    NB Chapter 9

And how long does this choir dwell in conniptions over a random singer, somewhere, someplace? Months after months in tizzy about a definite non-story?

    NB Chapter 7

This is the secret nd chapter now, I share drpaladin's feelings. Here we have teenage farmboy, invited on a luxury vessel, and he acts all debonair and arrogant, gets a hissy fit and makes unreasonable demands to be brought ashore immediately- because he as guest does not agree with suggested dining arrangements. Nothing in the events warranting anything like such reactions. Even more befuddling and strange ( although quokka seems to like such unreasonable reactions and plots) is the grand and costly evasive manoeuvre to the Falklands, of all places. To avoid nothing else than A PHONE conversation with Sebastian, who has done him no harm. Any 17 year old would rather be curious about Sebastian's business, then flee half-way around the world, because he was invited to the Captain's table for his first meal aboard a luxury vessel, making a day trip just for HIM!

    FR Chapter 49

Can't really see any point in this protracted and costly media avoiding charade. Do one press conference, and it'll all blow over quickky, no harm done. A yacht reported missing and re-surfacing again isn't big news.... As to reporting about the Fentons - Anton blabbed that loudly in Portobello for all and sundry to hear.... Curious abou the Leon-Kirk story! - and yes, one would normally use the winches to move a boat over land.....much more power! For further adventures I'd recommend handheld GPS devices and a few soate batterries. Wrapped in tin foil and stowed in the oven or microwave the e,ectronic would survive lightning. Also, a yacht this size should have a tub of polyester resin and a few fibreglass mats for repairs. She was so conveniently careened!

    FR Chapter 33

With five people able to take the helm I cannot see any reason for 8 hour shifts! 6 is already long, but are an option for a crew of two when not doing 2/2/4/4. so perhaps some of the more experienced adults might suggest 4 hour shifts. Work like a charm with just three crew....again my 2c

    FR Chapter 31

I was expecting good mom's demise a chapter earlier, while Gramps was in hospital still. At times characters seem to be difficult to portrait in a consistent way, or they don't fit well into the intended further story development. So they have to die some way or the other. At least in WA it happens a lot. Also boys abandoned, orphaned, in an case very mature very early and making big decisions - and big fortunes- without any real experience/training beforehand, are a recurrant theme. Even though I am by now used to the MO of such main characters, Anton's decision making still baffles me at times. How little he consults with the parties involved. Like making arrangements for distance education for Simon, only talking or rather just informing Jasper an hour earlier. But not Simon. Or buying the flat in Perth. Can he even do that all by himself, not being18? Or at a whim making legal arrangements for Vic and Rita to only receive shares in an unstable, new business venture instead of already agreed payments??? Without even talking to them? Be it arrogance or hubris, this lack of humility, empathy...whatever is an annoying trait of our little hero.

    Chapter 7

What away to come out. And then his team to boot.... bit it'll make things easier in the long run. You shouldn't get in the habit of cliff hangers though!

    Epilogue

Harley's middle name is not "OSHKOSH"! How could you! Looking forward to any scribbling you might throw at us until the Squad story continues....*hint*

Thanks for your consideration, but I like to think I am rough and tough enough to not need to hide my emotions! Pretending otherwise would rather be a sign of immaturity or weak ess in my eyes. Nothing wrong with showing your feelings or a good cry now and then. It's liberating in it's own way.

Good to see that he accepts quite easily that there wont be any wolfinettes in his future any more! His parents being so open and helpful is surely a tteat for his troubled soul. Hope the enforcer can see the light, before fragile minds get hurt. His mate or the Alpha should help him...
  13. Ah, shit! You had to have CJ drop the fucking L- bomb on NYE! Have you no shame.....keeping us in frustrated agony for two years and then out of a fricking midnight sky, on a smokey dopey evening.....really! Having the guys disperse gives you a chance to concentrate on fewer characters, and bring one or the other back in for a weekend or a holiday to fill any gaps or spike things up a bit ad lib. Sneaky. But then, I would not expect anything less from a guy who never does romance and cliffies! Btw. I have to push the project of getting ink now. Shown up by fictional characters....can't have that!

    New Perspectives

I had to laugh at Kellar, as he started rambling and babbling The minute Gramps woke up. Couldn't stop, and surely his literally "colorful" and oh, so verbose outburst did not make any sense at all to the old man! I am sure there are quite a few collections of famous "Last Words" but is there a pndant for FIRST words? 'Piss' just was a wonderful and fitting thing to say after years as wolf! Thanks for this great and touching chapter!

    Second Bite

A strange end to the wedding.....police must be all over the place by now! But most importantly, our guys are good, better than before in fact. For whatever weird prodding, they've taken the next step. One that had been anticipated by quite a few of us, I reckon. Btw. In one of the first paragrahs it seems that the autocorrect pulled a fast one over you! I would assume the trumpeteer played the "Trumpet Voluntary" and not a 'triumphant Voltaire'! (End of wisecracking)

Interesting angle you chose! Now hooked on tne Parker Valley stuff again....wish you'd post in short intervalls- cold turkey is such a drag!
  17. Btw. You can always tell a truly great chapter when the comment section is longer than the original post! ( or the chapter was far too shortrtrtrt instead of lomgerererer!) - or a combination thereof?
  18. I cannot possibly add any more to the score of astute observations of my fellow readers here .... but I do have to wonder why Kellar made no contact with Fendtal in his wolf form? Sure wolfs can communicate? I probably missed or forgot that part. But then we bears are probably not as quick and cunning as wolves - especially not just coming out from hibernation! Thanks for this touching chapter!

Hillaryous! I enjoy your sidesteps into politics and the antics of our beloved squaddies - Ritchie now included. Toolbox.....nuff said!

Chapter goooood - cliffie baaaad! I am curious about the school Ritchie seems to attend. Ever since I've read "Seasons for the Boy", by Chris James at awesomedude.com, I have a new found respect for a branch of the Quakers, or the Society of Friends. If you are in need of something religious, peaceful and respectful and of a christian flavor, study them. But go for the variety that does not have preachers!

What a smoothe way to refresh our memories and effortlessly bring Ethan into the fold! Relaxed and easy going, all the way. Yeah, I know the boys do that also, quite vocal apparently! Had to check Schottnyc.com for any sale offers while reading.....never one to pass a chance!

    North

For a regrettably shorterer chapter, this was a very lovely one! And such a wonderful story, kept me in a warm and fuzzy place all winter! No some storms are howling outside - I think my British brethren call it Doris - and I am starting to crepe my very own trip to the polar circle next week! Dogs and bears, oh my! Hopefully not many of the latter, most likely no friendly shifter bears out there in real life! But the black ones are further south, the white ones further west and the brownies sleeping still - we hope! As always I'll keep my eyes open for any up and coming four-legged athletes from the Sabaakax Clan! I carry special treats for them! Go mush! Now for the important stuff: Sasha, the spring story? A kart racing boy, advancing to formula cars perhaps? LoL
  24. I'm with Kitt on that one. There seems to be a strong connection from Arthur to his Sybil- did they manage a quick tumble in yhe hay, bach when? So I guess good old Miss Sybill is either sprouting wings by now and taking to the morning sky or pressing someone into driver duty!
