  1. I love the lovely love love that you pour on Randy and Ryan. Just laying together, no clothes on, just enjoying each other's warmth....What I would give to have that in my life! I'm glad you can help me dream of it here.

    Chapter 17

    "Face Time!" ~
  4. Depending on how your color perception is the top one moves like it is radiating and the second one moves like each of the wheels are turning slightly. You might let your eyes go out of focus a bit and you might see the effect. Its kind of neat when you do.
  5. I just came out last year. After years of being Frozen I finally feel like I'm thawing out and coming down off of the snowy mountain. The hardest part for me has been the reality adjustment and trying to fight the regret that I didn't do this years ago when I was younger. I do feel the loss of years rather keenly. I had the elation you are having W_L and now its settled into a more contented pattern of feelings. I have friends now where I didn't before. I belong to a community where I didn't before. I have people there for me where I didn't have them before. I now live in a Gayborhood and find myself doing all the things at 45 that I wanted to do at 25, but couldn't. Now, I really am longing for a boyfriend. I don't know if I will find one but I hope I do. I just hope I'm not too old for the guys around here now. San Diego does have a surplus of some of the cutest young gay guys anywhere because of the military. This makes competition a bit heavy for a middle aged guy. A lot of my stories are old fantasies that I've kept inside for decades and GA has given me a way to express them. They are dreams and sometimes I find those dreams become more real than I ever imagined. Maybe I will find the love I dream for my characters.
  6. HAPPY BIRFDAY!!!
  7. In many ways I was most fortunate in my privilege. A preposterous comment to a common understanding, I am sure, but not so incredible to those of us in my class who have been exposed to certain experiences. One might consider these experiences traumas. Many of my fellows at Oxford passed these tales to me in certain confidence. I only break this confidence now in these pages because those for whom I held this confidence have all finally passed beyond caring. To the hungry families that once
  8. Happy Birthday, Sweetie!
  9. The original Knights of the Old Republic game (KOTOR). Its actually an app now that you can play on your smart phone. It had a WAY better storyline than the Star Wars Prequels and it introduced us to a character that is second only to Darth Vader as being beloved by Star Wars fans. It was perhaps the best game I've ever played.

During the height of their underground popularity in England in the late 70s, Throbbing Gristle were called by the press 'the destroyers of civilization' because of their deeply challenging and troubling music. Just goes to show you...from such 'destroyers' comes some pretty healing advice.

I was doing some reserch for a story and I came upon this quote. It reminded me of what got me through Jr. High and High school. I didn't even know this quote existed and yet it was something of a mantra for me in those days. Writing can sometimes surface some old memories and thoughts from the past. Its part of the 'blood' an author has to spill on his papers. I also get too many young gay guys that talk to me of suicide as an option. Sometimes the platitudes "you have so much to live for, things get better, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem..." just don't work. Especially for those suffering from bullies. This quote....many times DOES work where other things fail. I guess when love isn't enough, you have to live out of hate to get through so you can find better love in the future.

"Don’t commit suicide because that’s what they want – If you commit suicide, they win. Choose life if only to spite them and p*** them off." ~Genesis P Orridge of the influential band Throbbing Gristle.
  15. This was a fun one to write. I likened it to a 'chess game of luuuuv' as the two fenced. Snowflake is an amazing spirit. I swear since I've started writing this that he has subtly influenced me. For instance, we just had an ethnic food fair in our central park here in San Diego and I bypassed all the fine exotics and made a beeline for the House of Finland. Hehehehe. I ended up with a little cup of pea soup...a Finn staple. I felt like I was sharing something with an imaginary character that has somehow become real to me.

I'm honored that you are reading my stuff and enjoying it Cynus. You have become eminent here at GA because of your entrancing stories. One day, I hope I can turn 'rust red' too...but I have a long long way to go. This first chapter I see as fairly primative. It sets the stage but I think that if I were ever to have this published for money I'd work on this a bit. This was my first bit of prose I wrote here. It was a 'wing it' kind of story...but as the characters have spoken to me a very deep and meaningful 'play' came to exist. I hope you can continue on and forgive my roughness. I am very new to this sort of thing.
  17. Now Chil the Kite brings home the night That Mang the Bat sets free-- The herds are shut in byre and hut, For loosed till dawn are we. This is the hour of pride and power, Talon and tush and claw. Oh, hear the call!--Good hunting all That keep the Jungle Law! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mowgli's Brothers by Rudyard Kipling
  18. One fulfills the other. They are a looped continuum for me. I cannot divorce the two essences from each other.
