Years ago in Esquire Magazine, there was an article titled A Plague of Lawyers. It said God didn't need seven plagues on Egypt, lawyers alone would have done. The illustration had winged lawyers with briefcases descending like locusts.

Yep. Lyn's a clueless asshole. As oblivious as he is, it's hard to see how he functions as a lawyer. Alexander admitted he's bisexual and I'd say leaning to men. Lyn is the prize he wants to keep for his own.

It's all domestic and homey as Hugo and Alec learn more about each other. As disparste as they first seemed, they fit together. As this continues, the thought of being separated will become unthinkable.

Any era can seem ideal if you only focus on the most halcyon aspects. -
Ezra has quite literally broken Enrico. Between the shock of the damaged submarine and Ezra"s breach of trust, it was too much. And it probably saved Ezra's life. The chaos of another arrow at MI5 might let them get away.
