on this great, moving tale so nicely told! I suspect there's far more going on with sister/dad that what we've gotten so far. Maybe some inheritance? Is Matthew Brent's son? There's far more than just stress going on with her behavior. Daddy is right--the last phone call was incredibly moving--without being mushy. Lisa's point that he's headed off to war is a good one, and the weight on both Mark and Trey has got to be incredible; enough so, it's something that they can barely acknowledge. Can't wait for the next chapter!

    Chapter 1

Kinda sad that so many of us can relate (and hate!) to a character like Alan. But you've drawn a solid character and gonna be fun to watch what you do with him. Roommate? Suspect we'll find out far more about him shortly, as we will mister big-shot in Seattle. Fine start to what I suspect will be an interesting and fun story! More, please!
  20. Nicely done start to a story that I suspect will lure us even deeper--and also suspect a couple of plot twists ahead to keep our interest! You've done a fine job of portraying the tension between the military and the scientist; you can feel the immediate dislike/distance between the two, and even though the apology was accepted, it still feels a little akward! Fine job here--looking forward to more!

    Chapter 14

It's a good thing to get a feel for Josh's troubled past. And I can understand how he'd dodged his grief enough to have never dealt with it. Adam may prove to be interesting--and I think you introduced him at the right time. His and Josh's history probably bring further insights to Josh. As for Eathan? The more I read, the more I see a man so desperate for love, he'll do anything for it--even reading into Galen's behavior the potential for long term, when Galen's done nothing to support that concept. Eathan is just a little too needy, a little too emotional, a little too ... much. Almost obsessive with Galen. Kinda scary, actually. You've done a great job of writing interesting characters/situations. More!

    Chapter 1

Great start to what I suspect is gonna be an interesting story! And it's helped by knowing the places of which you write--I grew up outside Monroe, and the bars in New Orleans are familiar. <grin> You've done a fine job of creating interesting characters, and a nice story premise--more please!
  23. Nicely done story so far--your characters are interesting and involving. You're making my heart ache for Joey with his (so far) unrequited love. Almost sounds like heartbreak lies ahead for him, yet he's so damn optimistic. As for Gabe? Gonna be interesting to see how that develops. Good job--now, where's that next chapter?!?!? <grin>
  24. Glad our heroes have found a great house--and glad to see the friendship building with Chet and his partner. Remarkably, Chet's relationship seems to be growing as fast as K&M's did; I'm hoping maybe a chapter in the future to show just HOW they built it so quickly! A case of the right guys at the right time? And, despite it wasn't in this particular chapter, think the drama with the pregnancy is far from over, and figure more shennigans are ahead from "the bitch". Nicely descriptive chapter, and necessary nesting for the guys' ongoing lives. Good job!
  25. Maurice, one thing to keep in mind about the boys' emotional reaction is that they were probably far closer to their mom than to Frank. Although he made a major effort to involve himself in their lives, she was there every day, so the shock/overwhelming grief would be more understandable. As for the kiss--well, keep reading! The next chapter reveals the nature of the kiss, and the reason Frank responded as he did. THANK YOU for picking up the story! Hope you continue to enjoy the tale!
