Oh, thank you so much Defiance! I sure appreciate your reading Snowflake and giving your time to comment. Sabrina's life has had tragedy. She is an echo of real people I've met, LGBTQ and otherwise, who have suffered greatly, but carry on despite it all. They even survive what others miight consider 'mistakes' like drug abuse. The trick is, we can never know what someone has gone through unless we love them enough to walk in their shoes for a while. This, I think, would be the greatest gift we could give the transgendered. Accept their situation, walk in their shoes for a while, and then you'll see why they are the way they are and why they wish to live as they wish to live.

Let me ask you something. Do you have love in your heart? Do you long to be loved and to give love? If you can say yes to this then you are a treasure beyond price. One day, and I cannot say when or where, I believe you will find the miner of your priceless heart. If you can only say no to the questions above...then I would say you are allowing yourself to be deceived. Humanity is programmed to want and to receive love. Those that use others do so out of fear. They are afraid to give for fear that will be taken away. They don't understand love. Love cannot be be taken unless it is given and it cannot be given unless it is taken. It is a circuit...not a commodity that one can lose by giving it away or by having it stolen. It's always there. I only becomes more powerful when it connects into a circuit.

Some of us just readily accept who and what we are. Billy has that blessing. Brandon doesn't. This was me when I was 15. I was growing up in a time when being gay was 'disordered'. I fought it and fought it hard. Unfortunately for me, I won and would remain alone for most of my life. That was my 'prize'. Brandon, fortunately, will not have that problem...

April 20 You know what? Today was AWESOME! :D I had so much fun with Marie today I couldn't believe it! If she isn't my girlfriend then she'll definitely be my friend who is a girl! Hehehehe. She's just...~sigh~...so cool. I can't say I'm in love because that doesn't really sound right. It's not love I have, but it's more than fondness. She's definitely a friend! A friend I have more in common with than I ever though I would with a girl! It's kind of funny, but she and I like the same kin

Sabrina ~~~~~~~~~ The sun of San Diego is so different from other places. It seems brighter and hotter than anywhere else on the California Coast. I've loved this place since I was little. We'd always take trips down here in Summer and live on the beach for three whole glorious weeks. We'd visit Sea World, of course, and that was fun, but I loved the beach! The sand and the surf are perfect here! They always have been and probably always will be! LA has some lovely beaches with some lovelie

I don't think Brandon is doing anything skanky on the sly...thought Comsie's will be done, Amen. There is probably a simple explanation that Brandon has just overlooked telling Billy. Maybe a trip to his Uncle's place or maybe he has a job one day a week until the probationary period is over. It could very well be summer school! Maybe Mr. Webber is getting Bran ready for AP Calculus as his tutor? < I'll take that one for $40, Alex.

I was inspired to Photoshop a new cover picture for Brandon Smiling too, today. Maybe I'll use this for the next book in the series. -

Your careful clip selection and the very appropriate song 'Iris' from Goo Goo Dolls just fits for the story. Even finding a 'Jimmy' with wrist scars and integrating it into the video was jaw dropping. A lot of us really thought you'd started making a movie! I found this tender rendition of 'Iris' by a young band out of suburban LA called Future. Sunsets that I consider 'Brandonized' because it is a bit gentler and mellower. This is how I feel Brandon's general sweet disposition is. Quiet pain. It speaks to the same issues Billy has but through Brandon's lens. Yes, I really thought this hard about your creation, Comsie. You have no idea in what ways your stories have helped me through this past year or so. I'll stop gushing now. Its been very cathartic to read and participate in the stories of teens very much like I was once. Maybe we all were in one way or another. Hence your mass appeal. -

Hehehehehe! Congratulations! You guys are playing host to some of the funniest and kindest people I know! The good Church Goers will hate them to death, but that's only because they will never look to see the good they do. They've raised tons of money here in San Diego for everything from AIDS research to Animal Protection. I LOVE MY SISES!

Wow Comsie... ...Randy's definitely pretty. I am amazed again too. He reminds me of someone I vaguely remember... ...that would be me at 15. No...I don't think I have an illigitimate son out there, but Randy might be a relative of some kind. hehehehe! I wonder what his mother's maiden name was? I'd still love to know what movies you clipped for that wonderful trailer. It was brilliantly done. I've watched over and over and included a cover of 'Iris' into the Brandon Smiling Soundtrack. -

He probably isn't what Comsie had in mind for Brandon, but if anyone fits the description of 'Prettiest Boy In School' its this guy. Makes me wish I was 15 again. ~sigh~ Oh well... -
Thorn, you just reminded me. I did the very same thing for my friend last week. He'd had a seisure a week ago Monday and I cooked him food enough for a few days so he'd have something decent to eat whilst convalescing. But...see? I'd already forgotten it! You write beautifully! I can understand what you say, you use full sentences WITH punctuation and you spell much better than I do!

By some miracle i have managed to find: The full faceshot of 'Brandon'! Here he is! And he IS smiling! I really can't believe I found this needle in a haystack. Whoever he is...he is just as adorable as I thought he'd be. He is already a heartbreaker. I wonder what he'll grow up to look like? -
I think that's where I'm kind of coming from. Depending on how one lives their lives, those two questions aren't easy to answer. Those of us who are outwardly focused often can't remember things they've done or have been done for them. They are always looking to the *next* opportunity to help or trying to solve the next problem that might require help from someone else. Its praiseworthy to 'push out' whenever you can. Life is best lived by living outside ourselves. We do not find ourselves by looking on the inside but by looking outward. This has been a public service announcement by the AD Councel

Oh no sweetie. I didn't take it like that. I was actually responding because I tried to think back to answer the question and my days have been so random and squished together lately, I actually can't remember a lot that I've done or I've had done for me. It just seems to merge into one general feelign of overall goodness. I haven't had that most my life! It is a blessing. its why being in a good community can be so important. I think its a great thing to be able to remember specific things. I wish I could! The more we do for others as we do for ourselves the better our world will be. I think its the answer to heaven. To...just love one another enough to share and take care of each other. I know I must sound like a pollyana rube...trust me, I know hardship. Its just that the past year or so since joing the gay community has shown me that there can be love and support there and its very important for us all to find and contribute to that in any way we can. I'm sorry for the the lack of clarity in my previous post. I didn't explain myself at all well.
