    Bonnaroo

If you like popular music, you can tune in to Bonnaroo, the big Nashville music festival, all weekend free, courtesy of NPR. It's not country music.
  2. Two will transit the Suez on Atlantis? I must have missed something. While Trevor has gotten what seems to be good advice from Bob and Melanie, he is a capable captain and navigator himself. While he could use some company on his trip - and the Mediterranean to Australia is a long haul - he could make the trip alone.
  3. You would be rather tall if you didn't have so much turned under for foot.
  4. I'm no expert (as Eric well knows from the questions I have asked him). So, it's a generality when I say "wait". See what the competition has to offer before you decide. Prices will decline when the competitors arrive in the market. Also, early adopters are often early regretters.
  5. Happy Birthday, Bob!
  6. The Athena statue is in the Parthenon replica at Centennial Park in Nashville. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parthenon_(Nashville) Anyone looks small by comparison and no, Athena was not touched by the flooding.
  7. An interesting comment Bridget made to Lisa...
  8. Cliff James has released Chapter 29 of Circumnavigation..."Meetings". Meetings? Have you ever attended a meeting that ended with a cliffhanger?
  9. C James has released Chapter 6 of Jake..."The Art of Hypocrisy".
  10. Good food is welcome wherever you find it. I have a question, Cammy. Why do you call yourself a hot head?
  11. Good chapter, CJ. There are several mysteries here, one being investigated by the police, another a mystery of nature. Joel seems to get over his anger at Trevor's nearly deadly experience in the mid-Atlantic.
  12. Cliff James has released Chapter 28 of Circumnavigation..."Mysteries".
  13. I agree on The Secret Life of the Overture Boys being the best of yours I have read. I'm sure you still have great stories in you. Keep plugging away and the muse will take pity on you.
  14. Dennis Hopper died of prostate cancer. I have taken the opportunity in several GA forums to comment on the disease. It is imperative that every man aged 50 or over have an annual PSA test, a simple blood test. Men in high risk categories should start having PSA tests at age 40. Please take a few minutes to review Prostate Cancer Risk Factors published by the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
  15. Happy Birthday, Eric!
  16. There was virtually no looting following the May 1 and 2 flooding in Nashville. Why not? A picture is worth a thousand words.
  17. Cliff James has released chapter 27 of Circumnavigation..."Unraveling".
  18. I think Jake is primarily a story about relationships. Those relationships are changing; we see a significant change in chapter 5. Jake, Corey, and Brett are three young gay men, but two of them do not know that about the third one. Only Jake (and Corey's mom) know how Jake feels about Corey. Either the relationships continue to change or something will explode. This is not like CJ's other stories. There is no evil Scar on the radar at this point. There are only three young men and a dilemma that is not what each of them thinks. I think we can trust CJ on this one. It's going to be quite a ride, despite the paucity of cliffhangers.
  19. When I attended OCS (US Army) in the 1960s, a high school diploma was the only education requirement. I think most of my fellow candidates were college graduates, but there were definitely some who were not. I think those without a college education did as well as those with. OCS was a pretty rigorous academic course, at least in the Field Artillery. There was a lot more to it than just learning how to give orders.
  20. Don't leave, Pavel. Stick with the story. I can assure something is going to happen and you don't want to miss it.
  21. Chapter 5 of Jake has been released. Jake seems to have a new friend or at least one less adversary. Try as I might, I can't find the cliffhanger. I know it's there; guess I'll have to read it again.
  22. You raise an interesting question. Not to get us off on a tangent, but who is the real coward? The one who takes (or attempts to take) his own life or the one who can't "do the deed"? Is suicide the coward's way out?
  23. I concur with the previous recommendations. Another great story is Jake, which is currently being released as a premium story. It is a real departure from CJ's other stories and will quickly become a favorite of many readers.

    They know...

Thanks for your comments, Pavel. I hope others will be encouraged by your experience. Coming out has to be the sure fire way of finding out who really loves you and who is really your friend.

    new positivity....

I expect that the stronger your relationship grows with your "new man", the easier it will be to come out. You will find you have the support and self-assurance you need. Best wishes.
